Hello, I think I found a bug with jack-o-laterns. When they drop, they try to spawn a torch right? The thing is, when I drop a jack'o lantern over a slab or a torch, it just disappears, it doesn't try to spawn a torch or drop seeds, it simply disappears.
Also, it seems like your mod makes jack-o-lanterns melt snow and if they do that, there is no way to create snow golems.
If you drop the lantern on a slab from sufficient height it will break into torch and 4 seeds, but if the height is insufficient for breaking, it seems to disappear without a trace, just as regular pumpkins and melons do. I'd way it's a BTW bug.
As for snow melting by light, just use regular pumpkins for your snow golems.

Well, thank you! I was able to confirm that it happens without your mod! I'm going to continue to play with it! Maybe the bug will be resolved in the future.
Does this mod improve performance at all (more fps)? If not, do you plan on doing something so it does? Do you know of any other BTW addons that improve fps, preferably ones that stay up to date like you do.

It doesn't, as it's not the goal of this mod. I don't believe there are any performance-improving mods for BTW.
Such a mod would require extensive core changes and could easily break while BTW keeps updating, so
it may only be worth looking into this after BTW gets "finalized".

One can only wonder if that will ever happen. For ages, it's been said that "lose ends were being tied up", "final stretch" etc.
What's new:
v0.7a
- Ocelots now rarely drop arcane scroll of haste, which could be applied to
boots for up to 30% speed boost.
- Fixed crash when attempting to view recipes with CraftGuide.
v0.7
- Now beds are usable again and allow players to regenerate even when hungry.
Regeneration rate is doubled and hunger rate is halved when resting.
- Fix quick rock conversion, hopefully
- Thrown or dispensed rocks shatter glass
- Potash fertilizes farmland or planter when dropped on it
- Seeds root themselves when dropped on suitable ground
- Kiln doubles nugget output from iron and gold ore
- New /playtime command shows age of the world in real time
- Cooking progress in furnace, cauldron, etc. now reverts slowly when without
fire. This should make starter diamonds in cauldron more reliable to make.
I don't think plainly circumventing BTW features is the direction I want to go.
At least not until feature plans are done and I get to re-enable "Easy" difficulty.
- Glass blocks shatter when landed on from a height
- Fixed FlowerChild's terrible oversight that caused
darkness not to consume the player's mystery meat
- Cistern can now be crafted to Cauldron by adding
a bucket of water and a bone on top
- For BTW version "4.99999A0D Marsupial??!!" or newer, since it
changed item stay to 20 minutes when dropped after death,
boosting item stay patch is no longer applied
- For BTW version "4.99999A0D Marsupial??!!" or newer, since it
added gravel and sand slabs, replace corresponding BTWTweak
recipes and allow crafting old slabs to new slabs
0.7c
- Fix bed regeneration patch for BTW "4.99999A0Eb Marsupial?!!!"
- Render sun/moon on short and tiny view distances as it is now
an important part of gameplay, and was becoming an artificial
difficulty for those with lower spec PCs
- Set fog to stay minimum at normal distance (configurable),
for same reason as above and to see ghasts shooting at you
- Tell BTW and BTWTweak version info in main menu
- REALLY fix Cistern to Cauldron recipe
- Fix quick rock conversion: had wrong cobblestone metadata,
causing weird stacks and non-operability in crucible
- Fix glass not being efficiently broken by pickaxe
- Fix vanilla bug (MC-881) with boats causing fall damage when
just out of water, i.e. arriving on a dock made of slabs
- Add "tree stumps" feature: bottommost log is much harder
to gather without digging it up first
- Change (reduce) jungle and pine tree hardness a bit for more
variety and to signify weaker wood types
- Make cows and sheep heal when they eat grass
- Re-add the feature of sawing decorative wooden blocks
such as pedestal, table, bench, column
- Fix missing beacon texture
- Adjust visual fullness of cauldron and crucible to 9 item
slots to correspond better with the reduced inventory
- Backport new charcoal texture
- Prevent cave and jungle spiders from dropping heads due to
small size and to correspond better with eye drop being
exclusive to big spiders
- Allow grinding hellfire and sandstone back to their
respective dust/pile form
- Add visual rotation to the top surface of the turntable
- Pressing the hotbar key of already selected slot will cycle
items in the corresponding inventory column
- Make wither skeletons and logs destroyed by fire drop ash,
which also can be used as a fertilizer
- To pay tribute to death, now gravestone is placed after the
player's death, if terrain allows. Graves will only be
created if the player lived long enough to Hardcore Spawn.
- Logs in abandoned mineshafts are now eaten by termites and
will only drop a piece of sawdust when harvested
- Rails in abandoned mineshafts are now rusted and
give several times less iron when smelted
Wow, I thought this was dead...I understand FC's original desire to avoid Forge, *sort of*; but at this point, how can you guys stand to not use it ? And to be actively developing many many version behind...ick...No disrespect, but I just don't see the point or appeal. Even complete overhauls that IMHO are equally if not more so complex like TFC use forge. I'd say its time to bury the hatchet and let it all go, join us here in the future, things are great here, I promise...
Did you really fix this (in)famous bug? Hats off to you. I think that was a tough one. I hope nothing is broken now.
Actually, it was a single line of code in EntityBoat (that translated to 10 instructions Java bytecode patch, but that's nothing compared to other patches I've made). I consider it important to fix vanilla bugs that impede the gameplay.
Regarding tombstones with the R.I.P. letters, is it configurable? I'm not sure if I want that feature in my games, since it leads to a few awkward questions like "who made the gravestone", "who buried Steve", that might endanger my suspension of disbelief.
Not configurable, but I might make it so you could just assign 0 to the block ID to turn it off, if you want.
But before you do, I'd like you to consider that the game is not at all close to real world and somehow respawning happens there, monsters out of nowhere, you can bind yourself to a beacon to change respawning... So appearance of gravestones is not really a problem there.

BTW never was dead, and neither was BTWTweak. It has been discussed in BTW thread countless amount of times that newer Minecraft versions contain lots of unbalanced content and considering there's no interest to be compatible with latest mods, constantly updating to new Minecraft is a waste of time. Staying on the same version of Minecraft is also what makes BTWTweak possible.
I did try TFC about a year ago and I enjoyed it. However, the existence of large overhaul Forge mods do not invalidate the approach of modding without Forge. It's different, this mod is different. It also can be enjoyed, and I invite you to try, especially if you haven't tried before criticizing.
Not a single time I was thinking of burial services or civilization when adding gravestone feature. All I wanted is to mark the death spots with something cool, and gravestones look cool in my opinion. It's also a shoutout to other games with instant graves like Worms, or Digger. =)
I haven't played with Forge modpacks for a long while now, and have no idea that it's ever been a feature there.

- Fix crash when sawing on newer BTW versions [#1]

Do you plan on updating this Grom?
Maybe one day, I can actually lay in my bed obese. That would be so awesome.
