Perhaps using one of the focii mediums you can imbue elemental or status effects to the weapon you're wielding. as such using the gauntlet with a bow lets you enhance the arrows with ice, healing, or wind for example. Imbuing them with the elemental effects from the focus.
It could either be a function of the touch medium, or there could be a new "Imbue/Enhance/Enchant" Medium. Allowing you to use your focus on whatever is being held in the opposite hand.
it would synergize well with bows, as you could give arrows anything from elemental to status effects. It wouldn't improve the arrows actual damage, but it would be a nice return of the elemental arrows.
It makes sense. Instead of crafting special arrows, you just imbue normal ones with magic while you draw them. Much more efficient.
Roguelike Dungeons helps a lot with the ossuary rooms. I put about a stack of skulls on the walls of my altar.
i end up mix and matching with the skulls and candles, since running with roguelikes puts you at a need for a rotten flesh sink,althouh even when im not running with roguelike spamming candles really isnt that expensive,especially if you have the thaumitorium nad a bit of a backlog of ignis essentia, with the classic method of layers upon layers of candles under the alter

Hm, now that you describe it, I do have something similar. Golems sometimes do not display upgrades, but it's just a visual glitch for me. They still use these upgrades (like flight or hauler), and still have them if I pick them up.
I've also seen something like that with infusion pedestals. But I barely ever have instability, and even if, I still can place the item back onto the pedestal. Nothing gamebreaking here either.
i also couldn't get golems to actually do any task i tried to setup for them, i tried to get them to harvest tinkers berries and they just sit there derping forever.

Does anyone have a nice, compact-ish design for an alumentum factory that is either semi automatic or fully automatic that preferably doesn't use golems? I want to see any you have that do use golems as well but I would prefer to try and figure out a way to do it without them. I have been having trouble coming up with the design for one.

I can answer that: They are visualisations for the creation of infinite cobblestone.
If you mix both of them just right you can get cobblestone for literally infinity.
The items that were used however are the block items. Unobtainable in command or mod free invironments.
