the mod already is separated.. each mob is actually an individual mod by itself, if you don't want a certain mob or just like the nether ones you can simply remove the folders of the ones you don't want. (Thats why in-game you see a bunch of Lycanite mob mods installed when adding the 'complete pack')

Configs older than 1.10.11.0 will be reset!
New World Generation: Ooze Lakes and underground Ooze Pools will now be generated, Lakes will appear above ground in Cold or Snowy tagged biomes and Pools will generate underground in all biomes similar to lava. Ooze wont generate in the Nether or the End, it can also be configured via the config.
Improvement: Drastically lowered the sight range of various large mobs such as Lobbers or Striders, this should improve performance.
Config Change: Added more config options to the Darkness Spawn Type.
Bug Fix: Fixed Russet Shade Texture to have an matching color belly!

Have you ever thought of separating your mod? Like for people who just want nether mobs, you have a nether pack etc...

You can however open up the jar file and then go into lycanite/lycanitesmobs/ and in there you will see submods such as plainsmobs or shadowmobs, if you delete these, the whole mod will still work, you could also package them into separate jars.

No worries, another question, is this mod compatible with Biomes O' Plenty? I.e. will Lycanite mobs spawn in relatively appropriate BOP biomes? Or will they only spawn in vanilla biomes?

The Forge biome tagging system is used you see where mobs spawn in biomes with specific tags such as HOT, DENSE, SNOWY, DRY, etc, most biome adding mods such as BoP use these tags correctly allowing the mobs to spawn with no additional configuration required!

I will be adding Pure Lava pool generation next, I'm just testing out the Ooze generation first to see what feedback I get, I don't want Ooze to be everywhere but I also don't want it to be extremely rare. Also Pure Lava doesn't spawn Cephignis, it's made mostly for containing Cephignis without worrying about any mobs spawning in it. I'll look into adding Pure Water which will do the same, I might add it to the world generation too, though I'm not sure what purpose it could serve in world gen.
Pure Fire isn't something I'm going to be adding, there is Scorchfire and Hellfire for those who want a fireplace, etc without worrying about mobs spawning.

The mob spawning can be turned down via the config to make the mobs less invasive, things like the Geonach from ores can be disabled and replaced with Geonachs spawning just underground in the dark, etc.

I talked with FatherToast about the issues I had adjusting the Shadow Mob health with Mob Properties and it seems to be an issue on your end. It seems that most mobs set their health after they spawned, unless they spawned with a Monster spawner. So if their base health was 15 and I set it to 35, they spawn as 15 of 35 instead.

i've also noticed Lacedon's will follow you to the ends of the earth in order to attack you and not head back to land or take damage when out of the water for long periods.. is this normal behaviour? As with Dwellers they will do the same thing to an extent but will forget you an turn back to go back to water.
Also noticed a glitch with Striders that they can pick you up through a wall and you not be able to attack them, so inevitably u wait to die since you cant do nothing. They also occasionally are un-attackable when they pick u up when close to a water source they have spawned in, so again you wait to die since you cant do anything.
Roc has a similar glitch where it can pick you up and you be completely unable to attack it and again have to wait untill it kills you.

Opis is reporting I have over 400 chupakabras an hour into a new server. I killed them all with Opis. Shouldn't they despawn if no one is around? I'm already doing a mob clear hourly (real time via cron) by changing to peaceful for a moment to wipe out "stuck" mobs. We've seen major lag when there are so many. I'm on 1.10.10.0 and open to suggestions.

You can go into shadowmobs-spawning.cfg and set Chupacabra Natural Despawning to true and they should then despawn, this will make farming them no so effective though.
I did't not change the config and i maybe wrong but is that not a little much Ooze for the normal config?
PS: i used BiomesOPlenty and Better World gen 4
Hmm yeah that's quite a lot lol, looks like I should reduce it by 4. You can edit Ooze worldgen via te arcticmobs-worldgen.cfg config where you can disable it for now until I sort it out next update.

You should do alot of digging in the config, you can pretty much edit whatever you want to spawn and how it will spawn.

I have done so. Not all of the options are well explained, like the "Natural Despawn". I'm confused why you wouldn't have a despawn, because eventually every mob slot would be full and nothing new would spawn...
Could someone put a config up for download where ALL mob spawns only happen at night, and more rarely? I need a config like that for this mod to make it into my modpack. (I want daytime to be relatively safe, aside from in dungeons and caves.)
