I have a server that I started using 2.2.8.381, there's reportedly some new toys in 2.3 beta that hear I want (honestly I haven't been able to find a changeog anywhere?) but I wanted to know if replacing 2.2.8.381 and supporting mods should be okay or if it's guaranteed to break existing stuff? I can do a backup and what not and just try it, but I figured I'd ask first

Thank you very much for the changelogs... they'll make good reading. As far as TTcore... I never had it that I know of. I've had EnderCore for the past two months or so I believe.
I developed a question in my tinkering, going to test later but, can the Inventory Panel (which is beast, btw) work through a Dimensional Transceiver or does it have to be directly connected to the inventories?
i don't see why it shouldn't work however the panel will only show the stored items in the DT buffer slots so i don't see the practical use of it
if you don't mind then check out Ender Rift , with EIO (2.3 beta) Inventory Panel it's basically a chest that can store at least 2.14 billion of each item with at least 10,000 different slots. just make sure that you have a beastly power generator to keep it well fed once it gets too big (i recommend NuclearCraft)
Yes, dire slime was the development name of it. However, it should drop something (clay) and have a spawn egg.
If you have the reliquary mod installed they also drop some components therefrom. (I can't remember what it is, but its a glowing red "core" of some kind)
So, I've now almost completely transitioned away from Thermal Expansion (much props to the COFH guys, because it's a solid mod, but let's face it... we have Ender IO :P) The only thing that I'm missing now that's really hurting me is the Autopackager mod, that guy made blocks automatically (critical for Magical Crops, IMHO) from whatever material you put in a chest on its left and output to a chest on the right... Didn't have to provide recipes or anything, as long as whatever you put in the input can be crafted 2x2 or 3x3, it puts it together. Unfortunately, the mod has an actual dependency on TE (though an alternate recipe would probably fix that, maybe including the RF API if it's not there.). Does anyone know another mod that provides this functionality, or another method of doing this that doesn't involve having to have a separate crafter for each type of material?

Not at the moment, but we might do that at some point. It would certainly make sense.

Autopackager requires TE? Excuse me while I go laugh myself to death. I know that Factorization has such a block (or used to, he's always removing things from that mod) but it also comes with...the rest of Factorization. I don't know of any others that do what autopackager does. Maybe I'll make my own. Sounds stupid simple
I use storage drawers to auto compress cobble. It has a compacting drawer that can do only 3x3 recipes. (Which is what magical crops requires most of the time I do believe.) You'd just require a separate drawer for each essence.

So I'm at a loss. This does not hard-crash the client, simply boots it from the server, the server doesn't throw an error in any way. This is the error log, I cannot figure out what is wrong so after many, many hours I finally give up and come to all of you for help. A friend said it was possible to use MineTweaker to simply disable certain entities from spawning I'm not sure as to how. Onto the crash log.

I didn't see anywhere in the EnderIO configs or the EnderZoo configs a way to disable certain spawns, or simply all spawns. To be perfectly honest I don't really care about the mobs the mod spawns, we use it for other things, so if I could just disable them all together so this error isn't thrown (Assuming this is infact some error with an entity as it seems to be.) That'd be great. Thanks for any help.
Edit: So, upon further exploring the problem seems to be that the Client has EnderIO Wither Skeletons in Entity ID slot 29, the server has them in EntityID slot 30, how exactly do I solve this conflict? As it's crashing people constantly. Your config has no way to hard-set an entity ID
I use storage drawers to auto compress cobble. It has a compacting drawer that can do only 3x3 recipes. (Which is what magical crops requires most of the time I do believe.) You'd just require a separate drawer for each essence.
Hmm. Maybe there's something to this. I do use storage drawers, and I do use the compacting drawers... Maybe there's a way I can use that with Refined Relocation or even filtered item conduits to use one as a packager and avoid having to have one for every crop. I'll look at it.

Certainly let me know if you make it and want testers.

I'm running into what I believe is an error with the Zombie Generator and I'd like to know if there is a bug I should report or if I'm messing things up myself.
The Generator works fine until it fills up both it's stored energy and Nutrient Distillation. At this point it stops generating energy and will not start again. The 100K RF buffer can be emptied out just fine, but the Generator will sit with 2000/2000 mB of Nutrient Distillation and 0/100000 RF doing nothing. As long as the generator never maxes out both Nutrient Distillation and RF it's fine, but once that happens it becomes stuck and must be broken and replaced.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Ender IO 2.3.0.422
EnderCore 0.2.0.31
Edit/Fix:
This is a know issue and the result of some intended behavior. It seems that when both the RF and Distillation are maxed on a Zombie Generator it goes into a kind of standby, and to wake it up again you need to lower the stored RF by a certain amount. For the default 80 RF/T happens when you drop it to about 90K RF in the buffer. However, if you set the generation rate higher that also seems to increase the amount you need to pull to wake it back up. At 400 RF/T it must be dropped to about 20K before it wakes up and with 600 RF/T it cannot be woken back up even if completely drained.
Edit 2: As of the date of posting the current cutoff is 499 RF/T A change is likely coming via a config option in the next beta release.
I can do a backup and what not and just try it, but I figured I'd ask first
http://ci.tterrag.com/job/EnderIO/changes
start from 382 until you reach 420 , oh and it's not just new toys it's like an entirely different mod !
i suggest that you delete EIO config folder and replace TTcore with Ender Core , and don't worry about it breaking your existing world
Thank you very much for the changelogs... they'll make good reading.
I'm playing with the 2.3 beta and I just want to say that I LOVE the new features. Much happiness was made for me!

I have no idea how I ever played Vanilla.
check out Comapcter
it does not require TE but it does require CoFH core or CoFHLib at the very least

Hmm. Maybe there's something to this. I do use storage drawers, and I do use the compacting drawers... Maybe there's a way I can use that with Refined Relocation or even filtered item conduits to use one as a packager and avoid having to have one for every crop. I'll look at it.
Certainly let me know if you make it and want testers.
Permission for modpacks is not required. You can provide a link if you want.
Any review of this?... Totally excited with the Inventory Panel...
it's still mostly in beta so nope , but
YAY! THANKS!
Does anyone know how to write and edit recipes for the Soul Binder?
sadly it's not possible
