I have a random, perhaps silly question. I'm really happy that you now have the option to basically 'upgrade' your Solar Tower to cycle molten sodium instead of consuming copious amount of water. Does anyone know by chance if it's possible to use the same equipment (sodium cycler, sodium heat exchanger) to "cycle" water the same way instead of continuously demanding new water?
I am at the moment working on testing how much energy i can get out of my fusion reactor and I have a problem figuring out how much turbines I need it looks like 1/4 of my reactor needs more than 2 high pressure turbines. Is there a way to measure how much steam I produce and does someone know the ammount of steam a high pressure turbine consumes and is it possible to void such ammounts of steam easilly?
It's very tricky to get any kind of precise measurement of steam. I do have a general rule for the Tokamak though that gets you close enough: 4 HPTs per Injector.
Some general helpful tips are to keep your steam lines as short as possible, and to connect them in a ring. Also, break a steam line just before the HPTs before turning the reactor on. This will build a reserve of steam to reach the trigger point for the HPT to actually run. ( They always consume steam, but only produce power when the steam is over I think 50mb. The closer you get to the max number of HPTs, the longer it can take before they start running. )
There's no reason really to void steam, as the lines have such a large possible storage that excess is fine. If you really want to for testing, the easiest method to get it all out is break and replace the lines. Alternatively you can use pumps to get most all of it out to a side line which you then just break that 1 or so line. ( This is also one of the main methods to try to calculate steam production. Produce steam for a fair amount of time, since the reaction has a fair bit of RNG, then shut it off and pump to a side line. Look how much is in there, and divide by time. )
1: Can it make anything other than cobblestone? I was hoping to have it make obsidian, but no idea how...
2: Can it be turned off without breaking it? It's so fast, it filled my cobble storage almost right away.
It can also make smooth stone if it has a heat lily under it, and crystalline stone if given lava and liquid chroma. 2 stacks per bucket of lava/chroma when fully upgraded with enrichment vines. As for turning it off, the typical way of doing this is to have a piston cover up one of its liquid sources.

Even if i shut they down with a redstone signal?
And if i use Ammonia and want them Back it Just get Voided?

Does it consume the lava and chroma? Also, how many enrichment vines can affect one plant?

It does. If the liquid is placed in-world, then it has a random chance of being consumed each cycle. However, if it's in a RoC reservoir, then it'll consume a specific number of mb's per operation. In the case of crystalline stone, it consumes 500 mb per stack with 6 enrichment vines, which is the max. (more than that won't make a difference)
Even if i shut they down with a redstone signal?

Redstone signal should completely disable it. I meant more like warm-up time. They start consuming the steam at like 20mb, but it doesn't actually put out power until 50. ( And if you let them wind down, they'll consume back down to 20ish as well. ) So, from 20 to 50, you are basically just voiding steam, and making it take longer to start up. So, I absolutely recommend either using redstone to turn them off, or disconnecting steam lines, or something. In the case of a Tokamak, it can be the difference between getting power in a few seconds, or taking over 10 minutes for all HPTs to turn on.
It's one of the ores that reveal themselves after you have the progression for it.
NEI shows them.
Turns out none of the ores have "ore" in their name. New question: I can't craft the Crystal Repeater! What research do I need? (not progression) http://imgur.com/a/EqzgT
PS: why is there no good wiki for your mods, Reika-sama?

Combination of things, including not being hugely popular, and that things change a fair bit. Especially Chromaticraft as it's the mod still in major development.
Your mods are my #1 go-to. They are really great ideas. I love strategically building and not just "chuck 100 gold in machine to get supercrazypowergen" and these mods, especially Reactorcraft, are just perfect. Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks for your response. I use Comparators to turn the turbine on if the battery is nearly empty.
the second question:
If i use Ammonia steam and the turbine is in the "Startup mode" can i get the ammonia back below the turbine or is it just voided?
The blocks below the center pillars are embossed crystalline, not engraved.

Two questions regarding the Coalescence Orchid:
1: Can it make anything other than cobblestone? I was hoping to have it make obsidian, but no idea how...
2: Can it be turned off without breaking it? It's so fast, it filled my cobble storage almost right away.

I made my own shader pack, by the way.
Just curious: Are the 1.10.2 versions of the mods on their way? I'm hoping to add them to my pack.
Even if i shut they down with a redstone signal?
And if i use Ammonia and want them Back it Just get Voided?
Nope. Still 1.7.10.

How do I get Lumenite? There's no Info Fragment for it, and I need 2 of it for the Crystal Repeater!

Not sure what you mean by the second question.
None of the ores are in the Creative menu, and I don't know what it looks like!

I was merely asking if they were being worked on, not for an ETA.
