Thanks for your patience and the quick response. You're right, ReactorCraft wasn't to blame. I've discovered the problem is a block ID conflict that occurs when a solid block uses the same ID as a liquid (it wasn't clear from the logs that it was a block ID conflict). Changing the IDs resolved the problem.
Any idea why my boring machines keep stopping? I've got 2 running w/ 131k torque each on the ceiling of the nether collecting bedrock dust, and every now and then they'll stop and play that awful clanking sound that suggests i dont have enough torque. But then if i go over to the end of the mining pipes they start right back up again. Don't really understand what's wrong
Hello.
I'm trying to build a closed cycle reactor, but keep running into problem then i loose pressure in pipes under the boilers which eventually lead to overheating. I tried to use two pressurizers and pair of tubes transfers ammonia down to boilers with no effect. It looks like liquid moving to slow in pipes so most of it accumulates after pressurizers (~300 kPa versus ~100 kPa before boilers), or pressurizers have to low performance. Btw, i have 12 boilers and 8 cores, pressurizers receiving power from induction motor and 2 8:1 gearboxes connected trough 5 Amps resistor to generator which connected to turbine directly.
Discovered a duplication problem. I have Infernal Mobs installed. If a mob has the "sticky" prefix, which causes the weapon you attack it with to be removed from your hand and dropped to the ground, and you attack it with a gravel gun, the gravel gun, and the coil inside it, are duplicated. That is to say, one copy of it will still be in your hand, while another will be thrown to the ground.
If anybody has something like Ars Magica 2 installed, would you be willing to run a test using the "Disarm" spell to see if the gravel gun gets duplicated via that methodology as well?

The pressurizer does not actually build pressure in the pipes; it merely repressurizes the fluid. If you have long lengths of pipe, you likely need more liquid throughput.
Unfortunately, one problem has cropped up today.
I've set up a pebble bed reactor feeding steam to two turbines. Their output is fed into two induction generators from electricraft. The current is then carried by a loooooong cable (~400 Blocks) into three aurora batteries.
My problem is that I get massive tick rate problems with this setup. OPIS tells me that the two induction generators use up 0.3s each (318000µms).
Further experimenting (using only one generator, only one battery, moving a battery to the generator) seems to indicate that the problem is maybe not the generator itself, but the length of the cable. Funnily enough, using the setup one generator -> long cable -> one battery leads to much lower tick rates (130ms total). Adding a second battery yields 170ms, a third one 220ms. Moving one battery to the generator and then piping its output across 400 blocks to the other two did not change much.
Is there any hope that this kind of setup might be possible, maybe after an update, or should I totally scrap it and move to tesseracts? Would be a shame, I kind of like my access tunnel (which already contains an ME cable and redstone energy conduits of similar length without issues)
Wire length should have no impact on performance, and ElectriCraft was designed to be as light as possible on the server load. How that can generate a 300ms lag - which is insanely bad, considering a tick is supposed to last 50ms - is beyond me. That is performance drop that should make the entire server crash.

Hey Reika, could you register your hsla steel block in the ore dictionary? I've got like 4 steel blocks in my pack and there's no way to craft yours when i've got the easy steel config enabled

As what? blockSteel? I do not think that will fix the recipe overlap.

If you want to craft other mods items with hsla steel there is config option for it. You can enable it, then disable easy steel option, and switch to hsla steel only :). I did that myself.
I like to leave the easy steel config on and that would let me use the unifier or automatic dictionary converter to change between whichever steel block i want
Edit: Or maybe add a worktable recipe for your steel block? I just don't like not being able to craft/obtain it without spawning one in or changing my configs
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?

I will do that to allow craftability, but it will not be usable by automated systems like MACs.

Awesome
Loving the Bedrock scythe btw, didn't even notice it in NEI until this morning
Something i noticed also, AE Certus Quartz and your Certus Quartz Gem have different ore dictionary names, made me have to make a cyclic assembler instead of letting me unify like most of the other rotarycraft version gems.

I do not support automatic unifiers because they more often break things than fix them.

Well lets pretend i didn't mention the unifier and was just pointing out a small discrepancy between ore dictionary names just for the sake of correctness then.

Is it not registered as gemCertusQuartz?

Where can I view a changelog of GeoStrata, or any of your mods for that matter? It's hard to know what to report from old versions (like enhanced purple crystal pendant not giving XP) or even to find out if they are in fact working as intended and I'm looking for the wrong effect.

Try supplying more.

Do they have different charge values?
Fixed, along with the plutonium bug.

Looks like everything will be bee'd now.

No, this is native to RC.

Also according to Opis, there are several Electricraft generators on my map using >2ms each, sure is laggy in here.
