[///Sunken Ships]
Explore the deep for riches, the ocean floor is no longer merely squids and gravel!
[///Info] This Mod is meant for singleplayer, I'm not an expert modder and also can't make it for forge, etc.
Go to .minecraft folder>versions, copy a fresh 1.7.2 jar file, rename it to 1.7.2 expansion mode (or w/e you prefer), rename the jar, the json and the second quotations in the json file (open and edit the file) to the same thing then place the Jar Files into the new 1.7.2 jar and delete the META-INF folder.
Place the Expansion Resource Pack in .minecraft>resourcepacks as a folder (also not as a zip file)
In your minecraft launcher, go to edit profile and select the Expansion Pack version.
Note: Feel free to take the textures from the mod and add them to your texture pack, make sure to place in the exact same spots as they were so the code can select it properly. If the mobs and items don't have textures, they will be all wack, and that would be pretty wack.
[///Credits]-Credits to The Painterly Pack, some of the textures from it are used in the resource pack-(www.painterlypack.net) and to TheMasterCaver for helping me with the overhang fog!
Hey, you are redistributing the 1.6.2.jar, which is illegal.
And the download does not work.
Oh, right. >_<
This is my first time modding after we got the launcher. I fixed the download and changed it to the specific class files and the language file needed. I tested it and it should work now! I accidentally deleted the particular class files I had for the mod so I copied over all the class files in it instead, shouldn't make a difference though.
This looks like a really cool mod. I hope you plan to update it to 1.7
----I sure am. It's going to take a week or so and I have a lot of additions to add. Namely making enchant repairs cost less(1 resource and about half the lvl amount it usually does, since repair costs are nuts and there's less ore spawn), giving the spawned overworld dragon a small regen (so it's not too easy to kill), and working on the code for herobrine and mountain goats etc.
----My friend wanted me to add a tnt that's more explosive, it'll be made of gunpowder and 'alchemy tar' that spawns in the nether in place of gravel (why is gravel there anyways?). I wanted to make it because I think black-colored tnt would be extremely cool and fun to mess around with in creative.
Edit: omg, another idea, the current egg recipe will be for a red dragon that spawns o_~
I need to make a separate dragon anyways, to have the independent regeneration. I'll still keep that enderdragon picture at the top tho, cuz its b.a.
EPIC! I would love it if you made another version of this mod, except WITHOUT the nerfs, as it would be pretty cool to go around those canyons I also like the idea of being able to do something with that Enderdragon egg. *+ 1!* have some sparkles!
( /^.^/) *.*. Sparkles!
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I support!
Better World Generation 4. Bring back the good ol' times!

I could make 2 versions, it wouldn't be that hard, I would have to know which nerfs you are talking about however. lol
Looks nice, tough I think the big holes in the ground are too odd and the flying creature is way to random.
----I've been debating it. They are pretty big but when I make them any smaller they become more square chunks, but I find regular ravines boring. I like to see it as 'caving outside'. I am going to make them thinner and spawn a little higher up so they don't look like stadiums and so they don't have as much lava at the bottom.
----The flying creature used to be in the nether in my older mod but I felt like I had way too many mobs in the nether and wanted to put that one in the overworld so there was a reason for people to build roofs on their structures.
Btw, to anyone waiting for the 1.7 version, the new MCP should be out soon and it won't take me long to make the new version, along with all the new features I decided to add to it recently.
I only just found this mod today. It looks really good. I really like the canyon idea as i think ravines are just annoying. Great job and i hope you manage to update it and make it a forge mod.

I gave up on forge again. Unless forge makes it simpler to override base code I won't bother. When I update it for 1.7.x I'll check if it works with Optifine.

very interesting...
How exactly is he redistributing the .jar? He is simply telling you to copy and edit it...
Link Removed
ould like to mention that the download appears to be broken, may just be me though
When I posted that, has WAS redistributing the jar, so next time, look at the date before you reply.
