I'm trying to set up a teleportation system - but I still don't get the mechanics of it. It looks like when I'm near the teleportation-point when the redstone signal goes off, it teleports me back. That is fine - I can work around that by using levers. Now that I have a constant redstone signal after the teleport, it randomly teleports me back - and this is what I don't understand. The location where I teleport to is probably out of chunk loading range of the player.
The teleport direction is influenced by the redstone signal... If the signal is on it teleports you to the spot you want, if the signal is off it teleports you from that spot back to the teleporter. Have a look at the wiki, everything should be explained there
Also, make sure the places you are teleporting to and from are chunk loaded if they are too far away from each other.
could it be that this is a side effect of a chunk being unloaded?
Yes. Like I said, if you are teleporting over long distances make sure you keep the chunks loaded or the teleporters won't work... after all, they can't teleport you if they aren't loaded =P
Emulators are able to have light transmitted through them, even though the block they are emulating is not transparent. It makes having hidden doors look weird when you have light shooting out of them.
Bug #2: The new heads you added for Twilight Forest have regular human faces when held in hand, but the good awesome looking model when placed.
1. I installed you mod in FTB Monster and noticed that the head drops are very rare than they were in Horizons. Is this a setting in your mod?
Any and all help would be great. Thanks
On the Horizon's mod pack I believe they have head drops disabled. So there's another mod in there that is makes heads drop and that mod chose to make them drop at a higher rate than I did.

Bug #1: I'll see what I can do about that one. I probably just forgot to set light values.
Bug #2: Not a bug. I can't use twilight forrest's assets without the author permission. I haven't actually asked him yet, so for the mean time I gave them the steve's head texture (the models take the texture from inside the twilight forrest's jar, I don't ship any of the texture's myself)
I was thinking it over slightly for balance reasons mainly.
Maybe 2 heads could be 4 ender pearls? I kinda like the idea that when 2 mob heads are crafted their 4 eyeballs are turned into 4 ender pearls.
Not a big deal for me, but just food for thought.
I was having the hardest time getting ender pearls in my last world (very few ender men that never seemed to drop pearls) so I too would like to have another way to get ender pearls. Just crafting two heads and getting four pearls however is way too op, though using heads as the raw material is a great idea. Maybe crafting an emerald with an enchanting table will give you an ender infusion table. When you put a head of any kind into it after a somewhat long time (one minecraft day?) It will become an ender pearl. It would also be cool if the item inside would float above it like the book on the enchanting table and the transformation process would be accompanied by ender particles it might also have a side effect that changes any successful mob spawns around it into ender men while it is working.
There's no need to put a limit on teleportation because the games chunk loading micanics do it for you.

I like that :3
I'll work on something along those lines soon as I have more time
Working on a new mod atm
Can you change the emulator a bit: instead of emulating the block it sits on top of, emulate the block that you place it "on". So like if your cursor is on a block to the left of the block when you place it, it will emulate the block to the left.

That's a really good idea :3 And it was really easy to implement:3
Um, the strawpoll isn't working. And I want to help.
Hm yeah strawpolls expire quickly...
It was asking whether I should update to 1.7 or stay in 1.6 for a bit longer.
About 70% voted for me to remain on 1.6 for now.
I posted the results on twitter and forgot to put them here. Sorry :3

It won't teleport you back unless you turn the signal off...
if the signal stays on always, it will always teleport you in a single direction

Ooo, can't wait to see what you come up with

I'll be adding a machine that will allow turning the heads into pearls soon. So it won't be just a simple shapeless crafting anymore

It will help me decide what to do with 1.7
