- Improved sky during sunrise and sunset (transition from sun and moon, ticks 12250 and 23000)
- Improved water refraction and caustics.
- Minor code optimizations.
- Added custom stars and an ingame option to toggle them. (ty robobo1221)
- Added ingame option default skybox/stars to the sky options screen, causes some lighting issues with the sky during sunset and sunrise.
- Disabled support for default stars / skybox by default.
- Disabled alternative weather angle by default, you can still turn it back on if you want to.
- Fixed a bug caused by optimizations which caused certain particles to not render against the sky - firework particles finally work!
- Fixed option shader moon, it will now enable the default moon once it's disabled.
- Fixed tallgrass / doubleplants from waving out of sync in 1.13+ (top and bottom half)
- Fixed a bug with the horizon while underwater.
- Found the cause of broken block animations, fixed in optifine pre6 and newer.
- Removed default underwater texture overlay
Apparently there was another issue with tallgrass on previous minecraft versions, 1.12.2 and below. Just fixed it in both vibrant shaders and enhanced default without version change, redownload it if you run into said bug, it causes some wood blocks to wave like tallgrass.
It sure is getting tricky to support every minecraft version from at least 1.7.10 up to 1.13.1.
I've got the shaderpack working but cant seem to get water to look nicer, still looks default. Im using the vibrant extreme 1.8. In the preview pictures it shows it's meant to change the water but its not in my game. Im using it on 1.7.10 version of minecraft. Have I done something wrong or is there a setting to change to get the water looking real instead of default.
Update optifine, latest version for 1.7.10 is E7: https://optifine.net/downloads Also make sure to only use optifine not the old standalone shadersmod. If it's still not working try updating your gpu drivers and look for error messages in the ingame chat after selecting my pack.
Hey, thanks for the quick update. So I've found an issue in Enhanced Default:
The Glowing effect doesn't create an outline, but instead it makes entities render super weirdly (also happens in your vibrant shader iirc). It seems to render the sides of a mob that you're not looking at or something, creating a weird hollowed out effect.
This is easily my favorite shader pack! Are there any plans to add puddle & reflection effects when it rains? (SEUS does this, but its basically the only thing I really like about that pack, plus this one updates more frequently) I understand it's probably resource intensive and difficult to do so I don't blame you if its not something you're gonna put time into. It does make rain look really really cool tho.

Hello Sildur, i've got a problem with your vibrant shaders, when i'm in the end, i haven't a void sky, but your custom sky, so the ground is really dark and i don't know how to solve this problem, that never happened before you have redone the sky.
Good catch, I forgot to include a dummy folder to auto disable my shaders in the end. You can do that yourself by creating an empty folder called world1 and moving it into the shaderpack zip file. Or you can redownload vibrant shaders, just fixed this without version change.
Hi Sildur, I created this account to report a bug. I'm having a problem with your shaders (version 1.17 and 1.18, not sure about the others): if I upgrade my amd graphic card driver (I have an rx 460) after the 18.6.1 update, the water texture starts glitching (like in this video at minute 1:20: However, this only happens if the water is deep enough, if it's only 1 block tall the problem doesn't appear (I'm not totally sure, i didn't tested it much). I first met the problem updating from the driver version 18.6.1 to 18.8.1 a couple months ago, and reverting to 18.5.1 solved the problem. But when yesterday I updated to 18.10.1 (clean install) the glitching was still there. Any ideas? Can this be fixed without reverting to the previous driver or difficult procedures? Anyway, thank you so much for your work! Your shaders are my favorites!
Are you sure you're using my shaderpacks? Never saw this issue in any other packs then SEUS. If it's a driver issue I can't do much about it since I don't own the hardware to test this on.
Yes, I'm sure, it's there for all the vibrant variants (low, medium etc... also on 1.166). Looks like the problem is for large pools of water (tried in a superflat world with only one layer of water), it doesn't matter if it's deep or not. It's also present in 1.12. Are you sure you can't do anything about it? Maybe I can send screenshots and logs, I don't know, or give you more details...

It should be up to the devs to fix their drivers instead of me trying to find a workaround. Which is really hard to do since I do not own the hardware to test my code on. Does it happen in the lite preset aswell? This one has no reflections, also try enhanced default, it's raytracer is similar to vibrant shaders, might be able to figure something out based on that.

Yes, it happens on the lite preset as well, but the enhanced version has always worked fine for me, it's only on the vibrants. I also tried disabling water parallax mapping, but the problem remains there. I'm trying to attach a screenshot but the forum says "an unknow error has occured". Thanks in advance for your replies
If it helps, I can make a short video about it and upload it on youtube tomorrow, to show how the problem appears. I want to save you as much time as I can, so if I can do something to make things easier tell me, the problem is mine after all...

hey, the global illumination is planned for future versions of Sildurs Vibrant ?
It's currently not planned.

both my firewall and anti virus says that your download links redirects to malicious websites... what site have you uploaded your shaders to?

Mediafire, sent you a PM with some mirrors.

Holy crud, thanks for the quick response ^.^
That's intended, vibrant shader does currently not support end. End shaders are rather tricky.
