This mod adds many new mobs to specific biome, dimensions and other environments such as lava! These new mobs are mostly hostile but there are some passive ones too that can be bred for special food. Many mobs can be tamed, used as mounts and even summoned as temporary minion hordes!
This mod also adds deadly world events that start randomly every hour or so (highly configurable), these events spawn swarms of deadly mobs as well as other hazards!
This mod takes inspiration from other games and mythologies and is well known for it's Doom (by ID Software) inspired Demon Mobs for the Nether, but has much more than just that!

No new mobs added just yet, this update is quite big however as I have structured the entire mod so that it is ready for new mobs. Expect another update very soon (possibly even tomorrow) with a new mob!
Setup main mod structure which allows for new mobs and projectiles to be added easily and hopefully bug free!
The Behemoth now raises it's right arm and fires a Hellfireball from it (rather than spitting it out of its mouth). The Behemoth's arms now also animate (swing around slightly like players) when it is standing still.
The Behemoth now has twice the amount of health (40 hit points or 20 hearts).
Hellfire now spreads much more aggressively. (Has 8x a higher chance of spreading to a flammable block then regular fire). Hellfire can be disabled in the config where it is replaced with regular fire.
Aw yeah! It's been so long since I've seen a new mod I got really interested in, and this is just the one to draw me in. I love DOOM from the bottom of my heart, and I've always thought it had good mod capability since none of the monsters really followed a plot and were pretty random, just like vanilla mobs. I really hope to see this develop and flesh out, and i'll be following it! The behemoth looks great btw! (but he looks more like a Baron of Hell than an imp, lol)

Thanks for the feedback! The Behemoth is based off the Baron of Hell, the next mob I'm working on is the Belph which is the one that will be based off the imps. Also while I intend to use Doom as heavy inspiration for the mob designs they wont have any technological stuff (for example the Asmodi which is based off the Arachnotron will have a skeletal base instead of a mechanical one). Basically I aim to take a bit of Doom and mix it with Minecraft because just like you said, the Doom demons seem to have that same randomness as the Minecraft mobs do, so they should fit in nicely.

I'm not going to be adding all of the Doom demons, I'm just using Doom for design inspiration, I'll take a look at some of the SkullTag mobs though. This mod is going to add a wide range of mobs but I'm starting with the Doom inspired Nether Demon mobs.

Oops, I'll add that to the top post straight away, I forgot to add that because I'm not actually using it properly yet, but i should really mention it. As far as i'm aware it should be ok if this mod and another mod both include it, I'll double check though.
Also I'd just like to make it clear that this isn't going to be a Doom for Minecraft mod but it will have a lot of Doom inspired demons. There will be other mob packs that move away from Doom too. I'm going to be looking at Oddworld, Hexen, some of my own designs and many more.

I wonder if you could add some sort of Hellfire Imp, maybe if a belph and hellfire meet, it creates a Hellfire Imp that could possibly be tameable :3 I mean, i'de like an imp to throw fireballs at my foes, especially green ones.

Bends as in, arms are bent slightly when walking, same with legs, that sort of thing so that he looks less like a ruler with horns.
Also, I'de like some Imp Fireballs, could you make them a creative only item? Works the same as Hellfire Charges i guess, except Doomfire Charges or something like that xD

Thanks for the feedback, I agree that the Behemoth could have a few more bends, I've almost completed the Pinky Demon which has a lot of bends and now comparing the Behemoth to it, the Behemoth does look a little stiff so I'll get to it soon.
I can also quickly whip up a Doomfire Charge for you too (I like the name too lol)! Should be up in about an hour or so as soon as I get the Pinky's attack sound working!
New Mob Added: The Pinky based off the Doom Pinky Demon, I have plans to make these farmable. For now they drop raw beef.
New Creative Only Item Added: Doomfire Charge, creates fire just like a Fire Charge but can be used in a dispenser to fire the Doomfireballs that the Belph throw. (Renamed RedFireballs to Doomfireballs).
Fixed a few minor issues. Belph no longer drop Hellfire Charges, instead they drop Nether Warts.
I've swapped the order of a few things around and the default Item IDs have changed.
I have plans to improve the Behemoth model as suggested and Hellfire blocks don't burn entities or emit light for some reason. The next mob I'll be working on will probably be the Trite.

Loving the new update! I know the beef is just a placeholder, but perhaps pinkys could be cannibals? You breed them by feeding the meat they drop to them, and at the same time the meat is edible.
Also, requesting another creative item, the BFG.
You should be able to have some fun with that xD
And why not just call the mod Lycanite? It seems to fit. Lycanite Creations, Lycanite Spawns, etc.

Thanks for the feedback! The Behemoth is based off the Baron of Hell, the next mob I'm working on is the Belph which is the one that will be based off the imps. Also while I intend to use Doom as heavy inspiration for the mob designs they wont have any technological stuff (for example the Asmodi which is based off the Arachnotron will have a skeletal base instead of a mechanical one). Basically I aim to take a bit of Doom and mix it with Minecraft because just like you said, the Doom demons seem to have that same randomness as the Minecraft mobs do, so they should fit in nicely.
