Simple question here. How would I go with making an automated wood farm with EnderIO? Whenever I try, it seems I use more wood to keep the farm active than I produce, also is the farm supposed to destroy some of the wood received? I once only got like 4 logs from a huge oak tree which definitely had more than 20 logs.
first know that Ender IO Farming Station uses 40/65/93 RF/tick constantly ( depending if there is a capacitor installed or not ) + 250-500 RF per log and it needs an axe to work ,if you have Extra Utilities then use Healing Axe as it has no durability and will never break or Dark Steel Axe with empowered and unbreaking or auto craft stone/wood axes
sometimes the tree will not be chopped entirely and some leafs might stay so having fast Leaf Dacey mod installed is a good option , also if the tree is too big some logs will just drop in the ground so make sure you are outputting the wood as fast as possible ( 15 speed upgrades should be enough) and have either Vacuum Hopper from OB or Vacuum Chest to suck the the dropped logs in case if it still can't keep up
Wait a moment please, let me think about it.
You was lazy, so you invented your own "power" by copying existing, widely accepted interface just to be perpendicular to the community.
Now, you expect community to lean to your newly invented copy, because you're lazy and… how that makes any sense?

24 hours gone again, wasted in futility, welcome to minecraft modding, that is (unfortunately) our community.

i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
Having a problem with the ender-rail setup. I've been playing the FTB Direwolf 20 1.7 mod pack on my server while following along on his videos and creating his builds along with him. I am at the part where he makes a really over complicated rail setup using the dimensional transceiver with ender rail to go between the base camp and the quarry. The two dimensional transceivers are connected with power, they both have the same rail channel set to sending and receiving but the transport only works one way. I can get from the quarry to my base perfectly. When I try to go from the bas to the quarry the mine cart just rolls over the ender rail as if it isn't there. It is acting as if the send/recieve channel has not be set properly going one way, but as far as I can see it is.
This is the transceiver that is supplying the power, mind you. It is definitely connected to the other one. It just won't send. I've restarted the server, double checked everything with the channels and power, moved the transceiver setup around to different areas. . . triple checked the settings. . . used different dimensional transceivers and rail. . .. nothing is helping. I can go from my quarry to my base camp on a mine cart perfectly, I just can't go from the base camp to the quarry. I swear, the rail tab settings are set the same. I even tried deleting the channels and setting them all up again on both ends. . . . beating my head against the wall.
I browsed through github and didn't see the issue reported as a bug. . . I also read back a few pages here to see if it came up. Nothing seems to be mentioned which makes me think it is only me, somehow, but I don't know what else to try. Anyone have any ideas about conflicts or whatever?
UPDATE: I was also having trouble getting the dimensional transceiver to work when hooking the pipes up directly to it rather than the rail system. A chunk loader seems to have fixed that so I am assuming I had some sort of chunk loading problem. Direwolf20 didn't have the issue but I noticed my quarry is starting on a far chunk not the one next to it. I also may not have had a chunk loading device installed in my base camp yet, though I thought I did.
Hey Crazypants / Knowledgable Ender IO users, I was wondering the relatively new Ender Rails support Steve's Carts 2 minecarts as well as vanilla ones?
Thanks for the info,
TheMysticalPug
it definitely works on vanilla minecarts , i don't know about SC2 though but i don't see why it shouldn't work
Is there going to be gas support in the future? I would love to have the ability to run my steam lines and the lines for mechanism gasses through Ender IO. I LOVE the ability to reduce the space required for some cool machine builds.

you mean Mekansim ? in the current version 2.2.8 381 only Mekansim 7 and lower is supported
if you want the gas conduit to work on Mekansim 8 you need to use the latest beta available
I just recently started using Ender IO and I absolutely love it! I used to use IndustrialCraft, but I felt it was getting overly complex with a lot of the new features, and I wasn't happy with the direction the mod was taking.
I run a very small, private server, and I'm always looking for new mods to add in to enhance our experience and keep people playing. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some add-ons (if they exist) for Ender IO, or any mods with good synergy with this one. I already have Metallurgy, Tinkers Construct, and Forestry on the server.
I took RF API as an example. I know, but... I'm lazy, and I don't have that much time doing anything..

lehjr:
Then how are you going to maintain it?
You know.. I do RJCraft and RJDynamics, they are using RJ API, soo... yeah

It doesn't.
i summon XKCD to end this debate:
it's true, ya know.

you have to add the group name too
<recipeGroup name="EnderIO">
