I've already broken the problem of the lubricant barrier for my gearboxes (i need none), and iron is a bountiful resource. Ethanol is too easy to make IMO.
I do not know why the fluid type matters.
But as of now Liquid Nitrogen is the only fluid out of 8 different fluid that is not being read correctly (lubricant and jetfuel both work fine).
Also, I do not know if you have fixed it or not Reika, but IC2 keeps disconnecting from your generators and motors on restart of the server. I have to replace the generator or motor from Rotary to make it connect again.
I've been thinking on the change to the bedrock breaker.
Honestly, its already difficult (and dangerous) to get bedrock (gas engine). The bump to 8MW is difficult enough, but now we're talking almost 8x the RF/t used to do this if you go the magnetostatic route. Just make it use lubricant and cap the break range if you really want to make it difficult. This at least forces folks to reposition their breakers AND feed it lubricant.
I have enough difficulty as well hitting the required temp for tungsten processing. This alone is a chore in itself even after playing your mod for so long.

With the new power limits on the Rotational Dynamo, would it be possible to allow the Gas Turbine to used with the Turbine Generator? Otherwise, I think to fully convert the 67.1MW to RF you'd need 68 dynamos(and assorted shafts, junctions and RF cabling), which would be a bit of a nightmare to find room for.
This is a conflict between AM2, and Chromaticraft I beleive. Unfortunately, i can't find the AM2 potion Ids, so just go to the reika configs and set them to number under 256, but high enough that you can ensure no more conflicts. I use 180

GENERATION 25: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.
The server I recently became staff for started using ReactorCraft v4c (on MC 1.7.10) and for some odd reason none of us can get the fusion reactor to work properly. We don't know what we're doing wrong and would love some help. I also apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to post this, because I don't know where to post it otherwise, so please correct me if I'm wrong.
None the less, here's a Screenie of what we've got goin on.
For some odd reason the plasma just shoots straight out instead of following the Toroid Magnets. I initially thought that the modpack we are using was causing the issue so I copied them into regular minecraft with forge installed and the same issue still exists.
Thank you in advance for any help or comments that any of you have

I'm trying to power an AE Energy Acceptor (connected to a charger) with Rotarycraft, with no luck. I've tried a Gasoline Engine with shaft going into the Energy Acceptor. Also did some tests in creative with industrial coil. If I use a buildcraft creative engine, no problem. But I'm getting nothing from the Rotarycraft power sources. Any trick I should know here? Thanks for your help.

Last I heard, they still use the old RC API.

So I started playing with Chromaticraft today. Rather, I tried to start playing with Chromaticraft today. While I bet that there's plenty of explanation of specific items and mechanics, there's not really any clear guide on what to do to get started or where to progress next. For example there's not really any proper explanation of how the Lexicon actually works - it took quite a bit of digging around online to even find that you shift-right click to place fragments in it. It also isn't clear what the two tabs on the right do: the top one seems to be clues for what to do next, but I have the fragment about crystal energy that discusses the different colors but the clue about identifying all the colors still isn't completed, and even after dying repeatedly the clue about death doesn't complete. The bottom tab on the right at first appears to tell you what new fragments are available, but it isn't clear what to do with the fragments that appear there. An indication that the arrow keys can be used to move around would be helpful as well (though perhaps it should also be possible to move with the mouse and the scroll wheel as is typical for other mods I've used). Finally, it isn't explained whether the upgraded crafting structures can be used instead of the lower-tier ones.
(Also, how does one get through the shielding cloaks?)
Quote from Optimatumjump the clue about identifying all the colors still isn't completed, and even after dying repeatedly the clue about death doesn't complete.
Colors must be discovered via their pylons, and the death one requires that you die with large amounts of energy on you.

You can.

Tell that to Thermal Expansion's Tesseracts
Regardless, I feel already bedrock is already quite hard to acquire, but too easy to keep getting.
May I ask what is the motivation behind this potential change?
Also, May I suggest something to make the Gas Turbine Engine's a bit more... Real?
I've come across folks on other servers, who've put block walls in front of the engine. Essentially encasing it with 1 block of airspace around the intake. Sure people and mobs get stuck on the blocks, but they use it as a form of mob harvesting as well. Although ingenious, its kinda hard to pull objects with a vacuum when no air can pass through and also why we need some sort of "check" to see if there is sufficient air space.

Do you have an idea how to check that without lagging the game?

In addition to what Reika mentioned: Try to verify that the LN2 is getting into the toroids ( WAILA is great for this. ) The charge should be pretty obvious. If the arcs are making it all the way around, you're good. ( You can even have like 5 toroids at the lowest color, black, and still be ok. )
Try placing a Tokomak Blueprint directly under the Solenoid Hub ( Where the input shaft is. ) to verify alignment on everything. The arrows from the Toroids should point IN.
Make sure the Solenoid is spinning. ( 32768 N/M and 256 r/s. Don't go over that. You have to go pretty high on the speed, but if you do run it too high, it all goes bye bye in a very bad way. )
Try spinning the toroids all the way around, starting with the first ones the plasma enters. This can reset the toroid and get them to recognize everything is working. It will be pretty obvious if this is working, as you get close to all the way around the plasma will get bent by the toroid and shoot off in a new direction. Turning them either clockwise or counter-clockwise works.
Have you watched this video:
It's very easy to get one magnet out of alignment or backwards. I haven't built a fusion reactor myself so i don't know all the pitfalls or if what i am about to say still applies but, does the sparks from the tesla coils or whatever they were reach all the way around the loop? If they stop somewhere then that's where your misaligned magnet is, nearby...
The image they have shows the plasma never getting bent, so it's probably not that. They would need to have at least 4 toroids out of aligment. ( The first 2 toroids after each injector are in line, so both would need to be facing the wrong way. ) Also, you can be off by 1 click, and it'll still kind of work. ( It'll bend the plasma, but possibly not into the next toroid. There's a set progression you can see in the code. This is why my micro reactors work with significantly less toroids. ) They can also often work if they are around 180 degrees off, though they send the plasma back the other way as well.
You should definitely build a fusion reactor. It's a lot of fun. Especially trying to make it better than the most basic designs, like you see in virtually all of the videos and such.
Reika, you're probably aware of this, but with JUST DragonAPI v4c, LegacyCraft v4a, and Minechem 5.0.5.393 (same with .387) I crash due an NPE, that only happens (300+ w/o LegacyCraft okay, but put LegacyCraft and Minechem together...)
