Hey, I tried to download this and ended up with popups everywhere showing a bunch of inappropriate junk I never want to see again. Is there anywhere else I can download it from that would be safer?
I'm getting this bug around the edges of objects when looking in the direction of the moon/sun, I've tried everything to fix it but to no avail, as far as I know it's not related to godrays either.

Make sure you're running the latest version, v1.20. It includes various amd driver bugfixes.
is there a way to use the vibrant shaders but make the water look default? i tried symply deleting the water files but it makes things in the water look like they're not in the water or like floating above it.

You can enable the water texture in ingame shader options, but that's about it. If you want more of a vanilla look, try enhanced default.
Hi, a little help would be very appreciated. I can't seem to get specular mapping to work with your shader. I am running the most ultra version, do _s files not work? do i have to do something specific.
Im working on making 3d ores with reflective surfaces but cant seem to get it to work by just adding _s files in my resourcepack which seems to work just fine when I use Seus shaders. I would much rather get it working on your shaders because i find them much nicer! and the water works
I notice the ice blocks have a reflective surface with your shader and so i know it can be done, I just dont know what to try anymore.
Do you know of any way I could get this working? is there a way to add more blocks to the reflective list? Thanks!

Vibrant shaders doesn't support specular mapping because all buffers are in use, so there's no free space for that. You can however add your ids to the ice id inside block.properties to make it reflective.
Thanks for the reply!, I tried a few things out both the other day and now but I don't actually know what im doing so I can't get anything that produces results. What would I actually have to write and exactly in which line? I don't even know if the blocks I want to add have ID's anymore because apparently they are just called by their actual name since 1.13, im sure if i can get emerald_block to work i can work out the rest from there. How would I give that block reflective properties like ice? I've screenshotted where i am trying out stuff but im pretty lost. Thanks so much.

Did you look at block.properties inside my shaderpack already? It should be somewhat self explaining. You must use the new nominal ids yeah. Top part is for 1.13 and at the bottom of the file is a fallback for 1.12.2 and below.
I was sure I was doing the right thing, attatching a screenshot, It doesnt add reflections to the emerald block and allow it to transfer to the model.
But I didn't expect it to because if the ice block which is already reflective doesnt become reflective on the ore model I am using I don't think it will work at all. Thanks though.
Hi Sildur, I decided recently to try out some shaders for the first time, and after seeing a video comparing some of the more popular ones, yours is my first choice! Like someone else posted recently, though, the download links only send me to popups and spam. Is there another place I can try?

Hey! Awesome shader; however the night sky is to bright and blue for me! I prefer my texture pack (Pixel Reality) night sky, which is, in my opinion, more realistic. Is there any way to disable the shader's NIGHT (not day, or if I have to disable both, then I'll do it) sky texture? And replace it by the night sky of my texture pack? That's the only thing I would change in this shader. I got Sildur's Vibrant shaders 1.20 Lite on Mac (yeah... gotta use lite).
By the way, the "Moonlight" option doesn't affect the sky color/brightness.

First screenshot is sky I would change (Sildur's)
Second is how I would want it
This is currently not possible, I might look into this in the future.
I'm having issues with sparkles of light coming through the wood floors in particular, doesn't matter how deep I am, is there any way to fix this? You can see some of them even let god rays in. I'm using dbcraft 256, tweaked settings, but no luck.
Hi, I have been using your shaders for a long time, I find the best ones, I have version 1.20 I would like to understand how to change the color of the water, I find it too transparent on the surface and white, it would be better to be able to give a light blue color I have a light blue, a slightly less transparent, how can I do? here's how I see it I attach screenschot.

Hm, yeah there's abit of an issue with that, shadows usually get disabled at low light levels to prevent that sorta thing. There's not much you can do about it.

Next update will make water a bit more blue and also give more control over various color options.
Sure check your PMs.

Is there a fix for rendering issues when using these shaders and having Thermal Dynamics duct covers present?
https://hastebin.com/cowolafufo.rb
Using 1.12.2 forge
Shadersmod itself has some issues with mods. But usually enhanced default works better with mods than vibrant shaders.

Hey, Sildur !
I just wanted to drop by and thank your for providing your amazing shaders to the
Minecraft community and also for maintaining them up to date. Your shaders
are wonderful and help with my building creating a more realistic feel. I have
some pictures below if interested.
- Thank you, Sildur

Edit : I don't think it would work anyway, I just used the already reflective ice block to test it out and it doesnt produce reflections.
