I don't know that I would necessarily even call this an issue, but I have to admit the speed vs. efficiency figures are a bit misleading. Speed going down means that it will take less time to finish smelting, while efficiency going UP means that fuel efficiency increases. Would it be possible to make it clearer that speed going down is better than up?
I'm good with textures. If you need a Thermal Expansion x Buildcraft aesthetic for something, ping me. I don't visit the forms often so it'll take a while.

I've found a dupe bug in 2,2,1; Have a breaker block with a pickaxe in it attached to a modular storage extension line and break one of the extensions not touching the breaker A copy of the pickaxe inside the block will pop out as if you'd broken the block, but if you reconnect it to the modular storage core it will still have the pickaxe inside it.
the copy can't be used to repair, as far as i can tell, because sticking it in the crafting grid with another damaged pickaxe does nothing.
Got a crash on the 1.8 version. I was trying to use the search on storage. It crashed when I typed the first letter (was looking for glass).

Seems NEI is an issue once again. The 1.8 version isn't all too stable and has weird issues like that. I'll look into it and see what is going on. It doesn't seem like he has been actively developing the 1.8 branch so bugs just sorta exist. Perhaps there is a work around. As for the other issue. That is strange indeed

i've built a cuboid bigger than i generally build houses, it is large enough that i can be next to the front and mobs will spawn inside the back end. I tried adding glowstone blocks as a valid wall item, along with just sticking torches on the inside, but neither thing worked. Is there code that checks to see if everything inside is perfectly dark as part of the 'am i a correctly built multiblock'?
i built one that big because i wanted more work out of it, and i'm definitely getting it; 100% speed, 5% efficency, and 10 multiplicity is very, very nice, but having a huge area where mobs can spawn all the time inside my home isn't fun, because i'm getting endermen wandering around and picking things up.

Hmm. Guess I never thought to fix that. Yeah when I get the chance I'll flag my blocks so mobs won't spawn

another thing: My cuboid is complete and has 193% speed, 50% efficiency, and +11X multiplicity (using only the blocks you've got added as a default config), as an RF generator, it makes 34.5k redstone flux per tick. One redstone power output can only put out 1000 rf/t to a wire
Would you maybe add a high voltage port for people who're crazy like i am and build giant cubiods?

Just use multiple outputs. Each has separate output rates so they stack
Paul, Bookshelf apparently updated. Plan on updating?
I don't think it has updated seeing as I make that as well. If it shows an update curse is having issues. There is a 1.8 version that has been updated since this but this mod is 1.7.10. Use that version

Then I think there are two mods with the same name.
Regardless, I try and run this mod with Bookshelf and it gives me an error when attempting post-initialization. I'll go get it.
I fear not. It didn't crash the normal way. I fear the end of the log is gonna have the closest to a crash log.
Please double check that you only have one version of bookshelf for the version of minecraft you're playing. I wish I could help more but I've been very busy. I'll try to look into that report a bit closer at some point

I wonder, do any other mods have Bookshelf built in? I may have one of them if they do.

I removed all mods except Bookshelf, MS, NEI, and its dependencies. My guess is that recent updates of NEI and the dependencies
made Bookshelf incompatible with it. Hopefully updating Bookshelf for it will help.

Found a small bug in 1.8: Some items with IDs higher than 367 (rotten flesh) disappear from the modular storage when the sort option is used. I can confirm that carrots, zinc ore (from Base Metals), blaze powder, spider eyes, magma cream, ghast tears, emeralds and potatoes have disappeared from my setup. Breaking blocks until items drop out did not return the items.
"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
Yeah, i could do that, but that means i'll need thirty five of them, which is why i asked.
I'm using Modular Systems in my pack "SkyMyst". Thanks, great mod!
I actually plan to use your mod in my pack. Well I have played with it privately but now people want to play in my "pacK" also because I stream it.
I don't have a name for the pack yet and not sure about putting it up on any of those launchers.
Alsoyour storage is my alternative to using AE and you should see how I use it with pistronics and an epic sugar cane farm.
Also many thanks.
EDIT: https://www.dropbox.com/s/szsk2ak4u58nlgi/fml-client-latest.log?dl=0 The log was probably too much for Pastebin, so I dropboxed the file. I hope this gets fixed, Modular Systems had my favorite storage system.
Thats not very useful to me. Do you have a crash log?
