So I have no immediate idea on a short-term fix. (This mod is far from my priority.)
Thanks for looking. Does that mean something else may *not* be dynamically adding a potion ID? Just throwing things out there, I vaguely understand these problems as I know nothing about coding. Is it possible to run out of GlobalEntityIDs?
For now, I'll take this mod out, and just stay subscribed to this post in the hopes that you may revisit it one day with a fix.
Actually, I think that's another mod of yours that is causing this to occur. Trying to find out which mod that is (by removing the other mods half by half) and telling me which one you end up with, would help a lot.
Also, at least one of your mod is modifying some your Minecraft (Forge) code at runtime, because the line-numbers in your crash reports don't match the ones in my dev environment.
I'll probably test all this out a little later today, but my first hunch is MineFantasy2. I haven't tried loading this mod w/out MineFantasy2, but other mods started having the same conflict when I added it in. So basically, I think my goal at this point is to try to get things to play nice together while still retaining MF2, if possible.
FAQ:
"Hey, stupid, why not contact the author of MF2?"
I did, and they stated that everything is correct on their end. For an example of another conflict, I am using SGS Treasure, which threw a similar error (at least, the first line I bolded in red was identical on his mod, and this one) after I added MF2, but the creator of SGS Treasure was able to correct his end to allow them to play nice together. I don't think he even knew I was using MF2, either.
Anyway, I'll see if I can get you a for sure answer, but this is the likely culprit, for reasons I've mentioned above.
UPDATE: Removed MF2 and server loaded fine w/the "You Will Die!" mod added, and did not crash even when using the "crude" jar file. I don't know how to confirm the lines you're referring to though, since no crash was thrown.
UPDATE 2: Here's the crash when adding MF2 back in, and using the "crude fix" you provided. I don't know if this helps or not. I see those first 2 lines you mentioned haven't changed, but I wouldn't expect them to since MF2 was added back in, and I imagine it's what's changing that. The only thing *I* see different is it's complaining about ID 28 now instead of 27.

A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Perhaps you can test whether changing that number to 200+ in their configs helps?) and they don't seem to mark them as "used."
I slapped a wall of text on their thread, and hopefully someone can help. I referenced the code you mentioned, and I guess we'll see what happens.
I did want to say that I *successfully* loaded the two mods after changing the starting Entity ID to 210 (200 still did not work). The world loaded, although slowly. I'm not sure that has anything to do with that value being changed, though.
Thanks again for your help with this. I got more info from you than from anyone else so far.
EDIT: Here is the response I got from the mod author if MF2:
"if you have a look at the auto-assigned option: the error comes from another mod entity. What I believe is happening is MF auto-assigns as usual, but if another mod initiates after MineFantasy: it will not attempt to adjust.
Minefantasy ids search for an empty id to use, but the other mods may not. This means if their mod initiation is after Minefantasy: the id will attempt to take that. Try changing the config for the other mod."
I wish I knew something about the way the code reads so I had a leg to stand on and either know if he's right, or tell him why he's wrong. It's hard for me to believe that it's "everyone elses fault" though, if that makes sense. That's what it's sounding like he's saying. Maybe it's where you said that it doesn't look like MF2 is marking the IDs as "used" so other mods loading after it are trying to use ones that have already been taken? Makes sense in my head, at least.
Could you tell him what I bolded in the above quote?
I'll take a look at what MF2's author says as well.
Done, and thank you.
That is something I've experienced as well when using the 1.7.2 mod with MC 1.7.10 over a year ago. That's why I removed it from my modpacks.
I would not know where to start fixing that, though and I have other... priorities.
It's no problem really. I understand this is not your mod and you've gone out of your way enough already answering the questions I've had, and I appreciate that. Good to know you had the same issue, though. I've removed it for now, and again will wait and hope for it's revival. It really is a wonderful idea.

Chisel: Errors like "[FML]: Unable to lookup ..." are NOT the cause of this crash. You can safely ignore these errors. And update forge while you're at it.
Profiler Position: N/A (disabled)
Is Modded: Definitely; Server brand changed to 'fml, forge'
Type: Dedicated Server (map_server.txt)
Getting this in my server console followed by time out disconnects:
[Server] Server thread/ERROR [FML]: Detected ongoing potential memory leak. 300 packets have leaked. Top offenders
[Server] Server thread/ERROR [FML]: YWDMod : 300
Highest I've seen so far was 1200 packets. Happens within a minute of joining the server, every time.
Done, and thank you.
It's no problem really. I understand this is not your mod and you've gone out of your way enough already answering the questions I've had, and I appreciate that. Good to know you had the same issue, though. I've removed it for now, and again will wait and hope for it's revival. It really is a wonderful idea.
does anyone know how to get increased weapon ranks? is it just really rare or something?, cause it seems like every weapon i get is just a rank 1 always
