After playound with it a bit - i really like it but there are 2 "dealbreakers" :
1. Crafting table is not consistent, everything flows away like vanilla when you close. The basic "TiCon" table functionality we got used to would improve it alot.
2. Messy with the stacks not beein accumulated. 20 rows of iron ingots? Cant you do it similar to ae2? It also makes manual input output in larger systems a hassle (scroll down to a free slot to input...)
The storage is meant to be simplier. I could add those features of the ae things but it is so cheap that the functions are result of the cost. There may be upgrades in the future to add those features but as of now they are not on the table
The addition not working is something strange. I have noticed it but it doesn't seem to be all the time.
These things will hopefully be worked on within a month or so. I have had a lot of real life stuff to deal with so my modding has had to slow for quite some time. As soon as I have some free time I will have a look.
How about ore dictionary confusion? Throughout different mods, the same metal but from different mods can someone times either be compatible or incompatible with each other in crafting.
I'm back and have actually gotten to code a bit. The things I want to do are going to be part of a mod between me and Dyonovan. This mod has no theme and has been our working ground for random ideas we have. Expect some fun stuff from it and hopefully you guys don't mind seeing another random bag mod.
Hm, that's shame. I don't understand why you create something which already exists multiple times instead of creating something unique.
I think you have the wrong idea. Perhaps if I explain my point of view you'll see things a little differently.
First off, the things in this mod are unique. We don't see a need to do something others have done before. The reason that it doesn't have a unique idea behind it is because many mod authors end up in the same boat. They have a couple really good ideas but they don't fit into any of their existing mods. Nobody likes when a tech mod throws in some random crap that doesn't fit with it. Not only that, but designing items to fit into a mod's theme can get very old. Sometimes you just want to do something for the fun of it and not have to worry about making it fit or balanced.
Think of it this way, the reason a lot of these mods exist is because mod authors have good ideas that they don't want to work into their existing mods or somebody doesn't want to deal with setting up a theme for their mod. There is nothing wrong with that and believe me it can get old to have to think about all those variables when you could just make it and not have to do that. This mod is a blank canvas for us to just have fun and try things out. It allows us to do some fun coding things that we want to test and not break our existing mods. Its a playground to let your creative ideas come out and not be censored by the structure of your other mods.
Sorry to kinda jump on you like that but I just don't agree with your statement. The ideas are unique. And we will be designing the mod to be very configurable even in game so if you don't like parts its easy to disable and enable things. Believe me I don't like knowing that this kind of mod has been done multiple times but I feel it is worth it to bring to life the ideas we have planned. I can promise you there will be some fun new things coming out of this mod. We have multiple people brainstorming from light players to people who plays hours a day. Have faith in us

Two things.
One, I never said I wasn't going to work on this mod. I can work on more than one mod at a time. It will benefit me to have time to just code more for fun and not worry about balance and it will benefit the players as when I do switch back to this mod I can do it with a renewed energy and motivation. This mod has been maintained for almost three years now from its first state and sometimes its nice to just try something different. You try keeping a mod going for that long.
Secondly and most importantly, this is my mod. I do this in my spare time. I release it to everyone because I enjoy doing it. I'm not a paid developer, I'm not a professional game designer. I take time away from my job, family, and everything else to mod because I find it fun. However, people that demand I work on it or are not grateful that I'm trying to bring you the best I can when I can, make it not fun. Your statement is doing the opposite of what wanted it to. I'm not going to say "Gee, I guess I really should focus on this mod even if it takes all the fun out of it because one person said I should" now I'm thinking, "Gee, I really don't want to work on this mod now if some people don't care about me, the creator's, opinions"
Go ahead and remove it from you pack. Honestly, I don't care if this mod gets super popular or if people use it. I simply make it because I find it fun. Besides, I'd rather have people who appreciate my mod play it, so I'm encouraging you to remove it.
To be honest, I truly loved your mod. It's simple, useful and very creative. You really did a splendid job, I enjoy having Modular Systems in my modpack

I like this mod a lot in one of my world's I never changed from your modular furnace as my ore smelter sure I could have fitted several alloy furnaces in the 8x4x3 space I had my modular furnace in but I liked the modular furnace more because it was more fun having to expand when I wanted more speed or efficiency
don't let this one guy get you down you have at least ten times him that love your mod
it's unique and different I am tired of mods that copy each other and your mod is original at least from my point of view

You may have your wish soon. There are people who have shown interest in having that mod reborn and I intend to do so. It is possible that I may even have help from Dyonovan in bringing it back to life. The issue is when I upgraded my computer, I lost what work I had been working on. I did a lot of work getting it just where I wanted it and didn't have a git repo set up for it so that was my own fault.
I wish I could have kept up with the team we had going. Things got crazy in my real life and it kinda fizzled out. You're more than welcome to continue work with the git repo as you have been answer questions and such. I really do appreciate it. If you ever want to come hang out I'm usually on the Beyond Reality TeamSpeak when I'm working so feel free to drop by as it is open to the public

That is another one of my ideas. As I said this mod has been a place for me to test out ideas. I will explain what both items are just to be nice.
The bag is a trash bag. Behaves just like a trash can from open blocks but it's an item. An upgraded version will allow you to list items to automatically trash.
The other, is a pipette. It will hold any liquid and can hold anywhere up to 250mb. It can extract and put fluid into any tank or machine and those with multiple tanks will open a gui to choose which tank. It renders the fluid nicely and is useful for getting fluids less than a bucket out. Imagine when you pour not enough metal in tinkers. This will let you pull it out and not have to break the block and lose the fluid

Curse PremiumYeah you could likely make some higher tier blocks for that functionality but those two would really beef up the mod in terms of player experience.

Problems and suggestions:
- Stacks take up more than 1 space, so can you plz make it so that you can change that in the configs
- There is no search bar, so please add a block that can allow you to search
- There is a limit on how much storage expansion blocks you can have (Tested about 440 storage spaces w/ all the upgrades)
- You cannot use the mouse scroll wheel to scroll down ( abit annoying)
- Crafting Table does not save when you exit the GUI
- Should have more compact but more expensive blocks that add more storage space
But otherwise, great mod

is your trashbag going to be compatible with Inventory tweaks, like shift clicking stuff into it?

Curse PremiumThat is not an inventory tweaks thing. Shift clicking is part of vanilla minecraft and doing so in this gui will out that item into the destroy slot
