Yes, I know, sorry about that! It'll be fixed in the next beta (or the official release). In the meantime, avoid right-clicking the frame with just your empty hand.
I did that and i crashed so don't do it plus when u used the cameras and put it on a frame u lag
The lag is caused by LookingGlass having to keep all the chucks in the camera's view loaded, to display them on the frame. There will be less lag depending on how powerful your computer is. It will hopefully be optimized as LookingGlass is updated.
Gawd people i just said theres a link and no one listens well then suit yourselves i just told you that theres a download link of the new version for cameras
idk if reinforced blocks are supposed to be blast proof but a stargate explosion will obliterate them. however it should be noted that I increased the blast radius to 120 in the config and that the damage done by the explosion was A LOT less than it should have been.
EDIT: mc forums is being a pain and not letting me upload an image because "The file provided is too large. Please provide a file less than 1 GB." when the screenshot is tiny.

It sure would be nice if we had some grenades don't you think?
i wish the coded chests couldint be broken, i had one and someone just broke it and took the stuff from it, it is really anoying.
Password protect chests should not be able to be broken by other players. Either you haven't replaced your chest when switching from SecurityCraft v1.6 to v1.7, or you're using an old version where that might have been a bug. Keep in mind that codebreakers can be used on anyone's chests.
Hello! I was wondering, how do I get my name on the Username Logger? I have passed by it, and it doesn't log my name. How do I set this up, or fix the bug, if it is a bug?
Hey guys, im running a 1.8 server and have the latest version of Security craft (love it by the way). I'm having issues figuring out how to get the laser blocks to work with anything. I mean... I put one down and put another a few spaces apart and the laser comes out... but thats all it does, it wont set off an alarm, wont activate a piston, wont explode tnt ... wont do anything. Maybe Im doing something wrong?
Can someone explain how to do it?
That is currently a bug in v1.7.4.1. A possible workaround for the 1.7.10 version is, that you place 2 lasers ontop of each other, having a setup similar to this (":" = laser ontop of laser | "=" = laser beam):
:=====:
This seems to fix that the lasers don't output a proper signal. I'm not sure wether this workaround will work in 1.8, but it's worth a try.

Here's a glitch I've noticed: when you put a monitor on a frame, it vanishes after a few minutes. Not the frame, but the moniter just vanishes. And it doesn't have to do with distance, because you can be looking right at it when it vanishes.

This is intentional. The monitor turns off after 5 minutes to prevent unneccessary lag. You cannot turn it back on as of now, as far as I know.
Okay who's idea was it to not to include an on/off switch??
Vauff initially had the idea to include the timed turn-off, to reduce server lag on BreakIn' Bad, and Geforce implemented it. I guess he forgot to add a way to turn it back on.

Another recommendation I have is to make an option for each camera so they don't turn. Because there are some cameras that I don't want to actually turn because I don't want anyone viewing the camera to see what's behind it. Also, it helps you focus on what's on the screen better if you could actually see a room without having to be distracted by the turning of the camera. Maybe you could use some special item and right click on the camera while it's turning to freeze it at a certain angle?

I dunno i guess its a good idea for cameras who just stares at one place
Speaking of cameras will their be cameras for 1.8 MC not 1.8.0.6 version of this mod its confusing cause both start in 1.8 so will cameras be added in for MC 1.8 would be awesome if it is thx ?
sorry just realized its for beta players... how can you get the beta?

Here's a glitch I've noticed: when you put a monitor on a frame, it vanishes after a few minutes. Not the frame, but the moniter just vanishes. And it doesn't have to do with distance, because you can be looking right at it when it vanishes.
This is intentional. The monitor turns off after 5 minutes to prevent unneccessary lag. You cannot turn it back on as of now, as far as I know.
Okay who's idea was it to not to include an on/off switch??
By thy Power of Ultimate Fire you are History.
I'm thy hot headed D.E.M.O.N.S. Prince of Tahlavainia.
Never Surrender, Never Give In, Never Back Down, Fight until you are fully dead.
