I can't wait to see this evolve. While this has less content than both Jin's and Mathiok's mods, it's much more refined and less buggy than Mathiok's, and is more Naruto like than Jin's mod, which is just a reskinned DBC. I can't wait for the new features and future development.

0.5.0 will be released and then work will be started on the re-code.
Still debating if its worth making the mod with forge or try to make quite a generic layout for how this will all work and use rift to be ahead with versions and swap to forge once it comes out or just to try to make it for 1.12 with the 1.13 and 1.14 changes in mind of what I will need to re-code to save effort.
Amazing! I would say that go for 1.12 first (keep 1.13 and 1.14 in mind only if you want, no hurry). People (including me) have been wanting any Naruto mod for 1.12.2 . Since there are still active 1.7.10, 1.10 mods/modpacks while 1.13 exists is a hint that people won't easily forget older versions in favour of a newer one. So while you (re)make the mod for 1.12 it would be highly received and won't be forgotten even if forge comes out with 1.13 or 1.14 versions.
As a menial programmer myself I can imagine the difficulties that can go into upgrading to newer version of an API (I'm looking at you Python pandas), but it helps if you can segregate the API code from the general code. Possibly by making a separate procedure/function which contains only the API code, and calling it would be one way to go about it. It saves me the hassle by making easy upgrades. The general algorithms/code are safe and sound from the terrors of upgrading an API.

This mod is great! It's ratings (for me) is much better then the other Naruto mods, keep up the good work!
P.S Can you add new jutsu? I would really want you to add Rasengan
