Ok, last version before MC 1.8 has been released. Update 0.5 adds a few cool new things, more about them in changelog.
Sorry about not updating and talking with you guys, but I don't have much time to work on Minecraft mods. It will probably change soon(ish)...
Welcome back to the world of the living, and thank you SO MUCH for the update! I'm really enjoying the simplicity of this mod. It adds so much to the game, without going overboard.
i've been using this mod for ages now and the only problem i have with it is a couple times it given me a textureless lava block that then breaks my game and i have to restart from my most recent back up
i haven;'t got a crash report sorry, this happened a few weeks back, i actually only just found this mod on here, i downloaded it from elsewhere unfortunately
First off... Love this mod! My son and I have been having loads of fun with it in a custom modpack with 100s of mods.
That being said, we would like more control over what is dropped.
Can we have meta for 1.7?
#only listed sub items
"Somemod:tile.someBlocks":3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15
#range of items
"Somemod:tile.someOtherBlocks":0-7,9-15
#lack of meta means only 0
"Somemod:tile.someBlock":
#single item from a group
"Somemod:tile.someOtherBlock":4
Maybe an option to pick from existing dungeon chest loots?
dungeonCorridor, desertTemple, bonusChest, blacksmith... or whatever the actual names are.
Also, adding an entire mod to the blacklist then adding specific items to the drops section seems to add the entire mod back into the loot table?
Last thing, a question, the rare drops section... is there a non rare drops section? For use with the above line... Would like to add an entire mod to the blacklist, some items from same mod to common drops, and yet others to rare drops.
An example would be:
blacklist:
ganysnether:*
common:
ganysnether:spectreWheat
rare:
ganysnether:blazingCactoid
Hoping to get the above working in 1.710, Thanks in advance
EDIT: Also looking at other loot type mods, would it be possible to do weighted drops instead of common/rare... where a parameter on the allowed line would tell it how rare it is?
20:"somemod:someitem":0-15
99:"somemod:someotheritem"
50:"somemod:yetanotheritem":4
20 being more rare then 99.
Edit2: One last thing hopefully... could we get:
I:"Chance to spawn creeper"=0
or
I:"Chance to spawn creeper"=99
Thanks again, this mod is awesome, soooo much easier then HQM bags to setup.
I am a user of your 1.6.4 version and i came across a field where i farmed clovers till i had about 2 stacks (clovers will be a cornerstone of item farming in my small lan server) but i stumbled across a creeper that blew up in my face and all my items with it around 90-100 clovers in of mashing them. Is thre any way to ban creepers from spawning in 1.6.4 version? and if not, are you going to be updating the 1.6.4 version anytime? please and thank you <3
The combination of your and my mod lead to a crash:
[14:27:47] [Client thread/ERROR] [FML]: Caught exception from magicclover
java.util.regex.PatternSyntaxException: Unclosed group near index 28
ism:itemWaluigixD_(waluigixD
It occurs when starting Minecraft. I will rename this item, but please fix this bug for your part too.
Many Greetings

Version 0.7 released. Items from mods no longer drop from clover (by default). This should fix big amount of crashes. If you want to enable modded items, adjust the MagicClover's configuration file. I've also added metadata support for configuration (minecraft:stone:1) and removed "Common Items" section (you can use regex for more complex stuff).
If configuration format scares you, I recommend using Forge's Config GUI, which is available in the Mod List.

Hi, I have a problem with your mod . Do not drop the blocks with some set of modifications - IC2, RotaryCraft, Electric Craft, BuildCraft ( of the unit) . Fashion is the latest version .
I have a Question: How would I configure it to drop modded items as well as vanilla items?
Thanks,
BearCorn
Oh wait, I figured it out. In the item whitelist, I changed it from Minecraft:* To *:*. this changes it to any random Item from any random Mod. By the way, AMAZING mod! It really helped me out in my 1.6.4 modpack and since it's updated, It helps even more in 1.7.10. So, Good job!

I will make a modpack with your mod, ok?
@MrUsoGamer "You have my permission to use this mod in any mod pack, just put link to this site somewhere visible."
@lunchboxxx19 Could you please post crash report? I can't help you without any information.

Anyway you could make a curse profile so I can easily keep up with updates?
Until someone ports this legendary mod I am leaving the minecraft scene. http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/greg.ewing/minecraft/mods/ArchitectureCraft/#mozTocId598776 I have watched too many legendary mods die and carpenters blocks sudden fallout out of mainstream made me cry. I realize the source is messy but some of the best mods from 1.6.4 and 1.7.10 were.

I encountered a similar error, I submitted it to Magic Clover guthub issue tracker, and I do not have ISM installed.

@MaggiCraft
Unlocalized names shouldn't contain any other characters than a-z, A-Z, 0-9 and _.
Thank you. I will overwork this.

Version 0.7.1 is out. Now with 99% less crashes.
Is there a way to enable everything from all of my mods without listing out every single one of them in the config?
Also, if you could add a debug mode where it shows what was dropped by the clover in the console window, that would be pretty useful.
Hi, I have a problem with your mod . Do not drop the blocks with some set of modifications - IC2, RotaryCraft, Electric Craft, BuildCraft ( of the unit) . Fashion is the latest version .
Does it not drop any blocks or just modded? Because modded blocks are disabled from drop by default (see changelog for version 0.7).
I have a Question: How would I configure it to drop modded items as well as vanilla items?

I've updated MagicClover to 1.9 and moved downloads to CurseForge.
Also, new, more friendly, actually working configuration system is coming to version 0.8.
If you like these kinds of random drop mods, I've released Tumbleweed mod and some feedback would be great.
