Is there any chance you could add a non-digital wall-clock and grandfather clock, as well as a wall-hung calendar?
Additionally, it would be awesome to be able to include holidays, fluxuating day/night/dusk/dawn lengths based on time of year, equinoxes, and special events coordinated with said holidays mechanically.

Does this mod actually change the time? I'm getting zombies that are coming out in the daytime and aren't burning up......Actually.. on a server (my own)... One computer shows daytime, the other shows night??????? Is this supposed to happen?

This is not suppose to happen and I'm very curious why this occurs. Please send me an email at [email protected] titled AdvanceTime Bug with the client and server log file(s) attached. Log files can be found in the .minecraft directory: such as ForgeModLoader-client-0.log.
There can be a number of reasons why AdvanceTime may fail to work and I have two that comes to mind:
If MCPC is used on any of these systems, or
another mod is conflicting with AdvanceTime.
I have seen crash reports where people are trying to run 300+ mods! I don't even know if that is possible.
If it is a mod conflict, I will try my best to resolve it.

Actually, I AM using MCPC+... Not the first time I've heard it causing an issue

Special Note: Regarding MCPC
I have made some small changes of how AdvanceTime transform Minecraft code.
I think AdvanceTime should work now with MCPC, but I have no way of testing it.
Hence, I will place a special AdvanceTime download link here for people who use MCPC.
I would appreciate feedback on how it works.
Testing it now. I'll give feedback when I've tested thoroughly, looks good so far. I'll see how it works on my VPS later.
Edit: It appears that while AdvanceTime runs and operates without error, it does not actually control the day/night cycle on my MCPC set-up. Example: /atime set daylength 72000 should make a day that's 3 vanilla days long. However, the entire cycle completes in the default 24000 tick cycle.
Edit: Also. It appears that on MCPC, the AdvanceTime plugin messes with chunk rendering and loading. Some areas will load fabulously, but also huge void chunks are visible as if the world and client are out of sync. I think maybe Spigot needs some kind of hook to deal with tick issues?
I get a strong FLASH every so often... world wide... seems to go through everything... It does seem to have an awkward effect on mobs... I've set mine to have 60 min daylengths and it just seems... "Awkward"... I can destroy things normally.. There are wazombies and skeletons walking around in the daytime...... no burning... Also using MCPC+ latest forge and MCPC+ on 1.6.4

These are the common issues you may encounter with MCPC+ for both 1.6.2 and 1.6.4. Unfortunately, there is no support for MCPC+. AdvanceTime is specifically written for Forge. I have spent some time working on compatibility with MCPC. However, I'm delayed due to porting to MC 1.7.2 and college homework.
I am having a weird issue where after I've increased the day length to 72000 ticks, the stars come out while the suns stiill up and monsters start spawning in the dimmer places, also Rei'd mini map thinks it's night time and dims.
can it be set (in config) so only admin can use the commands??
Do you mean people other than operators?
There is currently no config setting where you can set who can use the time command. The reason why is because I use the vanilla permission level for the time command.
However if you want, I can add this feature.
Edit:
If there are no operators, you can use the server console as an administrator to change the time.
Mystcraft dimensions seem to display time wrongly, is there any way to fix it? (i have set the days to be 72000ticks instead of 24000)
This is true. I have taken a look at Mystcraft and the reason why it does not work is because it has multiple suns and moons. There is no fix as of right now. However it is next on the todo list after Optifine's custom skies. I do love Mystcraft, and I will get it to work with AdvanceTime
Hey, I'm trying to add this to my game, but can you add the default day length to the config without having to use the /time command for new worlds? Also, I'm not really sure how to increase the time skip for sleep so it can go by faster. Also could you please explain what exactly happens in a mystcraft world? They are other dimensions, so I guess they would just have their own separate system... I don't wanna try it if it might break my mystcraft dimensions.
Hello, I am requesting permission to use your mod within our mod pack distributor PackAssembler, which allows mod packs to be created on the fly. The permissions for each mod on the site are maintained as well, they can be viewed in the details of each mod page. We generally follow instructions for modpack distribution, except when information specific to providing the mod individually is given, like the license for AdvanceTime Mod. Therefore, I was wondering if I could get a waiver for your license and have permission to distribute AdvanceTime Mod freely.
Command blocks work like a server console; you must add 'dimension [id]' with the time command.
For example:
/time set daylength 80 dimension 0
I'm reserving this for when I implement seasons.
Additionally, it would be awesome to be able to include holidays, fluxuating day/night/dusk/dawn lengths based on time of year, equinoxes, and special events coordinated with said holidays mechanically.

[edit] The /time command is vanilla, so use /atime

so operators by default are the only ones who can use it?
This is correct
