So, Crucibles can accept cobble via right-click (which means players or autonomous activators) and Thermal Expansion's ItemDucts (I've SEEN this on the skyblock server I'm on) but they DON'T accept cobble from EnderIO's item conduits - how would this get addressed, if ever it was?

I haven't written any code to allow sieves to interact with any form of piping. They don't even have an inventory. I don't intend to change this.
This is intended. On skyblock maps sand is very important. Not just as something to grow cactus and sugarcane on, but it's important for use with my sieves as well. Besides, what would I change it to?
Also, this mod is officially OPEN SOURCE. Please be gentle with the criticism. This was my first Minecraft mod. =)
You can find the link in the original post in the Permissions section (which was also updated).
If anyone wants to make additions or contribute bug fixes, I'm willing to entertain the idea. I have no idea how to be an administrator for an open source project, but I'm willing to learn. I'm also going to do my best to keep writing code on the weekends at least. We'll have to see just how much I can get accomplished with that schedule.

Step 1) Put source into dev environment~
Step 2) Hijack the cr............ wait I already did that ;D
**EDIT**
Step 3) Making something more... standardized ;D
Oh, I had a thought or two while waiting for my trees to grow - what if the 'leaky' wood barrels irrigated blocks in a short - maybe 1 block - radius? I know you -can- farm without water, but this would be a small improvement for early game. You still need a bucket for almost anything practical, and this would make it slightly easier to not-starve without a lucky acorn. (I accidentally fell off with all my oak saplings in hand on a birch map, haven't seen another one since.
Also, using Extra Utilities and this mod's world gen features it was really easy to create a skyblock to my specifications - much as I appreciate the 'official' companion map, it seriously bothers me to have snow in a square or two, rain in another square or two, and nothing in the third set o' squares. So I made my own and it turns out it's a plains next to a magical forest biome, which led me to researching the pech and discovering that with luck and lots of gold/diamonds/stuff, you can get almost everything you need to ascend the Thaumcraft ladder. Tedious, but possible. I like the idea of using Nether Quartz to create Thaumcraft shards, on another random note.
Assuming I can get a pech to spawn, which I'm intending to try and force after getting that last iron bar for a bucket for my cobble generator so I can actually seriously consider getting any reasonable quantity of glass.
((I picked up Extra Utilities specifically for the Angel Block and shelved it after I made my skyblock, until such time as I research it further.

I have an idea to add! I suck at coding so someone could add it.
A monolith (space odyassy 2001) made with a nether star. Once you place it down, lights start to appear, spawning villagers.
-or cause them to bred faster?-
I'm also glad you didn't set up piping, really as cool as auto mation is it can get to a point where you don't have to do anything in game anymore. Why play if all you have to do is run around while the game plays its self?
One thing about the Forestry addon.
Is there any way to get Steadfast Bees? found in the extra bees addon?
These are rare bees that by default are only found in dungeon chests. Can you add a means to acquiring these rare bees?
I do hope magic bees are soon to be supported as well. And nether bees, that would be swell.
By the way, how long does it take, or how rare is it for mycelium to spawn under a water filled barrel?
I've had three in a sheltered location sitting on grass for about a RL week (leaving game open while in bed/work) and still nada.
Ex Aliquo lets you sieve for oreberry bushes, smelt ore gravel, ore sand, ore dust (both block and item form), and even has a config for how much fluids you get per smelting as per the Tconstruct ingot value and if the ore gravel/sand/dust counts as an ore as per TConstruct ore rules or as an Ingot to stay true to Nihilo. Smelting dust items can be disabled if you so choose, but they can even be further configured to give an even lower liquid value (1/4 the block value by default) to 1/6 of the block value to both allow for the option to smelt excess dusts or stay true to Nihilo and craft the block. Cobalt and Ardite are also currently obtainable in nugget form through Ex Nihilo methods
It also allows you to get Natura plants as well to give a bit more color to your world. Other mods coming soon!
Currently, Aliquo does not use any custom items or blocks to allow for the mod to be removed if you so choose without having to lose anything!
How do I go about installing this mod? I have dropped the zip in my mod folder from Forge but it keeps crashing. It may be an incompatibility or something but I just want to check!

just wanted to say GREAT mod. i have loved it since i Downloaded it.
Also i would like your permission to use this in a mod pack im making for me and my friends that will be available from dropbox if you would like to try it aswell.
One Last thing where did you learn to code, as i would love to learn how to
Would it be possible to make sticks compostable? Maybe for a slightly longer compost time - it's just that I have so much wood and almost nothing to do with it!

These bees don't have a natural hive, so it's difficult to get them to work with my artificial hives. I'll give it some thought though and try to come up with something.

In the main post I say that you have permission and that you don't need to ask. =)
I learned to code by writing code. That might sound too simple, but it's true. At this point, I've been writing code for years. I've taken classes that covered different programming languages and topics in computer science, but I've always learned the most when I decided to build a mod or throw together a game. Programming is fun! If you are having fun and working on something that you care about, you'll do what it takes to learn what you need to know.
Would it be possible to make sticks compostable? Maybe for a slightly longer compost time - it's just that I have so much wood and almost nothing to do with it!
I don't want any form of wood to be compostable for that exact reason. Early dirt production would be trivial even if I made the barrel require a whole stack of sticks per dirt block. Maybe you could turn the wood into charcoal and use it to power some Thermal Expansion / MFR / Forestry / IC2 stuff if you really are dying to get rid of it?
Just accept that you don't have to work on your tree farm for a while and focus on improving your island in other ways, like growing all the plants and setting up a ranches for all the animals. Build an observatory above the island so you can look down on everything you've built. Go the opposite direction and look up from the near the void. Build a slime spawner or a mob trap. (A mob trap will give you more dirt than you know what to do with if you do it right). Purify some villagers and build them a safe area to roam around in. If you are playing on a server, try building a platform out of cobblestone and throwing stones at it until it is completely infested with silverfish, then put down a sign saying "Spleef Arena!".

Is there any reason why you don't want to compost seeds though? In one world I'm building in right now with this mod, I have several stacks of wheat seeds along with some odd pumpkin and melon seeds that at the moment I mostly throw into a lava incinerator.
I do agree with your decision to not make it possible to compost wood. That would make the early game progression far too easy.

>_> THAT IS A MUCH BETTER IDEA THAN USING 72 STONES TO MAKE ONE SEARED BRICK IN A CRUCIBLE WHY DID I NOT FIND THIS?
Can you add in away to get marble and bassault from project red? Perhaps marble from stone and bassalt from soulsand?
And about the hive for steadfast bees. Couldn't you make one of your own? Or maybe, if you have a chest in an X block radious of a hive a steadfast will spawn in it if there is free space? If there only found in chests maybe it it is more attractive to wood then seed oiled heystack.
Or maybe you can oil a chest and place it and have a shot at them spawning in it.
As long as you don't make them insanely rare. They may only spawn in chests but it's like 1 in 5. I can get a few drones in a normal cave dive. What makes them 'rare' or hard is that they only ever spawn drones. So you're forced to mix breed them in hopes of gaining a princess, and more often then not their breed ends up 'vanishing' this way. >.> Three steadfast drones mixed with a forest,. and got the forest back each time >.> it's luck.
As for magic bees, I would suggest that they have a requirement of spawning only in magical biomes, however not everyone is going to have AM2 or even thaumcraft installed. You could add that if thaumcraft is installed at least that theyd need a magic biome that can spawn from silverwood trees, but that means you'd have to add away to gain said saplings, then hope they change the biome as it's a rare chance for them to. (If you not guessed, I'm a huge fan of bee breeding so am a HUGE fan of having away to acquire more hives in a way that makes sense!)
For the time however, maybe make them a bit more of a rare chance to spawn in the place of a normal hive. http://wiki.feed-the-beast.com/Hive_Bee
Lists all the hives and bees.
If anything,
Oblivion Hive could be gotten in the end, could need the dragon egg near by to spawn (if so please take into account the 'dragon mount' mod that may change the egg a bit).
Deep Hive perhaps needs to be closer to the bottom of the world, say 20 or so.
Infernal Hive perhaps needs to have glowstone near it to spawn in the nether.
The other three magic bees could just have a low chance to spawn instead of one of the others. Two of them are normal/normal, ones hot/arid.
