I think Colourful should be spelt Colorful, at least on the English (US) language. This is just a personal-preference thing, I'm not used to seeing it spelt with the "u".(Note: I am using an older version so I'm sorry if this was changed already.)

Lol, I'm Canadian, so to me it looks weird spelled without a u. =P
I haven't changed it, but I might it if I add support for other languages (however, from what I've researched, adding languages isn't very simple, so I'd need enough free time to figure it out).

That's fine, plus, it's not like I can really update to any new versions soon anyways.
Plus, I think making resource packs with custom languages is fairly easy, however I don't know how that works with mod items.
As far as I know, it doesn't. (At least I'm pretty sure; please correct me if I'm wrong).
(By the way, you can add things to a post instead of creating a new one using the "Edit" button (at the bottom of the post next to MultiQuote). Just makes the posts easier to read =) ).

Just wanted to give you an update. Been running this on my 1.6.2 server for a week or so now without any issues. The only problem I have is lag when walking through the portals while the server tries to figure out where I've moved to, but that's not an issue with the mod. Thanks again for an awesome mod.

Hmm, I don't think so because it's designed so that you can have an unlimited number of portals. Are you having problems with too many portals?
I am not have issues with too many portals, but I would like to be able to impose a limit (via config file?) per person and/or per world to to prevent portals everywhere.
I would like to give the ability to create portals to the players, but with limitations, so it is not overused.

Hmm, I couldn't limit how many portals a certain player makes (it's actually the colourful water that activates the portal, not the person clicking on it. It's much like Nether portals with fire).
I could limit the number of portals in total, but that would require a lot of code rewriting (The code is designed around the idea that you can have any number of portals of any type, so it would be quite a bit of work to change that).
I can see how it would be a concern if you have lots of people. If you really want the total number of portals to be limited, tell me (but it probably wouldn't be implemented until I update it to 1.7).

I would like the option to limit the total number of portals
It would be really cool if there was a portable teleporter. There could be like a 5 second delay so you can't just teleport away when you are about to die. Also, a cooldown timer would be required for this to be not over-powered. This might not fit, since this mod is about portals, but it's still a thought. That might be a cool addon for this mod, as an optional download.
Also, I found a texture bug when underwater. I also have ExtraBiomesXL installed, but I don't think that's the source of this bug. When underwater, all of the colorful water looks like source blocks. No idea if this is fixable, but wanted to let you know. If it actually flows underwater it would look weird. Just wanted to report this. =)

Hmm, that is a neat idea. However, I see a potential problem: if you have 20 portals of the same colour, which one should it teleport you to? (also, you kind of already have a portable teleporter in that you can carry wool/stained clay and colourful water with you and create a portal to get back home)
Yeah, I noticed that too. The colourful water is technically a Forge liquid, so forge handles that stuff. It will flow into water and try to combine with it weirdly (I tested with the oil and fuel from buildcraft and it renders the same underwater, but it won't flow into water. Maybe they set something differently? I'm not sure).
I think MCP needs to update before forge can, and then this mod can update
Yeah, Epiksoda's right. I looked at forge and it says that 1.7.2 has so many changes (including the whole sound system I think), that it may take months for forge to update, and only after that can the forge mods start updating too. It might be Christmas or later before the forge mods can update.
Stained Glass portals in 1.7 version? What you you think? That might be kinda weird though
You betcha! =D That was actually my first thought when I saw the stained glass in the snapshot. Hey, if Minecraft is going to keep giving us colourful blocks, then we're just going to keep getting colourful portals.
Could be dangerous in the Nether though. A single ghast blast and boom, no more portal. Then again, the wool portals aren't much safer.

Will do that next time!
I did it, lol.
Good to hear! =D

I have a smile on my face.

Hi.
And now 1.7 is out =D. It's hard for modders to keep up I guess.
All right. I'll incorporate that into my version for 1.7 (except I have to wait until forge itself updates to 1.7).
Sure! I'll give you the image with the link that points here:
Which is what I have in my signature. if you just want the picture, then just use the http://i.imgur.com/Q67s92p.png link.
