Hey im a friend of abandez. He cant get to you guys during the week, but i can give him info when its really crucial. Besides that he asked me to post this. "There is no inventory crash bug and if the game dosent work get rid of the server parameter. If it keeps crashing send me a crash report. Thanks." So you guys do that ok?
[FPS+ BUG]
So I did a test with only having the FPS+ mod installed.
I tested with a server parameter and without a server parameter.
This plus Optifine makes my Minecraft actually run almost like a normal person's Minecraft. (You gotta think, without any additional mods or such I get around 5-15fps normally) But with these two combined I get around 30 fps, with Google Chrome pulled up. Thank you abandenz for making a mod that works with Optifine.

Cannot join any servers,i copied and pasted the exact code
The mod should not affect your ability to connect to servers, I just connected to both of mine. And the -server parameter is just a performance option.

FpsPlus+ Should now have no bugs, and enchanted items being held render a glint like effect but it should not be as intensive as the default glint render. Other than that the crashes with enchanted item rendering should now be fixed. ALL UPDATED

You just picked a bad time (of day) to upload, only us "deep South" folk around at this hour!
On my old i3 / GT220 rig:
fpsPlus Ver.B = ok
fpsPlus+ = better
fpsPlus = WOW..... Good job!
Just a suggestion, it might help to have version numbers for the downloads, so it's easier to tell when there's an update (and if we're replacing an older version with a newer one in our mods setup). E.g: fpsPlus 1.6.2.4, if it's the 4th release for Minecraft 1.6.2, or something similar perhaps.

;D. yeah I was thinking about doing that but then I would have to go through the post and change all the links again. How I have it setup at the moment I just need to upload the updated files.

It seems that on a more powerful PC, this mod may reduce fps or just break even. Tested on my newer i5 / Radeon 7870 rig, makes sense though, it's really not needed on a rig like this. But it is a great help for older PC's! As I said above, really helped my old i3.
I also noticed that the mod order in Magic Launcher may be important, as fpsPlus seemed to boost more when placed at the bottom of the mods list below Optifine and other mods, can you confirm?

On 1.6.2 using FpsPlus+ - works extremely well with 182 mods with roughly 60FPS with Internet/YouTube/Skype open. Love it! Going to be well for my modded series!
Will post picture when I got home. The question is what's the difference between the new FpsPlus+ version and the previous one (I have)?
I used to use a mod that helped lag issues in the nether. The mod was called 'Smooth Nether Mod'. I was wondering if you could possible create one of your own or perhaps take over the Smooth Nether mod?!
Well it looks like the FPS version works best for me. The FPS version B works for me but not as good as FPS and FPS+ still crashes my game.
P.S.
Any luck on developing a nether lag fix mod?!
yes I am working on it right now but its going to take a little bit, Hmm the newer versions shouldn't crash the game. Its probably a mod that trying to do something directly with enchanted item rendering.

Thanks. And nothing really but the crashes people had should be fixed and I went about some things differently in the version.

Yeah I believe its because on faster computers its faster to just calculate the Sin/Cos each time. On older computers its faster to store them in a lookup table and the table generated again every now and then. Umm FpsPlus shouldnt really matter what order you have it in but if it seems like you are getting more fps then add it to the bottom of the list. Most of these problems should be fixed when i develop this into a actual core mod.

Released FpsPlus version C. Just contains another reworked MathHelper that might be faster on some peoples computers. Its really just depends on the persons computer hence why there are 3 different version.

Did you put the parameters in before you launched the game? because I have no problem running optifine and fps plus.

Is the new installation method (modifying the .jar) necessary when using Magic Launcher?
I also noticed the "-server" is gone now, important?
