Whenever i go into a game with the Sildur's Vibrant shaders 1.166 Lite i just get a black screen, has anyone else reported this? is there any fix?
EDIT: i have a intel i-5 4440 @ 3.10GHz, i tried updating my driver from the intel website but when i downloaded it it said error this computer does not meet minimum requirements

I meet the same problem. When I use Vibrant, the whole screen is black. Some of other shaderpacks, too. The only normal one is Enchanted Default, whichever I use water-reflex or shader, waving or blur. I suppose that my computer is to weak. I use win10 with Java 8 64bit, OptiFine C7, 1.12.

This will restore the generic intel device id, so for future updates you can use the normal setup again.

Are you sure you picked the 64bit version? If you follow the guide exactly it should work. Otherwise you might have to update your win8.1 to the latest available version. I recommend going straight to windows 10, you can still upgrade for free: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Uh, but I use win10 and 64bit. Look at https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81500/-3000 (actually I use this), nothing for win10 or 64bit. And according to 鲁大师 (Ludashi), I don't have an independent vedio card. But I can still use Enchanted Default normally.
I think that you could translate the things in shaderpacks into other languages. For example, for Enchanted Default, the "zh_CN" translation may be:

Yeah you can translate the options to any language. I could english, german and probably french, but I rather spend that time on the shaders instead, which is why I only do them in english.

Hi! Im sorry if this has been asked many times before (tried searching for it, didn't find it) but how can i adjust the brightness of the surface when the sun shines in the enhanced default one? Daytime just seems a little darker to me than in any other shaders. Since the shader controls the lights i guess it should be adjustable in every version (which has sunlight and shadows). I'm not talking about the brightness of the sun itself when you look at it, i mean the surfaces (the ground for example) which the sun's light reaches. The brightness of the shadows is just fine but the brightness of daytime is a little dark in my opinion. Can someone help me with this one pls?

Hm, use a different editor maybe, like notepad++. As for your second issue, you might have to update your gpu drivers.

Yeah because that one is not for your gpu. The latest driver for an intel hd 3000 is .4229, found here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24970/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-32bit?product=81500
However your hd 3000 might be to old to support shaders / missing driver support by intel (for opengl).

I believe one of your mods is causing this, so check vanilla mc with optifine only. Enhanced default might work with whatever mods causing this.
