This only happens for some people, and in some cases only some of the time. It continues to make no sense.
Oh goodness, that actually made me laugh out loud for some reason
Is there any information I can provide that might help you investigate it? Such as a list of the mods I have or any kind of logs, or the speed and power going into the centrifuge or what it's doing - maybe even a video showing a full power cycle of the LP turbine driving the drive train the centrifuge is connected to
I'll meanwhile see if I can figure out any repeatable behavior on my own
Also just a random question purely out of curiosity - What is the reason or decision making behind making the animations for all the machinery I've seen so far (like gears/shafts, grinders, centrifuges and low/high pressure turbines) what appears to be about 20 animation steps per second? Is that related to the minecraft engine tick rate by chance?

The fact that the animations update with the tile tick might have something to do with it.

Noone has ever provided any information that led to a meaningful insight which was not immediately disproven by contrary example.

So far the only repeatable observation I've made is that the visual anomaly seems to happen (and get progressively more severe) as the tick rate fluctuates - I don't actually know if there's a separate client side tick rate when connected to a standalone server, but I notice it happens and worsens when the turbine's sound repeat point gets offset by fluctuating tick rate.
please update your mods at the 1.12.2 version pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaase
sadly, he will not listen to you, i think too that a 1.12 port would be the best for that cost/benefit ratio that reika handle (since 1.13+ is splitted by the battle of APIs, there are enough changes in the basecode of minecraft between minor versions to make 1.16.1 mods and 1.16.2 mods incompatible, and his issues with 1.8 are worst in 1.13+, like being many times harder to render things like the ones he make and the hell of .json files, 4 of them for just a single cube!)
but just the time will tell us what he will do, i still wishing to see that post where he tells to the community that he is moving to 1.12 (and maybe confirm this with github commits)
i need to admit that reika has a lot of talent designing mods, but it would be amazing to have them in 1.12, i readed what you wrote in the post of jellysquid, if you ever have troubles to make a dev environment (in 1.12) i can help you, i solved the issue
I've been searching everywhere (starting with the RotaryCraft in-game manual), and I can't find any info on either the Integrated Redstone Upgrade or the Permanent Magnet Upgrade.
I have at least figured out that the permanent magnet is used on the magnetizing unit- but to what effect?
Does the integrated redstone allow machines to be toggled on/off without the use of a clutch? (seems like that would contradict the mechanical nature of the mod)
The Integrated Redstone Upgrade is an upgrade that can be applied to the AC Electric Engine and the Magnetizing Unit that will remove the need for an exterior redstone clock for the machines to operate.
The Permanent Magnet Upgrade is an upgrade that can be applied to the Magnetizing Unit that will greatly boost its efficiency, reducing the amount of power required to get the same amount of operation speed. It will require half as much power to get to a 1 operation per tick speed.
Hi Reika, I have some problems in the comaticraft dimension that i cannot find a solution for: I've progressed normaly in the mod, and build the portal to the dimension as stated in the Chromic Lexicon. However, i don't get drops form certein blocks in the dimension, like Aura Blooms or Energized Rocks. I also cannot access the diffrent structures inside the dimension, as their biome is blocked by some type of barrier. I alredy /deop myself, as i had read on the issues page that operators couldn't do anything in the dimension.

How exactly does Armor Breach in ChromatiCraft work? I'm playing on a server with ChromatiCraft v26b alongside Draconic Evolution, Thaumcraft, and some other mods. The enchantment description reads like it's meant to bypass draconic armor or runic shielding, but it doesn't seem to do so. I enchanted a diamond sword with Armor Breach IV, and then had someone hit me with it. It only clanged off my draconic shield, and did no heart damage. I then took off my draconic armor, and it also steadily reduced my runic shield without doing any damage to my hearts. Am I missing something? The other person has next to no progression in ChromatiCraft. Does she require ChromatiCraft knowledge to activate the enchantment?

The enchantment only makes it bypass normal armor, though I like the idea of making it bypass those as well...

Perhaps the description of the enchantment could be reworded to not give the impression that it does? Right now, it gives the impression that you can partially (but not totally) bypass it.
Hi. I installed Your chromaticraft mod and am playing it with a friend. We wanted to link knowledge using a pedestal (Knowledgeable Entanglement pedestrian), but did not understand to do it. Could you explain how to do this? We built the structure.
P.S. Thank you in advance

One person stands on it, the other "activates" it.
That is not even a thing in 1.7.10, and would at any rate require a total mod rewrite.
Well, that's true but have you thought about updating your Mods to a newer version of minecraft using the fabric loader?
Since updating your mods to a newer version would require a total rewrite anyway, fabric may be the better loader to choose as the initial amount of work would be the same as with forge and updating the mods to futher minecraft versions wouldn't require an total rewrite anymore.
I know this is nothing which is happening in the near future because to rewrite your mods would take an enormous amount of time and i'm not sure it would be worth for you to rewrite them... but i would be glad to read a few thoughts from you about updating to a new version with fabric.

I'll save you the trouble: he's not updating. People ask this question basically every couple days.
I have mixed feelings about it myself; on the one hand, of course it's a bit of a bummer, but on the other hand, it means that all of the time he spends modding goes towards actually polishing/expanding his mods instead of chasing version updates.

Is this discord still active? If yes, is it possible to get a new link?

Any "quick" fix for HP Turbines? Cuz i stuck for 5 month in my world and can`t go any further...
One is coming with the next release.
Is there any chance you're moving from Forge to Fabric Modloader?

It is done correctly, but really, nothing happens. Am I missing some progression?
