I got a few beasts/monsters to suggest from a childhood game,Serious Sam : The Second Encounter
The first one,the Gnaar :
That thing scared the crap out of me everytime it ran towards me,it made a weird noise and punched the hell out of you, also biting,if it would be considered as an addition to this mod,I would also suggest to make his eye glow in the dark.
The Reeban Electro-Fish :
This is a angler-ish fish that bites quite badly, he can leap out of the water onto the land and keep doing it until he is long enough out of the water, and then dies, its pretty much like the Dweller, but it is found in the Ocean biomes instead of Swamps only.
The Marsh Hopper :
This is some sort of a mutated frog that leaps towards you quite fast,he is easy to kill but is still a potential threat, maybe to make him a little more challenging add a mild poisoning effect since he explodes into a green splat.
The Fiendian Reptiloid Demon :
This is a demon like monster that should spawn in the Nether rarely, its main attack is raising its hands close together, form a lava ball for a few seconds, and then toss it,and the projectile is very fast,so paying attention to him is important, you could really hear him doing that while playing in the game,so the same should be if this gets added into the game.
I suppose that if you get near him,he starts walking towards you to knock you down.
Yep all mobs attack villagers at the moment, I can make this a config option if strongly desired though where only Zombie (Ghoul/Crypt) would attack villagers instead. Oh yeah, can do, should be very easy, forgot to look into custom mob spawners! I'll have it sorted for the next update. I'll set them like so: LycanitesMobs.MobPack.MobName Example: LycanitesMobs.DemonMobs.Asmodi That way they'll be sorted by my mod and then which mob pack they're in which should make things a lot tidier.
Yeah. I kinda want the hostile mobs to attack villagers. What wouldn't be more fun than a villager getting attacked and infected by a group of Crypt Zombies, or grabbed, pulled into the sand and eaten by a Crusk, or sliced into quarters by a Clink, or getting hit by a sand loogie spat by an Erepede, or getting bitten by a Gorgomite, or getting stung a million times by a Manticore? But let's add that option where only zombie mobs attack villagers for testificate lovers who don't want their villagers to get eaten by Crusks or slashed by Clinks.
The models and textures are excellent, as is (from what I can tell) their AI. While I haven't downloaded the mod yet, I look forward to using this in my survival world once all the mods I need update.

I like the Fish and the Gnarr is interesting but I've got a planned list of desert/swamp mobs so they would be adapted to other biomes.

I'd also like to add to Armadelix's recommendations. Kleer Skeletons
These guys usually run after the player, tackling them. They also will sometimes throw a ball and chain projectile at the player if they're somewhat far away.
Sirian Werebulls
Like the Kleers, they will try to ram the player, but they are much faster, pack a bigger punch, but also let their momentum carry them a bit farther if they miss the player. You'd basically be playing Bullfighting with it.
Scythian Witch-Harpy
These bad gals fly from the sky, shooting blue projectiles and homing onto the player. They usually come from the sky, but can walk on ground.
Minor and Major Biomechanoids
Minor is blue, Major is red.
These guys are similar so I lumped them together. They're just big mechs that roam around, whirring. The minors shoot fast blue laser beams at the player, as the Major shoots 2 slower, but more damaging rockets.
All of these could appear in the Desert Biome, as it is where ALL of Serious Sam: First Encounter and 3 take place in. Also, all these monsters had different designs in Sam 1 2 and 3, except the Sirian Werebull in 2, as he doesn't make an appearance. So, if you don't like these designs, I would recommend checking those out.
These are just suggestions, so i'm sorry if you already have this all planned out.

I hope these would be added as well, especially the Werebull.
I remember how it rammed every thing that its got into his way,Trees and other environmental props.

The mechanoids are a little too high tech, I know the Asmodi are pretty high tech too but they have the whole trite and redstone setup. The Kleers are interesting and remind me a bit of the Deerhaunter from TimeSplitters 3, it might be good for the Arctic or Mountain biomes. I like the design of the Sirian Werebulls and I may add something similar for the Plains Biomes, the Jousts are a planned desert mob that will attack a bit like the Werebulls too. Harpies are something I'm considering for Mountain biomes but they will be somewhat less attractive!
Sorry for no spoilers I dont know how to make them White wolf -spawns in snowy biomes and extreme hills -tamable with porkchops -neutral -rideable magma beast/golem -spawns rarely in the nether in lava pools -agressive -when it hits you, you go on fire -has 50-60 health -drops cobblestone, stone, obsidian or fire resistance potion yeti: -spawns in extreme hills and snow biomes -gets hurt if in the desert, jungle or canyon biome (that will be in 1.7) -two attacks: melle and smash (has quite a knockback) -aggresive -has 30 health and a mob made of my imagination: Skeleton commander: -its a skeleton with two swords/two axes Like in battlegear two, the skeleton commander draws his 2 swords -aggresive -has a retextured iron chestplate. (the chestplate is black at some points like a wither skeleton), normal chainmail leggins and leather boots -has red eyes with a small fire animation -spawns with 1-5 skeletons around him -drops iron ingots, iron sword/axe, an iron chestplate or chain leggins. -oh, and sunlight doesnt hurt him.
I'm planning on adding a variety of Giant Wolf-like creatures to the Forest (Wargs), Mountain (Barghests) and Arctic (Maugs) biomes so the 'Arctic Wolves' or Maugs named (but not designed) after Maugrim a wolf that served the white witch from the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe would be a tamable and rideable ice wolf, they will probably come in a variety of textures like Horses do too, I plan to do this for the Pinkies, Eyewigs and Erepedes too.
Why do people always do this?
Don't critisize other peoples ideas, don't say 'he won't add that' or anything near it, because you don't know if he will or if he won't, I like the ideas! Don't put him down like that.
The only thing is, the demons were all based on Doom demons, and that pack is finished anyway.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.

Yeah, but Doom is a fps, so we were adding enemies from another FPS classic.
Oh, also,
Mancubus, Revenant, and Arch-Vile. Though, he probably won't add any more Doom monsters, just because he wants to focus on other things.
I've been super busy this week with my new job trial but the Ettin is almost done and I hope to have it finished later today or tomorrow. It is fully modelled and half textured, the animation is fairly simple and the AI only has one new thing to introduce and that's the block breaking ability, although I may have to play around so that the Ettin will smash through 1 block thick walls if you are next to them.
Oh! Will you add bosses? If so, then I have ideas: Nether: Robo-hemoth (based off Doom Cyberdemon) Asmodi Mother (based off Doom Spider Mastermind) Desert: Cephadrome (similar to Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Cephadrome) Swamp: Moss Hydra (completely made-up) Sounds good?
The Cyberdemon and Spider Mastermind will both appear as bosses later, they will probably be summon by building an altar or something and then performing a ritual of some kind, this will be a recurring theme for some bosses, others will be found as very rare spawns or something.
I think there are already two mods that add Cephadromes so I'm going to avoid adding that, also it is a Wyvern/Dragon and I will be making a Dragon Mobs pack at some point in the future too, so no Dragons, for now...!
A Moss Hydra sounds cool but again is very Dragon-like. I think I have a plan for the Swamp Boss: The Shambler based off the Shambler from a very old game called Lords of Magic, it will be a giant moss covered, hunched over creature that deals a lot of Poison and Blindness, it will use the Poison Clouds that the Aspids will be using which is basically like fire but a green cloud that causes poison damage.
Can't wait to see more updates for a fantastic mod! This should really be in a lot more modpacks...
Thanks! It would be awesome if my mod made it into a big mod pack like Hexxit, although I don't play it much myself I know a lot of others do and that the pack is a bit about adventure and rpg!
awesome! I always wanted somekind of rideable warg/wolf . But what do you think about my other suggestions?
The Lava Golem will be a Volcanic Mob called a Lobber it will be around the same size as a Behemoth, larger Lava Golem like mobs will be added in that pack too!
Yetis are fairly common and like Ogres and Goblins I want to avoid super common mobs as other mods have/may add them such as Mo' Creatures and I've been aiming to make this mod nice to use alongside other mob mods. Wendigos based on the Hexen Wendigos are a lot like Yetis though and they will be added in the Arctic Mobs pack.
Thanks for your work on this! Looks great!
Since this mod seems to place mobs in biome specific locations, is there a way to get this working with Biome's o plenty which uses many different biomes, including in the nether. I tried looking in the configs but could see a way to specify what biomes they should spawn in.

For now you can use Customer Mob Spawner or Mob Spawn Controls, I'll look into adding support for both BoP and XL, I'll also making the spawn biomes changeable in the config.

OK. Seems legit. I could wait for a Cephadrome or Moss Hydra to be added. Also, it's OK to not add the Cephadrome. I could think of another desert boss if you want me to.
I'm not sure if he'll add those.

Yeqah ok, I'll add an option!
Feel free, just make sure you credit me and link to the website.
Unfortunately I'm going to be using a lot of the 1.6 Horse mob class so I can't go before the Horses.
