I updated ender IO to 2.2.5.317 and started getting a crash when I attached generators to conduits or capacitors, so I updated Extra Utilities to 1.2.1 which says as part of the release notes: "Updated: Added support for new RF API interfaces" but I'm still getting the attaching generator to capacitor/conduit crash attached below
I've done the whole break it and replace it, that didn't work. Not sure what I should do. Anyone able to reproduce this?

Sorry if it was asked before, but in EnderIO-1.7.10-2.2.6.317 i can't use non-vanilla hoes anymore. It's intentional or just a bug?
try updating to the latest FORGE , the wooding hoe might not work however anything else should work even some modded ones also the slot doesn't matter now you can put axe in hoe slot and vise-verse
Just started messing around with the Farming Station and noticed the constant power drain [aka ye olde Forestry machine behaviour]. Is this working as intended [if so, bad idea IMO...not very green].
yeah it drains 40 rf/tick with no upgrades by default at all times to work , if you don't like it then change this in the config file

Is there any way to disable the annoying semi-constant announcements in chat when killer joe has killed something.. it even does that when it is 60+ blocks away it seems.
i think it only does that when it kills a player partially because it can hit through walls

The Extra Utlities energy transfer nodes do appear to work when interacting with enderIO machines, but don't output power to any of the capacitor banks.
I think I'll just downgrade ender IO until extra Utilities updates. My entire base is currently founded on extra Utilities lava power tied to huge capacitor banks.

just so you know only Vanilla mobs except villagers & iron golem and Ender Zoo mobs can be used to create powered spawner if you want to add mobs from other mods you need to add it in the config
first get a Broken Spawner of any mob you get it by mining any vanilla or modded spawner with iron or higher pickaxe then craft a Powered Spawner
if you want to change the broken spawner mob type then craft a soul vial then capture the mob you want to change to it REMEMBER only Vanilla mobs except villagers & iron golem and Ender Zoo mobs can be used by default then craft a Soul Binder and supply it with power
now put the Soul Vial of the mob and a Broken Spawner of any type then hit take player XP you can also pump Liquid XP if you so desire , you need 30 levels to change the broken spawner type and 2.5 Million RF it will take a lot of time so you might want to consider adding a Double-Layered or Octadic Capacitor
then you put the Powered Spawner in the first slot in an anvil the LEFT one and the Broken Spawner in the RIGHT slot , you need 15 levels
now just supply it with power and it will spawn , be aware every mob has a energy multiplier Chicken being the lowest and Enderman is the highest
also if you don't kill spawned mobs fast then it will stop spawning once it reach 6 mobs but continue to eat up your energy
you can add a Double-Layered or Octadic Capacitor to speed up the spawning but it will eat up more energy , for example Enderman Powered Spawner with Octadic upgrade will use 15000 RF/tick

I think that's a thaumcraft thing with v4.2.3.0, I get it with MFR and the grinder. I noticed I got it as well when I was dealing with blood magic, the only common factor was when the loot items dropped.

it works fine for me using the same EIO version with the latest Forge 1286 go Update you never know
BTW you can only spawn Wither Skeleton in the nether so you don't need to capture a wither skeleton just grab a normal skeleton

i tried EIO spawners if you make a wither skeleton powered spawner and run it in the overworld it will just spawn normal skeletons the same applies for powered skeleton spawner spawn wither skeleton in the nether
i suggest sticking to MFR spawner it's way better EIO spawners will just eats your resource and power , Skeletons multiplier is 2 so with octadic upgrade that's a 3000 rf/tick and you will probably need it the spawning rate is really slow
I agree with the above. EIO has tons of strengths...but alas, Powered Spawners isn't one of them. They're great to have and use but only if you don't have another option. And you need to use the highest tier upgrade [with highest energy draw] for a useful spawn rate. If you can stick with MFR spawners do so.

it's because of the latest EiO version uses a new RF API version even newer than most mods like Extra Utilities v1.2.1 so it's not EIO fault per-say it's because mods don't get updated as fast as EIO you can use older version and everything will be good to go

I don't understand the fuzz about EIO spawners.. They are fine.. At least not so silly overpowered. If you need faster spawn times, use others.. Or add an extra spawner.
it's probably because of the power consumption in order to spawn mobs with a reasonable spawn rate one will need a big reactor power to do that
in your world you are probably generating metric ton of energy mostly not used however for EIO newcomers they see this as a complete waste of energy even with no upgrades it use at least 320 rf/tick and that's might seems insignificant number but its a lot
it's just as you said it's not as silly overpowered as some other spawning mods like Soul Shards Spawners the tier 5 is so overpowered killing 1000+of a mob is really nothing in modpacks even in normal modded with few mods or simply right clicking on a that mob spawner with the shard will increase the count by 200 ,, even MFR auto-spawners are overpowered you can just switch the mob type so easily thank god it requires mob essence to work but even that still make it OP as HELL
Slight problem with the Farming Station 2x2 Jungle Tree farm. Using a steady supply of stone axes, sometimes the axe-in-use will run out of durability mid-tree-cutting. Not a problem since another axe is always ready, right? Wrong...sometimes the FS will leave part of the uncut tree behind, including logs. This will effectively either kill the farm or severely decrease production. As a workaround, I've switched the farm over to use an unbreakable axe.
Edit: Even with an unbreakable axe, this problem still occurs [axe still present in FS and I'm in area so not chunk loading problem].
Edit: Also happens with Oak, tho much less frequently. And this is with the latest stable dev build.
Not sure what Im doing wrong but trying to place dark helm and dark legging on any anvil with a potion it needs to upgrade just wont work, is there another way to do this or do you think it may be a mod conflict?

The Extra Utlities energy transfer nodes do appear to work when interacting with enderIO machines, but don't output power to any of the capacitor banks.
I think I'll just downgrade ender IO until extra Utilities updates. My entire base is currently founded on extra Utilities lava power tied to huge capacitor banks.

just so you know only Vanilla mobs except villagers & iron golem and Ender Zoo mobs can be used to create powered spawner if you want to add mobs from other mods you need to add it in the config
first get a Broken Spawner of any mob you get it by mining any vanilla or modded spawner with iron or higher pickaxe then craft a Powered Spawner
if you want to change the broken spawner mob type then craft a soul vial then capture the mob you want to change to it REMEMBER only Vanilla mobs except villagers & iron golem and Ender Zoo mobs can be used by default then craft a Soul Binder and supply it with power
now put the Soul Vial of the mob and a Broken Spawner of any type then hit take player XP you can also pump Liquid XP if you so desire , you need 30 levels to change the broken spawner type and 2.5 Million RF it will take a lot of time so you might want to consider adding a Double-Layered or Octadic Capacitor
then you put the Powered Spawner in the first slot in an anvil the LEFT one and the Broken Spawner in the RIGHT slot , you need 15 levels
now just supply it with power and it will spawn , be aware every mob has a energy multiplier Chicken being the lowest and Enderman is the highest
also if you don't kill spawned mobs fast then it will stop spawning once it reach 6 mobs but continue to eat up your energy
you can add a Double-Layered or Octadic Capacitor to speed up the spawning but it will eat up more energy , for example Enderman Powered Spawner with Octadic upgrade will use 15000 RF/tick
I have tried this with almost every mob i can find
Pigs,cows,chickens,endermen,sheep etc etc. Every spawner results in the same thing.Being unable to retrieve it from the anvil
I think that's a thaumcraft thing with v4.2.3.0, I get it with MFR and the grinder. I noticed I got it as well when I was dealing with blood magic, the only common factor was when the loot items dropped.

BTW you can only spawn Wither Skeleton in the nether so you don't need to capture a wither skeleton just grab a normal skeleton

Thats false.I have a MFR Auto-spawner running a wither skeleton right now in the overworld.Captured him with a reusable safari net, turned on exact copy on the spawner and its been running(slowly) for about 2 days now.Im looking to transition to EIO blocks instead of MFR.
i tried EIO spawners if you make a wither skeleton powered spawner and run it in the overworld it will just spawn normal skeletons the same applies for powered skeleton spawner spawn wither skeleton in the nether
i suggest sticking to MFR spawner it's way better EIO spawners will just eats your resource and power , Skeletons multiplier is 2 so with octadic upgrade that's a 3000 rf/tick and you will probably need it the spawning rate is really slow

it's because of the latest EiO version uses a new RF API version even newer than most mods like Extra Utilities v1.2.1 so it's not EIO fault per-say it's because mods don't get updated as fast as EIO you can use older version and everything will be good to go
don't check EIO wiki it's not updated from 2.2.0 currently the latest version 2.2.6 and there is so much changes , you should already know that ME Conduit are super buggy READ THIS

it's probably because of the power consumption in order to spawn mobs with a reasonable spawn rate one will need a big reactor power to do that
in your world you are probably generating metric ton of energy mostly not used however for EIO newcomers they see this as a complete waste of energy even with no upgrades it use at least 320 rf/tick and that's might seems insignificant number but its a lot
it's just as you said it's not as silly overpowered as some other spawning mods like Soul Shards Spawners the tier 5 is so overpowered killing 1000+of a mob is really nothing in modpacks even in normal modded with few mods or simply right clicking on a that mob spawner with the shard will increase the count by 200 ,, even MFR auto-spawners are overpowered you can just switch the mob type so easily thank god it requires mob essence to work but even that still make it OP as HELL
Edit: Even with an unbreakable axe, this problem still occurs [axe still present in FS and I'm in area so not chunk loading problem].
Edit: Also happens with Oak, tho much less frequently. And this is with the latest stable dev build.
