Ok, so do I understand it correctly when I say you need to build the Atmospheric Lumen Broadcast Frame around an existing Crystal Pylon?
I'm just in a creative world so that I can best experience how amazing your mod is in all freedom. In that spirit, I'm trying to build a Lumen Purification Obelisk, without really knowing what it does, but as you said so often in your Tour-videos: "whatever" :D, but erm, I'm pretty sure I built it correctly but the Lumen Clarifier doesn't seem to transform into that glowy bubble shown in the Lexicon. Can this particular Obelisk be built? Is there anything I need to pay attention to when buildling this?
I've seen your "new beacon effects" video from two years ago, is this still current? Do these effects still occur? If so, I can assume I must've built it wrong.
Those occur on energy transfer, not randomly.

Hello. I'm having a problem with my ReactorCraft High Pressure Turbines and getting them to start. I'm using ReactorCraft v26b on Minecraft 1.7.10 with the latest Forge. I constructed a fission reactor with the setup being the first attachment. I then fed the steam into a High Pressure Turbine. This is all on a private server I run for myself so my ender quarry can work while I'm sleeping. It worked great and the HPT fed shaft power into a turbine generator to make Electricraft power for all my machines. I left the server running for a couple days and then checked in. Upon not being immediately inundated with machine noises, I checked my turbine, which was not functioning. Upon examining the steam lines, I determined that it stopped working because it had no more steam. The reactor itself had run out of fuel, so I assumed that was the problem. I applied a redstone signal to the turbine, and then refueled the reactor. However, the turbine will not start.
I let steam build up in the pipes but the turbine will still not turn. I have over 100,000 mB of lubricant per block according to my angular transducer, but it wouldn't turn. It rapidly depletes all the steam in the steam lines but fails to animate or generate any power. I let the steam build up to 1000 m^3 per block, and still nothing. I let it build up to 5000 m^3 and it still wouldn't turn. At this point, I decided to destroy the entire turbine and build a new one. After breaking every block in the turbine and the last block of steam line, I constructed a new one consisting of steam bypass + 1 layer of the 'main' HPT. It assembled and began filling with lubricant. After filling, I removed the redstone signal. It began generating a huge amount of water particles from the end (it looked different from the normal dripping) but didn't actually turn. I then constructed a second layer of the HPT. It now exhibits exactly the same problem as the first turbine. It consumes steam very rapidly (over 1000 m^3 of steam in a few seconds) but fails to actually turn or generate power. I've attached the setup in my second attachment.
What causes this behavior? I'm not using any HTGR blocks and the reactor configuration wasn't changed from when it was working.
EDIT FROM 9/9/2020: I did a little more testing the following day. After restarting the server, I attempted to start the HPT. It did not start up, but it didn't consume any steam either. After examining the steam lines, the reactor source types had no source listed afterwards. After starting up my fission reactor to produce a little more steam, it now says FISSION: 100.0% as before, and the earlier behavior has resumed.
I've been searching everywhere (starting with the RotaryCraft in-game manual), and I can't find any info on either the Integrated Redstone Upgrade or the Permanent Magnet Upgrade.
I have at least figured out that the permanent magnet is used on the magnetizing unit- but to what effect?
Does the integrated redstone allow machines to be toggled on/off without the use of a clutch? (seems like that would contradict the mechanical nature of the mod)
Hello, I'm curious if anyone might have an idea what's causing my centrifuge to think it's a 50's pulsar... It's very unsettling. Google Drive video link
Yeah, it appears to vary depending on the actual shaft speed of the input. I set it to a value that showed more clearly the kind of motion that was going on, instead of looking like some kind of weird vertex artifacting as it would at certain speeds. At some speeds with higher total power, the centrifuge body would actually get so large that it was poking through my walls... It's extremely disturbing.
I should note that this has been happening since I updated from an older version of the mod, I believe a V25 iteration. I was looking for the old mod version backup but I haven't found it yet - I just remember it starting to happen with this current V26b iteration.

This only happens for some people, and in some cases only some of the time. It continues to make no sense.

Oh goodness, that actually made me laugh out loud for some reason
Is there any information I can provide that might help you investigate it? Such as a list of the mods I have or any kind of logs, or the speed and power going into the centrifuge or what it's doing - maybe even a video showing a full power cycle of the LP turbine driving the drive train the centrifuge is connected to
I'll meanwhile see if I can figure out any repeatable behavior on my own
Also just a random question purely out of curiosity - What is the reason or decision making behind making the animations for all the machinery I've seen so far (like gears/shafts, grinders, centrifuges and low/high pressure turbines) what appears to be about 20 animation steps per second? Is that related to the minecraft engine tick rate by chance?

The fact that the animations update with the tile tick might have something to do with it.

Noone has ever provided any information that led to a meaningful insight which was not immediately disproven by contrary example.

So far the only repeatable observation I've made is that the visual anomaly seems to happen (and get progressively more severe) as the tick rate fluctuates - I don't actually know if there's a separate client side tick rate when connected to a standalone server, but I notice it happens and worsens when the turbine's sound repeat point gets offset by fluctuating tick rate.
please update your mods at the 1.12.2 version pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaase
sadly, he will not listen to you, i think too that a 1.12 port would be the best for that cost/benefit ratio that reika handle (since 1.13+ is splitted by the battle of APIs, there are enough changes in the basecode of minecraft between minor versions to make 1.16.1 mods and 1.16.2 mods incompatible, and his issues with 1.8 are worst in 1.13+, like being many times harder to render things like the ones he make and the hell of .json files, 4 of them for just a single cube!)
but just the time will tell us what he will do, i still wishing to see that post where he tells to the community that he is moving to 1.12 (and maybe confirm this with github commits)
i need to admit that reika has a lot of talent designing mods, but it would be amazing to have them in 1.12, i readed what you wrote in the post of jellysquid, if you ever have troubles to make a dev environment (in 1.12) i can help you, i solved the issue

The Integrated Redstone Upgrade is an upgrade that can be applied to the AC Electric Engine and the Magnetizing Unit that will remove the need for an exterior redstone clock for the machines to operate.
The Permanent Magnet Upgrade is an upgrade that can be applied to the Magnetizing Unit that will greatly boost its efficiency, reducing the amount of power required to get the same amount of operation speed. It will require half as much power to get to a 1 operation per tick speed.
Hi Reika, I have some problems in the comaticraft dimension that i cannot find a solution for: I've progressed normaly in the mod, and build the portal to the dimension as stated in the Chromic Lexicon. However, i don't get drops form certein blocks in the dimension, like Aura Blooms or Energized Rocks. I also cannot access the diffrent structures inside the dimension, as their biome is blocked by some type of barrier. I alredy /deop myself, as i had read on the issues page that operators couldn't do anything in the dimension.

How exactly does Armor Breach in ChromatiCraft work? I'm playing on a server with ChromatiCraft v26b alongside Draconic Evolution, Thaumcraft, and some other mods. The enchantment description reads like it's meant to bypass draconic armor or runic shielding, but it doesn't seem to do so. I enchanted a diamond sword with Armor Breach IV, and then had someone hit me with it. It only clanged off my draconic shield, and did no heart damage. I then took off my draconic armor, and it also steadily reduced my runic shield without doing any damage to my hearts. Am I missing something? The other person has next to no progression in ChromatiCraft. Does she require ChromatiCraft knowledge to activate the enchantment?

The enchantment only makes it bypass normal armor, though I like the idea of making it bypass those as well...

Perhaps the description of the enchantment could be reworded to not give the impression that it does? Right now, it gives the impression that you can partially (but not totally) bypass it.
Yes, but that structure and function is incomplete and will never be finished, as its function has been totally supplanted.
Those occur on energy transfer, not randomly.

Mine has been doing that too, but much faster.
