Hey lycanite, any luck with that graphical glitch? It might also be resource pack oriented so maybe try that. Its strange it eluded you for so long. I can post a picture for you to observe too if you like.
Also, can there be a nerf for spriggians? They can heal up to 40 health in one go with their laser even though they only drain like 4-6 hitpoints.
This is especially apparent on special spriggians as I have damage indicators and I noticed their incredible health gain.
A chance to miss with their beam would be nice too.
Another thing, I haven't had that strange bug with pinkies one-shotting me. However, I noticed they one-shot zombie pigmen, this is utterly bizzare. Though they only do three damage to sheep/cow/etc. Maybe this is linked to me getting one-shotted.
Cannot wait for the lighting nerf too, I had to severely drop infernal spawns due to the first time I had them i'd get a never ending swarm of demon mobs. I'd like to be able to make safe zones with unnatural light too.
For this lighting nerf make FIRE spawns still ignore it of course, like I made pinkies and nether souls spawn in fire. (Had too for the nether survival, pinkies would spawn in the starting animal pen and murder all the animals.)

I'll look into nerfing all life draining mobs as they are too effective. I might be able to give Spriggan lasers a delay so their lasers aren't always exactly on target unless their target stays still. They do have a rest period though. Spriggans used to be much worse, they attacked none-stop, did 2x the damage they do now and had knock back!
The lighting option will be a new config optin that can be changed on a per mob basis, the defaults will be the same though.
I am not seeing any config option to stop Darkness and Death from ignoring the dimension whitelist. I see "Darkness Spawn Chat Warnings", but besides that I only see "spawners enabled", "spawner ticks", "spawner ranges", "spawner mob limits", "spawner chances", and "spawner block limits".
Also, I know this probably not an issue on your end, but I've been having some issues getting Doomlike Dungeons to spawn these mobs. On the main post here it says you need the custom themes but on the Doomlike Dungeon post it says you don't need that now in the 1.7 version. I did already post about this on the DLD thread in more detail, but thought it would be worth asking here if anyone has had same issue or knows how to fix it.

No progress currently, it's tricky because I can fix it but then they'll attack mobs that are tamed/summoned by players too!

Familiars Added: The entire base code and GUI for familiars has been added, this does nothing at all so far, unless you're me! I'm not too sure what plans I have for familiars yet but donaters and patrons will have their own familiars in future updates. These base code also covers a lot of work required for Pet/Mount storage too!

Here you go, top is the glitch, an enchanted carmot sword from metallurgy, though enchanted vanilla swords (or anything for that matter) are no different. They all trigger this glitch.

Hmm I see, it looks like the transparency of the shiny effect of the sword is being applied to the GUI texture, I'll have to double check some things!
Any way to remove the explosion ability from Geonachs when they spawn? It's getting annoying as I have to keep constantly fixing my mineshafts over and over again
I'd just change Geonach's spawn type to basic MONSTER in their config, makes them spawn like normal mobs.
You can also do SKY too if you want them ominously looming over you from time to time.
I did this with Spriggians as well as they was irritating in a meadow biome when I was breaking grass.
Hey, I have few more questions. First, are you still looking into the event info and toggles? I ask because I didn't see it in the recent update. Also, you mentioned that DEATH and DARKNESS spawn conditions ignore the Dimension Blacklist/Whitelist and that there was a config option to change this; I can't see to find this option. And the last thing, is there a way to disable the Khalk's death effect; I like it as a mob and would like to keep it around, but it is making a mess of things...
Edit: I realize the lava does go away over time. However, if it dies in a flowing lava source, it won't. For example, I killed one in a 1 block lavafall in the nether and it turned it into a 9x9 pillar of lava; but because there was a flowing source above the 9x9 it hasn’t gone away and is spawning lots more...

2nd Day, Die to a Spriggan after chopping down a tree.
Would be nice if this mod could be a bit more Hardcore friendly, but still, awesome mod!
