reteo quite possibly something was updated and the old item was rendered buggy or something similar which caused the game to crash. That has happened a few times for me.
So after updating to v8 a/b when I try to gen a world it crashes. Made a instance where your mods are the only thing besides BOP and even tried to gen a world with no BOP and still crashes here is the crash log. looks like it happens late in the gen process.

Thanks for putting your mods on curse Reika! It makes updating so much easier!
Thank you Reika for the time and effort you put in minecraft modding, anyhow it does not change a thing for GNU/Linux users since curse does not support it in any way. ( yeah yeah old linux guy ranting as usual )
I'm waiting for v8c to update from v7f but still I'm very happy to see brand new ( and well documented ) changelogs to browse trough ahead of time (and i mean it).
Am I missing something for the Turbine Generator? The las posts I find for build tutorial are 8 months old.
I have 5 High pressure turbines and the generator will not turn with any of them. It builds and turns into multi-block, bout wont turn for power generation.
Does anyone have a download link for the 8a versions?
Having an archive of older versions etc or a jenkins build site might be useful?
Up until now, I've never seen any indication of past versions; Reika is usually very conscientious about ensuring everyone uses the current version. Normally, this is a good thing. However, in this case, this works against his mods. Still, now that Reika is using Curse, that will likely change.

Browsing through the forum, this seems to be a common problem. Earlier it looked like it was having a problem with a custom Thaumcraft plant.
Let me know if you'd like more information for testing purposes. I'm always happy to help.
v8b still seems to be crashing with computer craft, same error as before. I did try updating open mods/peripherals this time, and also re-downloaded computer craft, but that didn't fix anything. Again, reverting to v7f fixes the crash.

Meh. Doesn't really matter if Linux is supported by curse clients or not. The site itself is a better distribution point for mods, simply because now we're not redirected to a page that asks you to wait for the button to appear. It's only a couple seconds, but it gets annoying. (And I use Linux exclusively)
you must put them in the middle of a infusion ring filled with liquid chroma. then put at least 1 but max 64 purified shards in the stand (right click) and watch the infusion.
In this case, just use v8a until I can release v8c tomorrow.
Also, @keybounce, your idea worked...in the dev environment only.
Using a new routine to do all the tile entity ticking tests? ... Only thing that I know of that differs between dev and normal is obfuscated/srg-ified names. If you accounted for that, then I have no clue.

Well, not just that. Being on Curse means that it'll show how popular the mods are, how often they're downloaded, and still (like ad.fly) give a little bit back to him. I'm not trying to blow up anyone's skirt and say you'll get rich off it, but for a popular mod on CurseForge there IS an incentive program, that eventually should give some monetary reward.
Plus the ease of maintaining mod versions in a pack in the CurseVoice client is pretty slick. If you created it, it'll show you all the mods that have updates, and with 1 click (per mod) update them to the current version. If it's a pack from Curse, you can unlock it and do the same thing, if they're slow to push pack updates.

where to download v8a? on curseforge not have this version...
Hi there,
I am having some difficulties with Chromatic-Craft and Dragon API right now, When-ever I try to run a SSP world I get the following crash:

http://pastebin.com/GFT38530
I had a look at these other reports, the crashes looks similar to mine I am having
Am I missing something for the Turbine Generator? The las posts I find for build tutorial are 8 months old.
I have 5 High pressure turbines and the generator will not turn with any of them. It builds and turns into multi-block, bout wont turn for power generation.
I have all of the version 7 updates.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Common problem.... the bane of individuals who offer support in IT fields...
thnx Reika for the new version but i got this error when i updated: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Reika/DragonAPI/ModInteract/Bees/BasicFlower
class not found exception...
Has anyone an idea how to fix it?
Is this for my question?
What last post?
Where do I find?
Very new to this and trying to learn to fix myself.

I know you're working hard on the update, and a lot of commotion is going on, so I'm just going to leave this here:
