Baby Wargs are adorable, although I have no idea how this one spawned here...I think the head part of the model forgot to shrink with the rest lol.
Also it seems that Ettins won't despawn even if disabled in the config, as the other mobs will. I haven't seen them naturally spawn yet, but I tried using various spawn eggs, and those are the only disabled mob that stayed.
I'll look into that bug. I fixed the stepping sounds of all mobs so I may need to revise some if they're not sounding too good.
Silex give the Swim Speed buff but it's not working atm, it is a potion ID conflict though. At least in 1.9 potion effects are becoming automatic like block/item ids.
I'll look into why Silex are sinking like that, next update they will be immune to suffocation however.
Do you mean the effect isn't working? Because I got it to stop conflicting [see previous post] and I get the proper effect now.
As far as silex, one of the babies I had might have been from a previous update, as it was smaller than the others.
I'll do more tests, but my latest batch hasn't drowned...yet.

Sir Porky III, Snally Ted, Skelly, Bob Steven Allela, Baby Porky, Sparklez the Enderman, Bobeel the Door Pig, Witchtilda, Slimey, Gildwam, Sally, Ted, and the Mailman's dog/endermite all say that LYCANITES MOBS is the best mod. It's settled.
They ruined parts of my base, including a bunch of agriculture 10 10 10 crops. Had a pretty little lava fall down a mountain somewhat near my base and they spawned and threw lava everywhere. =(
If you want you can disable their spawn in lava:
EX: Go to the config for Lycanites under infernal mobs, look for mob spawning types. Change LAVA to MONSTER, or if you want them gone for good set it too nothing.
If you want some challenge with them in the nether then you can set their biome to -1 in the same config file. There is both the general options and individual mob options, so if you change general all infernal mobs will be nether only.

Is it possible through configs to make uncommon and rare subspecies hit harder, pierce more etc? All I can find is making rare ones have more hp and nothing extra for uncommon.
Also, is it possible to add special drops to uncommon or rare versions of certain mobs?
What I'm trying to do is making the subspecies less common but quite a bit more dangerous and rewarding. I want to have the normal mobs be something for early game, the uncommon for early mid game, rare for late mid game.
It can currently be done to all subspecies globally via the general config but it can't be done on a per mob basis at the moment but I do plan to add support for this in the future soon. I keep forgetting to add this to the comment in the configs but you ca also add subspecies-only drops too: mod:item, metadata, chance, min, max this is for a regular drop and mod:item, metadata, chance, min, max, subspeciesID can be used for a subspecies specific drop. Check out my adventure modpack! 25+ carefully selected mods (Not counting Core Mods) and great for if you don't have that beefy of a computer. Plus it has over 2K downloads and counting so y'know it's good. Oh, and fully multiplayer compatible!
There's also the resource intensive version (if you can handle it) for a bigger experience!

I found a bug! Or I think I have; when crafting a bucket of 'Pure Lava' it gives you a bucket of pure lava AND the old bucket, empty.
Duplication of bucket.
Ooops! I'll look into that one! XD
Any hints on what's coming next?

It can currently be done to all subspecies globally via the general config but it can't be done on a per mob basis at the moment but I do plan to add support for this in the future soon. Possibly the Darkling or maybe something much worse...
I do have some regular mobs planned next but that's not to say that Dragon's aren't coming...
Quite certain that was fixed over a week ago, simply update the mod
Nice to see you, BTW
I had a sneak peek on Lycanite's first dragon mob...
It is....
....Remobra, As lycanite stated 100 pages ago.
Does that mean the fly will be the next mob?
I just thought up a neat way to help baby silex! I don't know how easy it is to make a mob capture system that would allow them to age, but a Minnow Jar would be awesome. You catch the bitty fish in the jar and feed it lapis chips till it's full grown, then you click the jar back into the water and the fully grown silex swims out. *shrug* Just an idea, feel free to toss or use it

I've also noted that many mounts don't have a 'sit' function, or any kind of commands.
I don't have to worry about losing my crusk or serpix for example, cause I tell it to sit and stay, and it does.
(It's too big to fit in my smelter anyhow.)

Rahovart still doesn't have Size tag and SpecialBehavior tag compound. Not rushing though, just wanted to report it.
"Hay I mixed a chemical you created with another thing and it suddenly exploded!" Is the level of detail you're giving here.
Advice: Put the mod list or no one can help you.
