absolutely fantastic shaders. having a slight issue though, i'm noticing things that should not be reflective like chests, shulker boxes, signs, beds, and other entities (like cows & villagers) are reflective for some reason. i can turn off reflections with the new update and that will fix it, but i really like the water reflections. i'm using macOS 10.14 with an RX 580, if that helps. thank you

Sounds like another amd driver bug, but this time around on a mac. Are you using a resourcepack? If so, check if it happens without one. Are the reflections on entities gone if you disable just rain reflections? Is your macOS version up to date? Since drivers are built into it, latest version seems to be 10.14.3. Since I reworked part of the reflections in this update, can you check if this also happens on the previous version, found in the legacy tab, v1.19.

Thanks for going through those steps. I'm not sure why this happens, looks like that for some reason the "is reflective" flag is broken on your macOS drivers. Gonna check this somewhen, added it to the todo list. Also sent you a PM.
hey Sildur, im having a small issue with your 1.17 extreme shader pack for 1.12.2, everything looks amazing except for when i look towards the sky the clouds seem to get " wiped " away like with a squeegee. I'm not running a resource pack or anything its still vanilla looks.

Does this also happen with v1.20? That also works with 1.12.2. (1.7.10 - 1.13.2)
i cant even run 1.20 when i log in it runs fine, then as i go to walk forward my video goes all haywire and its just a light blue screen of nothing.
Wow, that doesn't sound good. Is optifine up to date? Are your drivers working correctly, maybe a clean installation helps. I recommend display driver uninstaller for that (DDU). Maybe the nvidia driver is just bad, I think it's the first one for the GTX 1660 Ti. If nothing works, I'm kinda out of ideas on this one, could be a faulty gpu. You might want to join one of the discord servers linked in my signature, maybe someone on there runs the same card and can give you some insight on this.

I have an issue downloading the file itself- I've downloaded optifine, it works fine and I'm trying to get the 1.3 version of your shader pack but when i click the link in mediafire all I get is a folder labeled 'shaders' lacking a .zip file. Sorry if you've already addressed this!

Not quite sure what you mean with that, the ingame minlight option found in the emissive lighting screen should brighten up dark spots.

Are you using safari to download the file? That's breaking it for some reason, so try using something like google chrome.

Not sure if anybody has brought this up yet, but when I have DoF and Motionblur both on, only the motionblur takes effect while DoF is not, but if I turn off motionblur, then the DoF takes effect. Is there any possible fix to this?

Caused by your mods, are you using astralsorcery? Disable it's custom sky stuff and things should work again.
Not sure if anybody has brought this up yet, but when I have DoF and Motionblur both on, only the motionblur takes effect while DoF is not, but if I turn off motionblur, then the DoF takes effect. Is there any possible fix to this?
This is intended, only one effect works at the time.

In case it hasn't been confirmed already, the AMD driver issue with persistent graphical artifacts also affects the Vega cards.
Which one? Some were fixed in v1.20.

Yep. It was astral sorcery. Thanks. Couldnt find the cfg though, so I just removed the mod from the pack.
