SurroundFixer
latest: v0.2 for MC1.6.2
See changelog for downloads (which include source code)
If you're one of the few people with multiple monitors set up in an widescreen array to use with AMD Eyefinity, NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround, or NVIDIA 2D Surround, this one's for you. Without any mods, Minecraft doesn';t compensate for extremely wide monitor setups, and as a result, chat and the debug screen will appear on the far left and achievement notifications appear on the far right. This is a bit inconvenient as it means you have to tilt your head back and forth all the time to see everything.
Thus, this mod comes as a fix. With this mod turned on, all of the HUD elements will be rendered on the central monitor, exactly the same way they would appear in a normal 16:9 resolution. The mod only activates while the game is full screen. As of v0.2, the mod will work in windowed mode and fullscreen. As far as I know, the mod corrects the resolution for all menus everywhere (except the rarely used snooper menu).

Installation
Download the latest ZIP file for your version of Minecraft and extract it somewhere. Using WinRAR or 7-Zip or jZip or whatever other program you use, put all the ".class" files from the SurroundFixer ZIP file into your Minecraft jar file (and don't forget to delete META-INF).
If you are installing multiple mods, I recommend installing SurroundFixer before anything else. If another mod overwrites one of SurroundFixer's files, it will remove some of SurroundFixer's functionality but the rest will be preserved.
If you have any other problems, leave a comment so I or someone else can try to help, and feel free to send me a private message since I'm bad about monitoring this thread.
Enabled the mod to work even in windowed mode (this was the only change in this update, so if you'd prefer not to have this behavior, use v0.1.1 instead)
nVidia's Surround isn't working for me and I've simply activated all my displays. Fullscreen only makes it use 1 monitor. Is it possible to make the chatbox in the center without fullscreen?

I cannot get this plugin to work, I transferred all the required class files into the .minecraft jar file and nothing changes.
v0.1.1 was set to only work when the game was fullscreen, so if you never tested it in full screen, that would be the source of the problem. v0.2 works in windowed mode and fullscreen.
If v0.2 doesn't fix it, then maybe it's a conflict with another mod or something; it's hard to say.

I had some reason for not enabling the mod in fullscreen, but it was probably some dumb personal preference or whatever, so I've just posted an update (v0.2) that makes the mod work in fullscreen now.

they need to do that
