Before installing Linux: 13 FPS but got laggier over time
After installing linux: Stable 60 FPS
That is not kidding. (With LXDE, not Unity. Unity is a real hog).
Sometimes, I've tested minecraft on arch linux(my main os) and debian wheezy and both times the game ran worse. I triple boot win7, win8 and arch linux now, and while I do my everyday stuff (browsing, coding etc) on linux, I will still only do games and the like on windows. Linux is still a little bit away from being able to get really good 3d support.

Doesn't work so well for me. You should try and add some FPS sensors if possible and have the mod enable/disable, whichever is better. Also you should adopt the standard way that mods are installed. Add to the mods folder and have forge load it like any other mod.

Depends on your cpu, there is no definite version that boosts your fps. However if you have a slower\older (mostly older) cpu, any version should increase fps. If you are using 1.6.4 then download FpsPlus v2.

my spec is radeon hd mobility 7310(x2 and the latest beta catalyst) with apu e1-1200 (suck in total) without any overclock, minecraft run at 15-20 fps(without optifine and optileave)

you can connect to a server that does not have the mod, however the server can also run the mod to get a bit of a boost in performance server side. Same goes for a client that does not have the mod and a server that does, both can connect fine. As as how to install it with FTB, (i vaugely remember) but there should be a menu that lets you put mods in the modpack, and within that menu there is a tab that says core mods or something(optifine,FML,forge will be listed there) thats where you install FpsPlus. And add the startup parameters, there should also be a tab like that somewhere within the launcher im not sure.

I need some help, how can I put more than one java argument at the launcher?
Because I need the argumente for FPS+, for increase the PermSize ("XX:MaxPermSize=#") and to aloccate mor memory for the game (-Xmx# -Xms#)

start the launcher after that click the "edit profile". tick the "JVM Arguments" then put the start up parameters. hit "save profile' and you done~

With shaders:
fps+ : 45
Normal: 47
Not sure if it doesnt work well on some systems or what. Im using a 460GTX and a 3570K.
This simply means you poorly managed your previous OS drivers/java. Linux itself does slightly poorer when all else is equal.
