It seems that no matter what size map i use the projection always looks incomplete. Am I doing something wrong? I can't really find very much info on the cartographer/height map projector out there. What tutorials there are out there are pretty limited.
no, you are doing nothing wrong. the height map doesn't look like a complete map.
Okay, no matter what I do, this mod crashes. When I try to start up minecraft with Open Blocks and Open Mods lid, it just crashes. I have tried to fix it by having them being the only two mods, but it still crashes. All I have to do is put them in the Mods folder, right? That's what I do with all of my other mods, and they work perfectly.

Hey Mikeemoo. Just a suggestion here, are you able to make the elevators camouflageable ? Like with carpenter's blocks. I think it'd be a great addition! Thanks!
The dual wielding mod was great, but unfortunately stopped updating long ago. I think it would be great to resurrect it in open blocks. My idea is something similar to a bionic hand. Right clicking with it would activate dual wielding mode. In this mode the inventory cannot be accessed and items cannot be dropped. The player is given 2 hotbars, the items of the second hotbar contains the items from the inventory row nearest the hotbar. The left hand can be operated by using q to break and e to place. Both hotbars select the same slot at the same time (of slot 7 is selected by number keys or mouse wheel both hotbars will select 7.) finally to deactivate simply right click again with the hand. Should be rather expensive, containing diamond and emerald blocks, or a nether star.
Hi, I'm getting a crash when trying to open the creative tab for open peripherals. You might already know that by using your open eye,
It only happens in the new version.
Hiya, I updated from an older version to the 1.2.8 and did all the updates, requiring computercraft etc. and I got a few mismatches on a world I already had openblocks on so i ignored the mismatches and everythign seems fine except:The Tanks no longer seem to fill vertically above the level the drain is on. Is this intended or is this possibly a bug from updating from an older version of openblocks?
Update 1: Removed the jar files and configs from pack and started game removing all openblocks items. Re-installed jars to mod folder and still the same thing.
Revoked previous statement about enchanting levels due to my idiocy of not remembering bookcases. Still would like to know if the tanks are purposely not supposed to fill over the level the drain is on though.
I noticed the openperipherals on the website states the download is 1.3 but the actual download file is named 1.4 Is there a possible update problem with the files?Id just like to know if these are my own issues or if others are experiencing the same thing with 1.2.8

so i just right clicked a chicken trophy with a portal gun? and my minecraft commited suicide
not a major bug...as i can avoid it but it should be fixed...
should probably post a duplicate report for ichun.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
24 hours gone again, wasted in futility, welcome to minecraft modding, that is (unfortunately) our community.
(an ode to minecraft modding)
i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
The dropper seems to eat up one of my items every time I throw some in there. Eg, if I throw in 15 carrots, it will only drop 14. If I throw in just a single carrot, it won't drop anything. Which kinda sucks cause I'm using it to drop raw metal into the furnace from Thaumcraft so I'm wasting a lot of metal. Any one else having this problem?
...droppers are from Vanilla Minecraft, dude. Unless you're using some sort of special OpenBlocks dropper. I think there might be one of those, not positive.

I have observed this as well. The item dropper appears to eat any single item stack. So if you're piping in items fast enough with a fast enough pulse, you'll lose both the first and the last item.
Fill all nine slots with a single item and it will fail to drop any of them, destroying them instead.
This behavior only appeared after I updated to 1.2.8.
I would recommend adding grapple hooks with like a 50 block range. And to control how close you are to the block you shot at, you could press space to get closer and shift to lower yourself. Also you could double-tap space, then hold space and it would make you rush at the block or large mob. It would also be cool if you could pull smaller or player-sized mobs towards you and pull yourself to larger mobs. I hope you will consider adding this feature.
I think I found a pretty bad bug. And by pretty, I mean severely. The gravestones are very buggy. The example I'm using here is when they do not form, some of your stuff is thrown on the ground, and the rest is deleted. Both times that this happened to me today has been when a Creeper blew me up and launched me into the air. Othetwise they're just fine, except for acting like anvils when you walk against them.
thats a fantastic idea
no, you are doing nothing wrong. the height map doesn't look like a complete map.

update forge, you are way behind
I also strongly recommend people install OpenEye, which helps mod developers deal with crashes, so we can make the game better for you
Lots of fixes, plus a few new handy little features, such as a pedometer
It only happens in the new version.
Couldn't agree more. Most missed block? Elevators.....
I noticed the openperipherals on the website states the download is 1.3 but the actual download file is named 1.4 Is there a possible update problem with the files?Id just like to know if these are my own issues or if others are experiencing the same thing with 1.2.8
Ty.
Elevators, tanks, liquidXP, sprinklers....it's all awesome...waiting waiting waiting...

so i just right clicked a chicken trophy with a portal gun? and my minecraft commited suicide
not a major bug...as i can avoid it but it should be fixed...
24 hours gone again, wasted in futility, welcome to minecraft modding, that is (unfortunately) our community.
(an ode to minecraft modding)
i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
...droppers are from Vanilla Minecraft, dude.
I think the dropbox download for OpenBlocks is dead.EDIT: Internet was being derpy. Sorry about this.
