Pinkies can now be farmed! They no longer despawn and can be bred by feeding them live Cows, Pigs or Sheep! This also means Baby Pinkies!
Pinkies now drop Pinky Meat. Raw Pinky meat restores a good amount of hunger but has a high chance of causing a wither effect. Cooked Pinky Meat restores more hunger than Chicken but less than Beef and also grants a Strength Boost!
Demon Spawn Eggs have been added under the Lycanites Mobs creative tab. The vanilla style eggs can still be found under the Misc Tab.
Hellfire is now fully implemented and will damage and ignite entities that walk over it (unless they have fire immunity).
Could you add Lost Souls next (I think it would be awesome if they only spawned on/near soul sand). I think they should drop bones/bonemeal as well.

I'm currently working on the nether Soul (Lost Soul) already, it's model, texture and sounds are all good to go but I'm revamping the Entity code to better support flying and be a bit less messy and more reusable for future mobs. The nether Souls will drop Bones, Gunpowder and possibly Blaze Powder, but be careful because they explode on death!
I don't want to add too many Doom mobs straight away and I'm only planning on adding the Cacodemon next and then moving on to possibly Desert Mobs.

Centaur - as Centaur in Plains Mobs
Ettin - as Ettin in Swamp Mobs
Korax - renamed to something in Possibly Shadow Mobs or a new Ender Mob
Chaos Serpent - as Serpent in Jungle Mobs
Stalker - as Dweller in Swamp Mobs
Wendigo - as Wendigo in Arctic Mobs
Reiver - as Reiver in Arctic Mobs
Heretic Gargoyle - as Gargoyle in Forest Mobs
Heretic Weredagon - renamed to something in Jungle Mobs
Heretic Sabreclaw - as Clink in Desert Mobs
I'm not sure about adding the Golem because Mo' Ceatures has a good Golem in it and same for the Maulotaur because of the Twilight Forest Minotaurs. Dark Bishops are human or partly human and currently I'm gonna focus on non-humans or human-like. Also again Mo' Creatures adds Wyverns and if I'm going to add a Wyvern/Dragon I'd rather make a Draconic Pack with a lot of different Wyverns and Dragons.
This looks great so far, but I would like to ask more about what the whole biome mobs are. Is this just the nether one?

I plan on releasing this mod in separate packs (with one complete edition with everything too) where each pack adds a group of mobs for a certain biome/dimension. I've got two more Demons to complete and then I'm going to move onto the next pack which I think is going to be the Desert Mobs pack.
And oh I'll be adding that spotlight!
As a long-time fan of DooM and a mob mod enthusiast, I'm excited to see this mod! When I first saw the Nether, I thought immediately of DooM, so this will be a welcome addition once I get around to setting up a proper 1.6.2 modded game.
Quick question: Are Pinkies relatively rare? I read they don't despawn (because they can be bred/farmed), and non-despawning monsters are well-known for creating bottleneck situations in terms of monster population/spawning. Seems like it may not be a huge issue though, as you mentioned they're vulnerable to fire and also try to eat Zombie Pigmen?

Having played the original game myself (And still do sometimes) on my Sega 32x, it brings back many nostalgic gameplay feels to a game I love; Minecraft. It is truly amazing the work you have done to make this mod. It's even better when the likes of AntVenom and CaptainSparklez review your mod Can't wait for the up-coming updates!
Holy crap this mod is AWESOME. Only advice I can give right now is to have the baron of hells moving animation to be a bit smoother but thats IT holy CRAP this mod is amazing.
Could you make a Low res texture set for the Mobs using the Original Sprites from the Games, Since its freeware and the license on that game is up your allowed to use the content without breaking the law. I can give you the sprites if you need them.
you should add a new boss or two. the cyberdemon and spider mastermind from doom 2 now that will spice up minecraft also make there be a fairly slim but adjustable chance for a ( one or two ) portals to spawn or be created where the creatures would pour through like in doom 3 now that would be perfect.

The Pinkies only spawn as Animals in the Nether so I don't think they bottleneck the Nether spawns, but I'll look into it. They do attack Pigmen on sight which is a good way to 'despawn' them because they normally go through a couple of Pigmen then get killed themselves which works out ok.
