Hi folks,
is there an reinforced glass recipi out there? I still cant find it. And almost all of the recipis in the Manual you can get via /sc help are empty too. Strange.

-> Use the reinforce tool on a normal vanilla glaspanle. It will be turn into reinforced. Than use the universal Blockbreaker tool to harvest the panels. Done
Do this in survival
The FrameBlock is a Monitor for the Sceens, but u need to install the API Mod - "Looking Glas" and turn the funktion on in the config file of SC (if not even default).

But why does the rotation speed increase, if i bound a display to it, it increases more, if i repeat the process and add a Monitorframe.

It is almost unable to look at some cams, because the rotating so fast (2 cycles in 1 second)
There are some other issuse too:
- with "looking glass" we are unable to "hop into" the camview and use nightvision or the rotate them by our self
- no nightvision ability if the screen is taped to the monitor frame
- if we break the frame, the display disapers - not itemdrop - quite expensive because of the iron
the frame should only accept ONE Display, it it possible to stack them on the frame, the Video gets wired ;). And the Monitorframe should have the same UI like the normal "camera view" without the looking glas api. So we can adjust the zoom, angle and the nightvision. This would be awesome

Which version of SecurityCraft are you using? Because that bug you described with the cameras getting faster should not be a thing in the full release.
Of course LookingGlass does not allow to "hop into" the camera's view. It is a mod library to display worlds from a specific perspective, and can't be directly interacted with. That's also why there will NEVER be a GUI like the one without LG.
As for the bug, I've took note of that.
I had the same problem. You need to install the "LookingGlass" API and if false set this line in the Security Craft config to true:
"Use LookingGlass for viewing cameras?"=true

Yup, those are affected, too. KCauldron is just an up to date version of the normal Cauldron.
so Kcauldron (or cauldron in general) does not output certain chunk updates from minecraft which looking glass requires to show an image on the monitor if i'm understanding right. I know there was a recent update for Kcauldron which pushed it to KCauldron-1.7.10-1566, could it have possibly been fixed or is it a core element to cauldron?
also the fast rotation glitch is present in single player running forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1558-1.7.10-installer-win, and securitycraft is version 1.8.0 for 1.7.10.
[EDIT] i'm not sure if it's because i'm currently running my Kcauldron server on the same PC i'm running my client on, but I can see the cameras perfectly at the normal slow scanning speed, and yes, this is with looking glass on the server too and it's showing up perfectly on the monitors too.
[EDIT2] apparently you can only view 1 camera at a time, meaning if you go to add another camera monitor into another frame, if it's a different camera than the first one showing it will shut the server down. i'm going to post this for Kcauldron and looking glass so they both can see it. other than that you can have 1 camera view on at least 2 different frames.
The game crashes a few minutes after i activate the Camera Display (With Looking Glass API). i hope you have a suggestion. Sometimes it works for a hour, somtimes it goes down in a few seconds.
The Server is still running, but the client crashed everytime. :/

That's an issue caused by LookingGlass interfering with some TileEntity rendering of TF2Teleporter, you should probably report it to pitman87.

THX, ill report that to him, but there is still a major issue with the cctv cam of securetycraft:
Looking to the cam via the screen, just teleports the player one block above the cam that causes:
-continuous taking damage (without dying), if a block is placed above the cam
-wired camview in rooms
- mobtraps wont work, because a player is at the place, preventing the mobs from spwaning
- mobs attacing the cam instantly, if a player switches into the cam view. (including exploding creepers or angry ogres from MoCreatures - a big mess, just by hoping into the cam view :/ )
I set this mod up to my server because of the cams, controlling mobtraps and the farms. You should separate the cam option from the securety mod and set up a stand alone. This cctv option is a great feature, but a the moment is not working proper

I'm actually not that sure either, since that's a part Geforce made. But I can think that it has to do with that the camera is not in loaded chunks and such can't get mounted to.

if you have a mod with a chunkloader maybe see if placing one near that camera might allow it to be viewed from a far distance. that is if your PC can handle it.
So, when I make reinforced glass, and use a block remover, it doesn't give me the glass, so how do I get it in my inventory?
Vanilla glass breaks when you destroy it, too. But in the next version Reinforced Glass will be obtainable again, since it's reinforced and shouldn't break easily.

Update your SecurityCraft version.
Right clicking a frame with a bound monitor doesn't work.
that requires having the mod LookingGlass installed as well.

Do you have LookingGlass installed?
if you have a mod with a chunkloader maybe see if placing one near that camera might allow it to be viewed from a far distance. that is if your PC can handle it.
