This mod is amazing, but I have one request. Could you change the commands so that they aren't caps sensitive? It's a bit annoying having to type "ReplaceBlocks" instead of just "replaceblocks". Not that big of a deal, but It would be great if you did this!

You can press "Tab" if you type a part of a filter. It will automatically fill the word for you.
This looks like a cool mod, but one suggestion. Could you add something so that everything freezes except you? (i.e. no ticks pass, all entities freeze including falling sand and things) A lot of filters are not very useful unless everything is frozen between ticks- one of the reasons MCedit is great. If you could figure this out (and a lot of SethBling's filters get translated) then I will definitely be using this mod a ton!
I am kind of suck - I've tried to install this mod, did what it said in the installation section, but I get no changes in game. I already have Forge installed as I am running a few other mods. I've downloaded GuiLib as well as the actual mod and placed them in my 'mods' folder, am I supposed to extract the .zip's or is there something else?
Are you running the Forge profile? Does the mod show up in the mod list?

Would you guys like the default filters to be all lower case?

I looked into this and it's possible to do, although very hard and definitely requiring a core mod. If I do ever get around to it, I'll probably make a freeze/unfreeze command that freezes the entire server - ALL worlds at once.
Davidee, you've done it again! You've made a slightly complexed program into an amazingly easy, in-game, fast tool!
I'm using this and your in game nbtedit, to make an adventure map, and trust me, you have made it into the credits ;3
The above post makes me extremely happy. Ease of use (compared to MCEdit and the like) was one of the goals for this mod when the idea came up for it. I'm glad to see that goal achieved due to Davidee's excellent work! Hopefully it gives many more people the opportunity to try scripts and filters, and maybe inspire them to make some new ones.

I think keeping them uppercase is fine, it looks neater and better. I also think that the freeze unfreeze command would be cool but I don't need it. Thanks
Click the above image for science! Some people think it's a scam. But it's not. Why else would I put this in my sig?
Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door is by far the world's best Nintendo game ever made.
Do you want a cookie? Yes:
Hey I was wondering if you saw the filter I was talking about. If you did do you think you can add that. It's fine if you can.I was also wondering if you have any updates planned. Sorry if I'm bothering you. Thanks
Yes, I'm using MagicLauncher and running Forge. The mods are selected, do they need to be inside the actual minecraft .jar or something? Or do I need to extract the zips?
I believe it's because you are using the magic launcher. So, you must put the mods into the mods folder. And also, make sure you don't have other mods in the folder.
Hey, i love your mods, but i wish you could compile sethbling's structurespawner2 filter, so map making would be easier, and could you think of making support to .py files? it would be easier to just drag the filters you want into the scripts folder

I haven't worked on the mod recently - I've been busy IRL. I'll get around to it eventually, but for now, I think there should be some sort of filter thread, yes? That would make it easier for you guys to request + share filters.
Somes times ago, I've wanted to start a project that would does NBTedit, WorldEdit and MCEdit ingame, if you could make it it would be really great :
My main idea was wand, a lot of wand :
Nbtedit wand : it would be used by left clicking to edit everything that we can touch, would let edit the ByteArray part of a world, for me if you are a mapmaker, you should be able to edit everything that could be edited by a external tool. Right clicking would access to a Gui that would let us modify things that we can't touch (like scoreboard.dat) but also let us prepare a modification to be instantly applied instead of displaying the gui when left clicking. So you would be able to have a lot of nbtedit wand with their own properties.
Sorry but actually with your nbtedit mod, I doesn't found a way to recreate a Minecart Spawner or a Minecart Block, since with an external editor, it was so easy ...
Selector wand : with the left click, you would be able to select a region by the two corner, right click would open a GUI to save, combine, extend, move or contract a selection. If you combine two selection wands, they are saved separatly in the wand, so if used with another tool, it would take in consideration the two selections (like scale things in the first selection to the second selection)
Filter Wand : It would work by putting a selector wand with a selection in that wand, it would be capable of executing scripts like yours, but I think that important to execute native MCEdit scripts. If a wand is used without a selection, it would let us
God wand : It would let modify global world properties like stopping or slowing down the flow of the time(thus letting for example a 1 redstone ticks per seconds, stopping flowing water ... the only thing that would not be affected are players), having noclip (simply like in farlands), showing invisible blocks (like the mcedit function), placing and breaking block without doing a block update. PLacing block without surfaces ...
Chunk wand : Firstly, this would let stopping world generation, and doing everything like the MCEdit Chunks Options.
Sweet, pretty cool ideas
I have already the In-Game NBTEdit mod, that might be what you're looking for - I'm fairly certain the only thing that you can't do with it at the moment is edit the scoreboard/files/offline players
Now that's an interesting idea - that would totally change how the system works, but it's entirely doable. I'll think about it
I was thinking about a wand (or command, key binding?) that opens a GUI list of all of the filters - maybe something like that?
I looked into it and it's inherently unsafe. Sorry
Something that regenerates a chunk is entirely possible... is that what you're looking for?
Another feature which I think is a must is a /freeze command, which of course would freeze all entities and time.
I'll get around to it eventually, I'm just fairly busy at the moment. If you guys could create an ordered list (by preference) of the default scripts that you'd like to see, that would be a great starting point

Maybe create a poll so we can vote for the ones we want?
Adding traz's block spawning filter along with Seths would be really cool.
You can press "Tab" if you type a part of a filter. It will automatically fill the word for you.
Edit: Although, that feature would be nice.
Are you running the Forge profile? Does the mod show up in the mod list?
It needs to be ported to Javascript, unfortunately.

Yes, the server needs to have the mod installed (as well as client).
What filters do you want?
