Hi, first of all, this mod is great. love the security cameras. I only have one problem with it. I use lookingglass V.2 and securitycraft V1.8.1 and the cameras are going way too fast when i use the monitor in a frame. i have looked in the config file but only found camera speed without lookingglass. hope you will be able to help me. great mod
That's a bug from LookingGlass. I've already let xCompWiz (the creator of LookingGlass) know how to fix it, but he didn't update the mod with my fixes yet.
Don't know if this has been asked already, but on Waila, I see a 'Custom name: Not set' label on the security cameras. Any way to set said custom name?

You should be able to set a custom name to the camera by right-clicking it with a renamed name tag.
I was hoping if you could add safes.That would be cool. BTW How do you view a camera in the frame? PLLEEEAASSE
Safes would only be a different version of Password-protected chests. We'll see if we implement them. And to view a camera in a frame, you have to use a 1.7.10 client and have LookingGlass installed

I cant seem to look trough the camera i checked the manual but is says something about looking glass?
You need to have Minecraft 1.7.10 and LookingGlass installed in order for that to work. LG is a normal mod just like SecurityCraft which just adds functionality SC is using to display the cameras.
I wanted to make mention of something. I decided to start tinkering with the new Kcauldron replacement "Thermos" and found that lookingglass does not crash a server, HOWEVER, when you go to bind a monitor to either a camera or frame the camera view goes full screen (meaning within the whole minecraft window) and you are rendered stuck there unless you hit escape and somehow navigate to the save and quit button as the escape GUI is completely invisible.
perhaps this should be mentioned to the dev of Thermos, we might just get a working forge/bukkit server that we will see our framed cameras on yet!
Would be to great if the cameras would be connected to a tv to check the cameras out without using all the time the "tablet" and since the mod wouldn't be continued there is no chance to get this function in, right?
If you would actually read the relase post, then you'd know that the function is in for quite some time now. And the mod is getting continued. Just not in the way you think it will.
