The issue I see happening is NEI. We can't seem to find the exact bug but NEI seems to mess around with things we also mess around with. So versions sometimes don't get along. I'll make sure I get to it at some point

v 2.2.1 still uncompatible witf invTweaks, so practically unusable
If you feel one little mod incompatibility ruins the entire experience of my mod that is fine but it does not make the mod unusable. It works just fine and is totally usable. You may not find it enjoyable without your other mod but that is none of my concern and does not change the functionality of the mod.

modular systems good mod and he is in excellent MYM GalacticScience pack but i know not people who played without invTweaks, early in 2014 i delete lovely mods as infinvo and dualhotbar because they were not compatible with invtweaks =(
today infinvo have good compatiblitiy with invtweaks and i can enjoy them

Hello, I use Galactic Science modpack, and I have older version this mod. If I update on version 1.7.10 - 2.2.1, I have some problems (I use for playing my hosting server). What I'm doing wrong?
I want more expansion (search etc.) but this not in my older version.
Would you mind being a little more specific? The version in that pack is the old version. We have completely rewritten it and it requires the BookShelf API developed by me and Dyonovan.The new version has those features you are looking for but there is no way for me to put them in the old version
Some players on our server are sometimes having client rendering crashes after placing Modular Systems blocks.
Not all players have the issue, a block that causes one to crash may not affect another player at all.
So far we've had it happen with a Modular Furnace Core and a Modular Storage Crafting Expansion (separate incidents), there was another, but my memory is lacking it at the moment.
So I've been trying to learn the configuration for modular furnaces to make all my modded materials more dynamic, and just now understood what I was looking at 10 hours ago before I left for work.
Either way, just want to say thanks for this mod, I'm having tons of fun with it as my only tech option.
I dont quite understand how to power the Furnace or the Grinder anymore. I cant throw coal in like I used to. What I would like to see is an ingame manual that explains how the mod works now.

Put a fuel bank into the structure. All fuel is now based on supplier blocks. RF, EU, Fluid, solid, Mana, they can all power your structures and can have set priorities. Manuals are difficult to make and I have a full time job and my final semesters of my undergrad degree so finding time to do anything for this mod is difficult. I understand your point and I wish I could provide more documentation but unfortunately I am unable to provide that at the moment. I'm sure there are people who are willing to help out here with information if not me myself. Such as right now.

Would an RF power input be something to consider? It would be fun to build a giant RF powered furnace or Oreprocessesingplant

So far we've had it happen with a Modular Furnace Core and a Modular Storage Crafting Expansion (separate incidents), there was another, but my memory is lacking it at the moment.
The log has so far always been this.
I'm currently seeking more data from the players, and attempting to isolate the problem in a controlled environment.
I do have a couple theories I'm investigating.
- The crash is actually a problem with the Bookshelf API
and/or
- The crash happens when a player causes the invalid-configuration texture to appear.
If I get anything more useful I'll report back.
