For people wanting some numbers on Hydrokinetics, I upgraded my setup a bit and here are the numbers:
Farming Canola:
7 steam egnines, 115KW (3 for fans, 2 for vacuums, 2 for pumps)
Canola is a 13x9 plot, leaving a 9x9 plot for farming other stuff or increasing canola production.
Grinding Canola:
13 steam engines (12 for grinders, 1 for pump) 213KW
This is 12 grinders and 3 diamond 4:1 gearboxes. I'm redoing all of this with a performance engine or two today.
Hydrokinetics;
27 Hydrokinetics, max water fall. 14156KW
I have a bit of excess canola oil with this, can probably go to 30.
So that is 328KW spent to produce 14.2MW. Seems like a good deal when staying within Rotarycraft.
I will change the default to 31, which is unoccupied.
Heh, perfect, cause that's what we changed ours to.Magnetizing Unit: I personally have never seen a fully functional unit because I just setup my first yesterday, but after talking with Yuki about it, it seems to be very borked. It takes an extremely long time to charge core shafts, and increasing the speed doesn't seem to matter. The only thing that seems to increase it (very very slightly) is to add timers. One user told me that she can't charge her coils at all.
Shaft Core: Currenlty the shaft cores in any AC engine are not repleting microTeslas. This is good because we can't charge them, but it is still broken.
Lubricant bucket: When emptying a lubricant bucket in to portable/ender tank or drum, the bucket is lost.
Magnetizing Unit: I personally have never seen a fully functional unit because I just setup my first yesterday, but after talking with Yuki about it, it seems to be very borked. It takes an extremely long time to charge core shafts, and increasing the speed doesn't seem to matter. The only thing that seems to increase it (very very slightly) is to add timers. One user told me that she can't charge her coils at all.

I don't know if 799 microTeslas is that much but it didn't take me that long to get there. I'm using an industrial coil in that picture but it is only putting out power equivalent to 4 steam engines.

I believe in this case it was a Redlogic timer. But I will pass that along.
I fixed the borer only pulling up stone once it hits ungenerated chunks. Forge automatically generates them, but does not populate them (run the code that generates ores, lakes, trees, sugar cane, et cetera).
The borer now forcibly runs the chunk populator on unpopulated chunks that it runs into.

Two extrautilities clocks alternating work for me on AC engine and Magnetizer unit. Maybe i wasn't getting full efficiency but had no problem powering a fractionation unit with one AC engine and two gearboxes.
Good news on the borer. I've just been moving them regularly. Silktouch really works good, the borer managed to silktouch fire in the Nether.

ThaumCraft crops were added in a version later than the one which I am using.
I don't think it is a thaumcraft-specific crop. Earth Essence makes dirt, clay, leaf blocks, nothing thaumic.
What is the optimum pulse timing for the AC stuff? I just tried a sequencer and using two of its 4 outputs seems to work OK, just wondering what the best timing on it is.
I have a large problem in my base. i was messing around with reactorcraft and i must of had a radiation leak because now where ever i am in my base i have a "Flux taint" buff sort of like poison (im assuming thaumcraft 4 over wrote the radiation buff), but is there a way to clean up my mess? or will i have to move bases? *i hope i dont have to move*

I get Maximum power from an ac engine with two project red timers set to the lowest setting
I don't know any other mod that has a grinder that creates liquids.
although...I think I am going to test the F. Squeezer.
It makes seed oil.
Also, there is a minor bug in the RC jetpacks. On servers, you will need to set the config option "Conservative Jetpack Firing" to false, or players wearing it will be kicked.
