Anyone figured out how to get crystals to grow? I have a single crystal sitting on a rock for hours but nothing is happening, has it not been implemented yet?
I guess this would require a checklist of things to look at to make sure everything is right for crystal growth:
1) Is the aura strong enough? i.e. does it have enough vis to sustain crystal growth?
2) How big is the crystal? It should reach a size where it won't grow any further.
3) Did you leave it for hours by leaving the general area? If you stay close enough that its chunk is still loaded, it'll keep growing. All random ticks are paused when the chunk they are working in is unloaded. They resume as soon as the chunk reloads.

Is there any way to change the size of the box of the break focus cause right now it takes out a massive chunk which is both good and bad...I have it at breaking strength 3

I just picked an island and decided to do all the destructive taint-generating there. Currently, it has no rifts, but the taint there doesn't go away. I don't know how, but it keeps spawning taint seeds, and I see no way of getting rid of them all. It also keeps creeping into the bunker, despite it having 2-block thick obsidian walls. Taint doesn't destroy obsidian, but it still covers it. The normal stone around it has been completely converted to either tainted rock or porous stone.
I suspect that tainted rock can spawn fibrous taint, and that can in turn evolve into taint seeds. Maybe closing off all empty spaces around the bunker can fix it, but currently I see no way of getting rid of the infection there.
Hello, I never really intended to come back to Minecraft after I disappeared from Discord some time ago for life reasons, but I don't have much else to do in my off time. So, I'd just like to ask one question: Is there any Eldritch in TC6 yet? I can't find anything in the changelogs, but I might be missing something.

hi there, i found the "dungeon" like thing in the nether, with the statues and stuff, but the altar in the middle has no action at all, neither did give me any knowledge in the thaunomicom... may i get a clue on how does this work?

How stable are the beta versions of this?
I'm thinking of playing around with some mods but have been waiting for Thaumcraft to get out of beta, is this like a beta where it's glitchy and we're helping him iron out the bugs, or is it stable enough and he's just still adding stuff into it?
Also, if I do end up trying it out any suggestions for mods to go with it?

Along with that you can press g (or whatever your default key may be) in order to change area size: use planning

For some reason, I can't fill my crucible by right-clicking with a water bucket. Does anybody know how to fix this?

If void pillar would generate inside your base, would you call it "damaging" or "entertaining"?
Regeneration key is saved per chunk. If you restore chunk from backup, regeneration will run again.
anyone else kinda miss the old version of taint, where it was more of a genuine risk as opposed to a minor inconvenience

TL;DR current taint isn't that harmless.
