Hi Sildur. There is a glitch in 1.13.x and 1.14.x where all entities in the nether are black when you log in while in the nether with your Vibrant shaders loaded. I'm not able to replicate this issue with other shaders -- only Sildur's Vibrant Shaders have this glitch.
Here's a video where I replicate this:
This reddit post where someone else experienced the same issue I've had since 1.13 prompted me to post this. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help troubleshoot.

It's an optifine issue with reloading the shaderpack properly while switching dimensions.
Hello! I’ve done anything like this, nor do I know if this is the spot for this... but I need help. I have an Asus laptop that runs on Intel. I tried downloading the medium pack for recording/older PC’s and the Lite pack for Intel computers. Both packs when loaded into my game show a black screen and a run of different logs in the chat. I don’t know what anything really means mainly cuz I’m not a tech savvy person when it comes to windows computers. If possible can you help me out or tell me what I need to do to fix this...?

Those are compiling errors because caused by your gpu / driver. So try updating your gpu driver, if you don't know which one you need post your cpu model here.
Something that I noticed when playing with Enhanced Defaults is that when the moon rises and sun sets (or the other way around) the shadows and godrays switch very quickly between the moon and sun. In the Vibrant shaders the transition is very smooth, and doesn't have this "lightning effect."
Another very minor thing, in flat worlds the shaders produce these shadows at specific times of day. I was able to reproduce them the easiest by setting the time to 4000 and render distance to 25, they should appear and disappear from 4000 onwards.
Hey, I've been googling relentlessly to see what is causing this issue and I haven't been able to figure it out on my own so I figured I'd post here since I really want to use these shaders.
As soon as I load it up, with the default settings, this happens:
It happens with both High and Extreme packs. I have an AMD Radeon RX560 graphics card. Every piece of advice to try has only been for Nvidia cards, so I'm not sure where to even start; I've tried enabling and disabling things at random and nothing has helped. My graphics card is fully updated.

Latest driver is 19.6.1 are you sure you're running that one? Also make sure optifine is update aswell as my shaderpack, amd driver issues were fixed in v1.20. I have not heard of any issues on RX cards since then.

Oh, that would do it--I was running 1.18 of yours and didn't think to update it because I was so focused on it being a graphics card issue. It's working great now, thank you!!
Hello, I know you've answered this a few times before already, but I haven't been able to find a solution for my specific issue yet. I'm getting the horizon bug where the clouds are getting cut off like in , but only in different dimensions that have the normal sky showing. The overworld's sky is perfectly fine. The fixes you've suggested to others in the past was to disable the sky in Astral Sorcery or removing it entirely, but I have never had that mod installed or plan on it. I even made a fresh install with only optifine, jei, and compact machines (so I can test dimension skies), and I still got the bug. Any help on this would be very much appreciated!

Sounds like a mod issue to me, best way to check is by running vanilla with optifine only.
I don't think I can run a test with only Optifine as I'd need a dimension that uses a sky with clouds, which is the whole point of me trying to get answers the to issue in the first place. I did however test out two different installs. One with compact machines and optifine and one with mystcraft and optifine, both of which had the bug.

Hm, maybe you're out of luck then. Enhanced default properly works better. You could also disable vibrant shaders in those dimensions by placing empty folders with the dimension id inside the shaderpack zip.
I am running Sildur's Vibrant Shaders High 1.21. I have tried the fixes for previous versions listed here in this forum and have not been able to turn off the shader moon and see the moon phases. When I turn off the shader moon the moon completely disappears.
I have gone into shaders.properties and the only moon listing is this:
# moon=true|false
I tried adding this below that entry:
moon=true
That did not fix the issue.
I see comments about this going back to page 157, about 6 weeks ago.
Is this a known issue, and is there an actual fix?
The shaders are amazing, and we would hate to go back to vanilla to fix moon phases and slime hunting.

You also must disable custom stars, that should fix it.
Thanks for support!
How can I use the shaders for 1.14 if optifine isnt out for that version yet?
You can

Thanks for the fast reply!
EDIT:
That didn't work. still no moon.
Shader moon is off, shader stars are off, details sun and moon are on, and moon=true was added to the shader properties file in the archive.
Maybe its currently broken?
FWIW, we are using the chromahills texture pack as well, but that shouldn't change anything since the phases worked before applying the shader.
We are seeing the moon light source at night, but not the moon phase texture or moon at all.
We just tried the default skybox option and that didn't fix it either.
