My picture looks like a cute little... thing... but inside ima demon wanting to rule the world!!!!!! Will you add a super boss that is like the asmodi pinky mix that instead of arthropod legs wings and shoots hellfire balls that completely obliterates everything?
The Pinkies only spawn as Animals in the Nether so I don't think they bottleneck the Nether spawns, but I'll look into it. They do attack Pigmen on sight which is a good way to 'despawn' them because they normally go through a couple of Pigmen then get killed themselves which works out ok.
The CaptainSparklez vid shows them hating on pigmen pretty clearly. Pinkies shouldn't be a problem.

I've got two demon mobs left to add, one is already modelled but it is a flying mob and it turns out I've got a lot of code to go over in order to implement my own flying AI, once I've done that, the updates should be a lot more frequent again, I like to get a new mob out every 2-3 days if I can!

Good good! Mob spawning can be quite annoying at times, I have my own set of mods that I use and Mo' Creatures + Project Zulu requires a lot of management!
Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.
New Mob: The Nether Soul! A flying melee mob that explodes on death! The explosion is small and not too damaging but in groups or at heights in the lava filled Nether these can be dangerous!
Increased the attack range of the Belph and Behemoth.
The Asmodi have a 4x longer range and their attacks (Devil Stars) don't drop allowing them to shoot much more accurately.
Improved the base classes a lot which means a lot of these mobs now share a lot of code with each other making updates and bug fixes easier.
Built a flying mob system with a little help from the Project Zulu source code!
Many more tweaks to improve the mobs overall.
Fixed various drops (such as Trites dropping Raw Beef).
New update looks good, when the last one's done we'll get a new pack

Mmm thanks for the cookie lol! Just finished the Cacodemon's attack the Demonic Lightning Blast, it's a big and slow ball of purple lightning that spits out little sparks in random directions as it travels, so a projectile that fires projectiles!

The Pinkies seem to be getting there butts kicked by the zombie pigmen though. I have seen 2 and 3 Pinkies get slaughtered by one pigman. Since they are the aggressor they should be a tad stronger.

Yeah, I'm reassessing all of the mob's health and attack now, last time I tested them without armor, but now I'm going to test them on Normal with a full Iron set and up their attack and health, they then should handle one or two pigmen easily without being to strong for players.
Another minor update (also I think the 0.1.9 file was a copy of 0.1.8!)
Increased the health of various mobs.
Added the projectile which the Cacodemon will use when it is added, the Demonic Lightning Blast! It slowly drifts forwards and spits out smaller sparks in random directions.
Devilstar Charges should now rapid fire out of dispensers for 5 seconds.
I haven't really played Duke Nukem, some of the alien mobs look interesting so I might base something off their design but otherwise most of the mobs are too technological/alien for this mod.

The lost souls model feels out of place in the Minecraft world, if you could cube it more I feel like it would feel less like a Quake model and more like a Minecraft model.
New Mob Added: The final Demon Mob for now, the Cacodemon!
The Asmodi will now light up when attacking, also all projectiles will now light up.
Fixed a bug: The Nether Soul had the same entity ID as the Asmodi which may have caused issues.
Fixed a bug: The secondary texture of the demon eggs was too dark so its colors couldn't be made out easily. I've also recolored to the eggs.
Fixed a bug: I've halved the Asmodi's attack speed because it had weird issues that 'jammed' it's attack, because of this, its attack damage has doubled.
Fixed a bug: The Nether Soul shouldn't spin around as much when staying in one spot and isn't as shaky, it should also look at it's target when attacking nicely now.
Cool! Im not complaining, maybe mo creatures guy used the same way from photos. I could try to make photorealistic textures for your mobs from scratch. Praise the photoshop. I can make you something unique once you are decided to add non-doom mob. If you want.
Well I've finished the Doom Demons for now so I might have a few textures you could help me with possibly soon.

Asmodi could have a cube head/brain and a glass casing around it not 100% doom canon but it would look nice and the Lost Soul could be 2 boxes one for the mouth and the other for the rest of the head if you add too many cubes it looks more like Cube world and less like Minecraft.

Yeah, fortunately the models are now done in Blender and exported as Objs, so remodeling them is quite easy, I've just got to line up some of the vertices to remove the amount of curves the model has an it should look more Minecrafty!
