Why not? This IS Ex Nihilo after all. Making more from less is pretty much what this mod does. And if it bothers you so much, make a cauldron and fill bottles from there.

Hey, what's this "force ores" part of the config file?

What does this do if I turn these to True? Will it interfere with Metallurgy? (I'm not using this on a Skyblock or limited world -- I think the Ex Nihilo stuff is actually pretty darn awesome even in normal Minecraft.)

By default, Ex Nihilo will not make the sieve drop metals that are not used in another mod. So if you don't have a mod that adds copper ore, sieving gravel won't give you copper. By setting copper to true, however, it WILL drop copper, allowing you to stockpile it for future use. I did this for nickel, lead and silver when I was waiting for Thermal Expansion 4.

That would be a sluice you're thinking of. Sieves can't do that.
And besides, for that, it's not the water that actually gives the gold. You dump gravel or dirt, and all the water does is really 'automate' the process.
Anyways, seeing how water is ridiculously easy to get and mass-produce, it would unbalance the game quite a bit.
That's basically a joke recipe. You'd have to somehow get a still water block to do it, which is impossible in Survival.
LIES! ALL LIES! Nothing, and I repeat NOTHING is impossible with mods! Do you hear me, NOTHING! Otherwise we wouldn't have this mod either, since this is essentially a dirt to diamonds converter. A bit slower and more complex than normal ones, sure, but still turning dirt into diamonds.

It's right: With the Pun mod you can kill an aquatic animal (which gives you blindness) and get water still...

Is there still a way to get lily pads by right clicking dirt that's under a water block? I've been trying with every combination i can come up with and nothing happens. The crook doesn't lose durability or anything. I'm using Ex Nihilo 1.37 & Forge 1217 on 1.7.10.
I keep having an error with autonomous activators and hammers, whenever I set it to left click and it starts to break the block, I crash, and its with every block, can anyone possibly help me?

Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
