Now available is my new money mod which adds a total of 10 different coins, each one worth 8 of it's predecessor which allows for a scaling money system into the millions. Each coin is called a bit, as I wanted something different from coin. Here's how it's currently broken down:
Currency List
Copper Bit (Value = 1) - The standard and baseline for all other coins.
Iron Bit (Value = 8)
Silver Bit (Value = 64)
Gold Bit (Value = 512)
Diamond Bit (Value = 4096) - Why stop here and have stacks and stacks of diamond bits?
Platinum Bit (Value = 32,768)
Ethreal Bit (Value = 262,144)
Void Bit (Value = 2,097,152)
Astral Bit (Value = 16,777,216)
Omega Bit (Value = 134,217,728)
If someone manages to get a stack of Omega Bits, I'll be happy to expand the list further to keep up.

They're coins...really...nothing fancy so why bother putting up a list of 16x16 images that really reflect round objects shaped like coins. Once I add the other blocks, I'll update with pictures, recipes, and more. At this stage, it's really simple. If you wont download because I don't have a picture here, then don't download it.
Why?
I've been looking for money mods for my server, and a way for currency to be traded among everyone and used in a manner that makes sense. Well, there was plenty for bukkit, but I wanted something that was a simple zip mod I could just drop into the FTB client and run.
How it Works
It's simple really - if you want to change your coins from one value to the higher value, put 8 coins into a crafting grid and there you go! Upgraded bit! However, if you want to break down your bits, well you can do that too! Simply drop it by itself into the grid and pull out 8 shiny new bits of the next lower tier.
At this time the only way to get these coins is through creative. However, a server admin could easily take items in trade for coins to kick off the currency or just give everyone some starting currency. Once the other machines are out, you'll be able to convert pretty much any block into currency through the Item Exchanger.
Coming Soon
I want to expand on this a bit, and for that I'm going to redo this post so it looks all shiny and graphically pleasing with pictures and headers and colors...all the brightness that most of the larger mods have on their pages. I'm also going to be adding a few features to utilize this system - as follows:
* Item Exchanger - Will come with an editable config file which will have a list and the values of each item. The Item Exchanger will allow you to put in up to a stack of items, and it will fill a grid next to it with bits equal to the total value of what you put in. Want to put in more items? Sure! Keep dropping in items/stacks and watch the pile grow. The item exchanger will auto upgrade the bits in its grid to the highest currency so you're not stuck with combining the bits yourself.
* Bank Block - Will allow each player to deposit and withdraw currency from it as though it were an ATM.
* Trader - Allows the users to set up a trader with items they wish to sell with a large inventory, and the ability to set a price for each item. Allows traders and users to use their bank ballance or simply drop coins into the payment slot until the selected items are paid for in full to have the trader place them in your inventory.
* Bazaar - Looking for a specific item? Not sure who has the best price or just want to compare prices? This block will communicate with trader blocks on the server and will display the prices for the item in question and the prices for each trader set up selling that item/block. Keep in mind you can't purchase form here - you will still need to find it and trade with it.

If someone wishes to utilize this mod in any way, please by all means do so. This is completely open to the public and for all to use. I'll be updating the graphics and polishing it as I go, and will probably add more blocks and items along the same system. All I ask for is credit for at least starting the idea.
Installatition
Really simple - download the zip and drop it into your mods folder. Nothing fancy. You can also add it using the FTB Launcher as you would any other mod.
Conflicts
As I'm new to coding, and I've no idea how to set up a config file yet, the item IDs are hard coded. If there are item ID conflicts, please try to shuffle your ID's around the following: Item IDs 3801 - 3810
Again I apologize for the inconvenience. This will change in an update very soon. I will also be adding 1.6.2 compatibility shortly as well.
