I've run into my first crash with this mod, oh my! It happened while attacking a Joust, but I do see LegendGear noticed quite a bit; I'm not sure if it's a problem with this mod or that one, aha.

Hmm yeah it doesn't look like it's caused by this mod, one of my mobs is involved but didn't cause the crash as far as I'm aware, it's a witness but didn't commit the crime! Or did it, hmm! Lol I'f post it on the other mod's forums, etc.

In a cauldron server, some of the mobs from your mod do not deal damage to the player.
Hmm are you running any other mods or plugins that could affect things, I run this mod in a Cauldron server 24/7 and the seem to be dealing damage fine.
Lycanite! It's another uncommon mob texture issue!! When an uncommon troll is around at day, it looks purple and black!!!
Hmm yep just as I thought, the last fix I did has changed things where the textures for the troll are named troll_russet_stone.png or troll_azure_stone.png but now it needs to be troll_stone_russet.png and troll_stone_azure.png!
I'll fix it in the next hotfix where I have also fixed the Blood Summoning Staff!

I plan to add Shadow Mobs which will contain some mobs made of pure shadow (especially the phantom and the Shade).
In the 'Spawning' config files (Only if you're using the most recent update that added Shinies) for the mobs, there's a part that looks like this:

Next to where it says 'GROUP', put the ID for the biomes (194 for Eerie, 193 for Magical Forest and 192 for Taint) and they should spawn in there, however, if not, it may be down to the fact that Minecraft now uses tags, rather than the ID system it used in 1.6
My mod used to use Biome IDs very early on but since then I've moved to biome tags, it is up to Thaumcraft to tag their biomes appropriately, just like it is up to a mod that adds a new ore to add its ores to the forge ore dictionary. I'm assuming it should be tagged as FOREST and MAGICAL so those are the biome groups to add, all Forest Mobs already use these tags by default I think so if they aren't spawning then it might be down to Thaucmraft to put the tag in.
I suppose I could add a cool little feature where you all can put in a biome ID and then a tag to force any biome to be in a certain group whether the mod authors have tagged them or not.
I've had lycanites spawning in my magical forests, so I think they're okay. I also think Thaumcraft magical forests are treated a little differently for spawns because they have special mobs that only spawn there with any regularity. (Also in Eerie and possibly tainted areas, but far less often from what I've seen).
Which leads to slimes or tainted mobs, usually. Tainted areas are also the only place for tendrils, swarm spawners, and taint spiders. I'm not sure if Pech spawn in tainted areas or not, and what happens to them if they do. I do want to see a tainted Pech now, though. Point remains that I think Thaumcraft does its own thing for those two areas, which shouldn't be exceptionally abundant anyways.
Adding both MAGIC and MAGICAL spawn tags doesn't do anything, unfortunately. Odd, because I've heard before that thaumcraft actually makes use of one of those tags to spawn silverwoods in biomes other than magical forests.
With the new randomly sized mobs, you should add a rarely sized gorgomite that is not the rare gorgomite subspecies, but just a large spawn. It could be a little smaller than an erepede. It also has a lot of health. It would be, a sort of mini-boss or something close to that. If it was a mini-boss, it would spawn really tiny gorgomites. Maybe all the bug mobs with limbs could have a queen size, that spawns really small ones. I don't know. Also, if you don't do this, one of the desert bosses should be the gorgaqueen, basically a giant gorgomite with wings and a crusk tail That creates huge chasms in the earth.

Sir Porky III, Snally Ted, Skelly, Bob Steven Allela, Baby Porky, Sparklez the Enderman, Bobeel the Door Pig, Witchtilda, Slimey, Gildwam, Sally, Ted, and the Mailman's dog/endermite all say that LYCANITES MOBS is the best mod. It's settled.
Fresh new world, I start exploring and come to a "Boreal Forest" from BoP and my FPS dropped like crazy because almost every tree had a Scorchfire on top (only the tall trees, but at least 300+ trees). I had to actually use WorldEdit to //replace all the Scorchfire with Air in the entire biome because it made the server unplayable.
I looked in to the config, and found B:"Enable Scorchfire"=true in the infernomobs-general.cfg but I was wondering if I set this to false if it would prevent this from happening again or if that simply makes it so the actual mobs don't use that attack anymore. I don't mind mobs using this as an attack, but I don't want an entire biome to be covered in it again as it gets generated.
If it is possible to disable biomes to be generated covered in Scorchfire, could someone please tell me how I can do that? And, are there any other "fires" that could be spawned with biomes (eg: Frostfire)?
OOps, forgot to answer your message! The Pure Lava is already built on vanilla code however I couldn't not directly base it off vanilla lava code as it would be missing a few features.

Is it just me or do the mobs not spawn in the nether very well if glenns gases are on? I have both installed and the only mobs I see are lobbers and the lava fish in the lava lakes.
