Reika, would you be averse to changing the diamond in the Enhanced Crystal Pendant to a Nether Star? With RotaryCraft, you can just silk touch a Skeleton spawner, put in in the Nether, and have enough skulls for a Wither in a minute, and it only gets faster the more spawners you have. A constant, portable tier 4 effect should be something you work hard for and have to choose which one you want, but I was still in the very early game when I got every single one. It doesn't feel very rewarding right now.

There's a bit of wiggle room that differs from person to person on how difficult something should be to obtain, which is where we're at odds.
Would having to use multiple crystals to make a pendant work instead? The fact that you can get these crystals in 2-3 hours in a new world if you've got a general idea of what you're doing just doesn't sit right with me.

But I ran into an issue with the Toroid Magnet's not accepting a charge off the VDG Generator (I understand how they work, got one powering the magnetic lines for plasma, which I've produced and am storing in ME system by the thousands :P, and have 4 on electrolyzers).
Any server plugins/settings that would not allow this connect only to the Toroid's? I tried it in the nether+twilight+ect and it works fine, only in the overworld is there an issue.
Could we get a config option to change how much power the defense guns take to operate and/or the option for whether they need it at all? I feel they are pretty high and makes it impossible to defend my home area for quite a long time. This is compounded by the fact that meteors tend to strike near the player and you spend a lot of time at home...or at least I do.

After a bit of thought, multiple crystals didn't sound very feasible since this is a portable pendant and those crystals are one big block. I wanted to incorporate a bit more risk into gathering the resources for it, since the riskiest thing to get was glowstone, which honestly is still very safe and easy to get. This is what I've come up with right now.
I wanted to try and do this with existing items, since good balance is working with what you have instead of creating superfluous parts. I kept the symmetrical design, but now you have to fight tough enemies to get some of the resources. Nether Quartz is about as common as coal, so I replaced that. Glowstone is also plentiful and easy to gather, so I replaced that too. The Eye of Ender has more magical properties than a plain ender pearl, and requires a bit more time spent fighting Blazes, so I used those instead of a basic Ender Pearl. Blaze rods for a similar reason, plus their coloration and shape lends weight to the texture of the pendant. And doubled the diamonds to keep the recipe shape the same while also slightly increasing the cost.
Let me know what you think of it, as well as any criticisms. My main goal is to try and make it so that people will value these pendants more, and not take them for granted.

I am going to replace the blaze rods with gold ingots, as the framing on the pendant is gold, not blaze rod.

Not sure if build error's are even a possibility. Placing a single Toroid with a VDG under it in another dimension, and it works fine. The VDG arch's at the player and builds up rather fast (and my sheep pen 20~ blocks away >.<), but doesn't arch against the Toroid.

Do you have any inter-toroid charge transfer at all?
Only thing I would hope you'd consider though, is I've seen several of your mod's disabled on servers because of being to OP (IE, Dye Tree's disabled, because they couldn't disable the 15k Dye, 4 stacks golden apples, 1 stack Super Gold block Apples... Rainbow tree; Disabled Geostrata (after world gen >.<) because they couldn't nerf the Purple Crystals, ect).
If they are going to disable entire mods because they consider a few hundred dye - not 15K - or a rare XP crystal OP, they are not someone I would ever be able to reason with.

My design below seems to be working well to provide basic power.P.S. yes I realize that i don't have enough torque to run both extractors at that speed which is why there's a straight shaft there that is hidden, i just didn't remove the other extractor.

I wanted to try and do this with existing items, since good balance is working with what you have instead of creating superfluous parts. I kept the symmetrical design, but now you have to fight tough enemies to get some of the resources. Nether Quartz is about as common as coal, so I replaced that. Glowstone is also plentiful and easy to gather, so I replaced that too. The Eye of Ender has more magical properties than a plain ender pearl, and requires a bit more time spent fighting Blazes, so I used those instead of a basic Ender Pearl. Blaze rods for a similar reason, plus their coloration and shape lends weight to the texture of the pendant. And doubled the diamonds to keep the recipe shape the same while also slightly increasing the cost.
Let me know what you think of it, as well as any criticisms. My main goal is to try and make it so that people will value these pendants more, and not take them for granted.
Do you have the toroids properly rotated?
I am going to replace the blaze rods with gold ingots, as the framing on the pendant is gold, not blaze rod.
I've seen the video you made, and at the very least the Toroid above the VDG should be charging (given enough power)
Not sure if build error's are even a possibility. Placing a single Toroid with a VDG under it in another dimension, and it works fine. The VDG arch's at the player and builds up rather fast (and my sheep pen 20~ blocks away >.<), but doesn't arch against the Toroid.

Great set of mods though, I look forward to future content. Only thing I would hope you'd consider though, is I've seen several of your mod's disabled on servers because of being to OP (IE, Dye Tree's disabled, because they couldn't disable the 15k Dye, 4 stacks golden apples, 1 stack Super Gold block Apples... Rainbow tree; Disabled Geostrata (after world gen >.<) because they couldn't nerf the Purple Crystals, ect).
Do you have any inter-toroid charge transfer at all?
If they are going to disable entire mods because they consider a few hundred dye - not 15K - or a rare XP crystal OP, they are not someone I would ever be able to reason with.

Not sure if you saw this. They should be the same thing, unless there's different types of ethanol? I'm not sure if a direct conversion would invalidate Forestry's ethanol, or if you get around the same amount with the same inputs.
Also, I'd like to get started with ElectriCraft; what resources would you recommend I look at? I saw that to control how much energy went out, you had to use resistor color codes, which I'm not familiar with (but will look into), and there might be some other concepts I'll need to know.
Lastly, does anyone have some screenshots of very basic reactor set ups for Reactor Craft? I'm getting to the point where I need a bit more power, but I'm absolutely horrible at constructing these things efficiently just based off of the block's description.
