- Minecraft 1.8.8 support
- New block: The Protecto. It will kill players in a certain radius with a lightningstrike. It must be raining in order for it to work
- New Item: The Briefcase. It is a compact storage solution, just like a backpack
- Fully translateable messages/GUIs etc.
- New custom options accessible via the Universal Block Modifier's GUI replacing some config options
- Updated SecurityCraft Guide to be more clear (you can get the guide by typing /sc help into the chat)
We've also noticed that many players didn't know how they can view a Camera on a wall, or a block, that's why I'm explaining it again here. If you are using Minecraft 1.8 or 1.8.8, I have to let you down, as the mod we are using to achieve that feature is not out for these versions yet, but it hopefully will be in the future and of course support for it will get added, once it is.
For Minecraft 1.7.10, please download LookingGlass's latest version (v0.2.0.00) and put it in your .minecraft/mods folder. Startup your Minecraft, and once you've joined the world you can rightclick a Frame with a bound Camera Monitor to add the view to the block. You can disable this feature in the configuration file, and any other cameras which were previously bound to the same monitor will still be there.
So, that sums it up. Downloads can be found below and we hope you enjoy this version
How do I install this mod? FYI last time I tried to install this I got a message saying "Provisioning package failure".
as far as I know this mod is just a "drop in mods folder (or 1.7.10 folder in mods folder) and play" type, at least for someone who has installed forge before.
Geforce, I really love your mod, but for some reason, I can't watch the security camera in the frame! I tried several times to put a camera and then bound it with the monitor, and then I right-click on the frame with the monitor, but it doesn't work! Please help me!

so many people don't read the whole first post, admittedly I was one of those people, but this has now been answered about 5 times in the last 2 pages. you need to install "lookingGlass" for it to work.
I download your mod and try to open it so it can be used and get a Provisioning Package failure pop-up. I don't know how that's possible considering this is a brand new computer.

Ok i downloaded SecurityCraft 1.7.10 v1.8.1 and every time the game loads it says i need to update forge so i did that and the game always crashes and i cant even play what do i do i need like an install tutorial video or something cuz i have no idea what im doing i've looked for videos and everyone has one for the newer version on minecraft not 1.7.10 I dont even know what version of forge i have but most of the mods i have work with it except the new securitycraft Help !!!!!

Try disabling the Forge custom splash screen in "splash.properties". That's a common problem for me.

Problem is the old Forge program no longer exists. So that might be a problem to try and install.
