Suppose that I uninstalled GLSL Shaders mod because enabling shaders makes my Minecraft lag. I am using Intel Core i7 2.30 GHz and 2 GB NVIDIA GeForce 610 M GPU.
From what i've seen in screenshots and using the vibrant shader pack, it looks phenomenal! However because my framerate is so bad when i'm using the vibrant shader pack, I have to use the basic pack. But when I use the basic pack, I get this infamous error in the chat:
[Shaders] Error : Invalid program gbuffers_terrain
I've seen this error many times with other shaders packs, but all the fixes i've found don't work.
I've got a bunch of error logs from a kindly user, I just didn't have the time to fix it yet, but with those logs I'm probably able to fix the light shaders and basic shaders for every graphic card and hopefully every OS!
it would be nice if there was a download for 1.7.9 to install using forge, but they dont update forge much so forge is not reliable. I also use the magic launcher which installs things for me too. .. could you release a 1,7,9 version? that we could manually install? sues is too hard on my processor
Ok, so I skimmed through the last few pages of posts, forgive me if I missed something simple...
but I cannot get shaders to work. Followed the directions, everything's working... except that despite saying "shaders initialized" no perceptible visual change occurs. I've tried doing this in 1.7.2 Forge, 1.7.4 + ShadersMod with and without Optifine.
On a Mac Pro running OS X 10.9.2 w/ AMD Radeon 5770 and a NVIDIA Quadro 4000, however as the latter is not connected to a display I assume it's irrelevant.
I really enjoy your shaders. SEUS doesn't work for me, and strangely your vibrant max seem to have the same issue, but it's probably because I have nVidia Optimus or because its a mobile card or etc... The basic vibrant shaders work near flawlessly. I use the term near since I have the following issues, and no way to determine if they are as designed, or related to my card.
First is the transition between day/night has a very abrupt threshold where suddenly everything is darker/brighter. Both sides look great, and even the transition, though jarring, is easy enough to get used to. However, what is strange, is the light that the torch you are holding gives off changes also. So if you happen to be in a cave, and the transition happens, suddenly it looks like your torch has gone out.
The second issue is mobs seem to glow to some degree. During the day they are like lightbulbs in dark areas such as caves. At night they are not, but are still more visible than the surrounding area. It may have something to do with the day/night transition.
And lastly rain and snow. I guess this is a Mojang update? Once you get up high enough you are above the rain, it seems to stop. I guess it is supposed to be snowing, as snow begins to cover the ground, but I do not see the snow animation around me. This is also at night, I've yet to test it during the day.

The AMD 5000 series causes some issues with my shaders, not sure why.

Lastly, thanks for these shaders.
Thanks, glad you still enjoy them Most of this things are fixed in an upcoming version, check my facebook page for more informations and news.
Thank you much, and I will do that. The forums won't let me post a screenshot here anyways, and I really don't feel like dealing with it right now so I'll just post the 'glowing mobs' screenshot on your Facebook. If you've already fixed it, feel free to ignore it.
When I try and use your "10.3 Vibrant shaders max" It loads with a couple errors and I get extremely low FPS, to the point where I have to force-quit the game.
Hey Man, I have to say first of all, amazing shader pack bro. I have just started using and I absolutely love it. I have been experiencing one slight problem though. The shader pack has been working excellently, but I have also been using the morph mod. It seems that, when in morph mode the shader kinda goes funky in a way. For instance, if I morph the shadows mostly disappear, and the screen has a slightly greyer tint to it; also if I go into water, I am completely blind, and only see dark blue. Is there something I can do to fix this? Some setting I can change or something, or is the shader just not compatible with morph functionality? I have been using the Vibrant shader by the way.
I downloaded this shaderpack while it is currently on Pre 9. It was not buggy at all (+no lag). Unfortunately, however, since the 1.03 update, I had extremely low FPS; except for the Intel version (P.S. I do not have an Intel Graphics Card). When I compensated for the loss, I tried to find out what changes made it lag on my computer. What I saw and concluded is that there is no visible difference between Pre 9 and 1.03 max (probably the water fixes, but I'm talking about how it looks like).
I might've asked this already, so sorry if I "double-posted".
Here are my system specifications:
iMac late 2012, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB, 1 TB (999.35 GB) Hard Disk total space (currently 696.25 GB free out of 999.35 GB).

So, progress... of a sort. I trashed everything Minecraft on my computer, and reinstalled the shaders. Now I get the following issue:
*Invalid gbuffers for terrain, entities, and hand.
Since you mentioned issues with AMD 5XXX cards I swapped my display to the Quadro 4000, and the exact same issues appear.

I assume that my 15.6 Asus laptop is Intel Core i7 (2.30 GHz) But it lags greatly even with game booster running.
